Pleasantly surprised of my first experience with Lensabl. Was a bit skeptical at first but exceeded all my expectations. Quality and presentation were excellent.
A customer should never be told to read the fine print when orders are not completed on time, and when there has been almost no communication about their order. To have a no refunds under any circumstance policy is a dead stop for any customer. I was supposed to receive my order in 4-7 business days and it took almost a month. I was told that no order would ever be refunded because "they are a startup."
If I had not been overly proactive in my communication, I would have received zero info and my lenses would still be in production.
When I called for a specific update I was hung up on and blocked on your Facebook page.

With aging eyes, I was in shock when my ophthalmologists changed my progressive prescription with added prism adjustments. Less than a year ago I had "invested" more than several thousand dollars in new glasses and sunglasses. I searched the web and found Lensable that offered to update my lenses for less than half of the cost my local optical salon was quoting. I was still nervous about paying upfront and mailing my Tom Ford's trusting that they would come back to me with a prescription that would solve my vision issues. My first wow from Lensable was that the mailing label they gave provided UPS overnight service. I place the glasses in UPS care at 5:00 PM on the East Coast and got a confirmation that they were delivered to Lensable the next morning. Then I was further impressed that their Customer Service team stayed in constant contact with me advising exactly where they were in the course of completing my order. When in less than a week they emailed me a notice of shipment, I receive the package the next morning at 10:00 AM. Drum roll... AND THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. Bye-bye optical salon. Lensabl is on my vision team permanently. Thank you!
Lenses don't fit properly in my frames. I sent it back to them for a fix. They came back and still pop out of the frame. Had a good experience with them a couple years ago but things have apparently changed dramatically since then. Just terrible.
The quality of the glasses seem good. Yet, they did a poor job on the schedule and communications. The estimates of the times were inaccurate and they constantly gave me inaccurate updates.
I ordered the eye glasses and they took more than 30 days to get the glasses after chasing and finally got my frames and glasses. I am happy as they took time to provide quality product it would be great if they are more proactive in communicating to customer about the progress their website progress is not giving much information. In my case it was showing 6 business days for more than 20 days.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
