Lensabl has garnered a reputation for providing high-quality lenses and a convenient service for replacing lenses in existing frames, with many customers expressing satisfaction with the product quality and the speed of delivery. However, concerns have been raised regarding customer service responsiveness, particularly during issue resolution, as well as occasional discrepancies in prescription accuracy. While many customers appreciate the transparency and communication throughout the process, there are notable frustrations related to the handling of returns and remakes. Overall, Lensabl is viewed positively, though improvements in customer support could enhance the overall experience.

I have an eye condition that results in my prescription changing frequently. I ordered a lens replacement and the day after I mailed my frames, I found out my prescription had changed. I sent an email to customer service and asked if I could change the prescription for my order. The day after I emailed, I received a notification that my frames were received. After that notification, I received a response from customer service that they could not change the prescription. I made the request before they even received my frames. I explained in a response to customer service that I knew my request was received by them before they had my frames and questioned why it couldn't be changed. The only option offered to me was to purchase ANOTHER set of lenses with a 25% discount. Basically, I would pay 175% for the correct lenses. I declined and now have glasses that are not right. I would not have an issue expect that I know my request was made before my order was started. It was a waste of my money.
It took longer than expected and (frankly) the "AR" picture they created of how the glasses frames I purchased would look on my daughter look nothing like them in real life, but at least we got some glasses without having to enter a doctor's office during COVID...
I have a very pricey frame that I wanted to use again but my prescription recently changed. I decided to try Lensabl. Received my frame return box and shipped label, dropped them into the mail on Nov 5th and received an email stating they received them on Nov 10th. On Nov 18th I received my glasses back! I'm very pleased with Lensabl.
Several months of back and forth with disjointed CSR. Lensabl screwed up the original order and we had to pay extra and wait nearly 3 months for a lousy pair of glasses
I bought designer sunglasses about 5 years ago and haven't worn them more than once or twice because I don't wear contacts and can't really see well without prescription lenses. During COVID, I've been doing little tasks and one of them was to find a way to replace the standard lenses with my prescription and polarized/mirror lenses. Everything about the process was SO easy -- it's like a white glove service for lenses. It's expensive, but the care and quality is very high (not to mention the steps very easy!).
Very happy with my lens, they took great care of my frames.
I am dissatisfied with the quality of the lenses and the speed at which it was completed. One lens seems to be missing the blue light filter and the PD measurement is off a bit. I would not recommend.
My glasses was done perfect! I would send my family and friends there way praise Jesus!
This was my first time ordering a prescription lens. They keep posted me with the process. The shipping was so fast. Everything was perfect.
I purchased the wrong lenses it seems on the site, I own that, it wasn't what I thought it would be. But now to get the problem fixed it takes 24+hrs for each email communication to happen! I email them, they email me 24 hrs later, I email them again that day and... yep you guessed it 24hrs later ill get a response. Then I send my purchase back to them to see if they can fix it. Email them when I see they have received it. 24hrs later they respond with all is as it should be nothing wrong here. Then I respond with a question about cost to upgrade that can be answered in 20seconds on a phone or chat and what is next? Another 24hrs of waiting.
Now I don't have my purchase and no idea what is going on with it. Again waiting 24 hrs for another answer or question at this point I dont know!
Worked just like you would hope it would... my only misgiving is that their recommended tint level for sunglasses seems light to me - I wish I had gone a shade or two darker.
One lens in the glasses came back opaque. For the price, it's not worth the hassle of it being wrong.
Exponentially better lenses than what I had before. Service was implemented in a timely and straightforward manner.
After 4 attempts to make contact with this hack, unreputable clownshow known as Lensabl, starting with my first email immediately upon receiving my order, they've gone AWOL and are ignoring me. The prescription lenses sent are absolutely unacceptable and I WANT A FULL REFUND IMMEDIATELY! After researching them with the BBB, I've found this is common practice and I dare them to prove me wrong. How a company like BOSE established a relationship with Lensabl is beyond me. Pass this message on with the hope that we can resolve this situation and I can put them in my rear view mirror.
I waited a month due to "reviewing" lens and you guys didn't even follow the script! I could not read with them so I took them to the person who performed by eye exam and they said they are completely wrong. RT sphere is. 25 and you have the lens at +1.50! My cylinder would be 1.00 and you sent 1.75! My prism was Add 2.5 and you gave me. 25! Did you even read it? Really?! Did you?
After returning the first pair because of an incorrect bifocal placement, received the replacement and was disappointed in the results. I honestly do t know if they put my old lenses in (since I didn't get them back as I had the first time), or if my prescription was messed up, or if my prescription is too difficult, or if I filled out something incorrectly. Whatever the reason, the glasses I have are not better than my current prescription glasses. Wasted my money. Will have to go to a brick and mortar and pay for a whole new set and hope for a better result. Would not recommend this service to anyone with more than a simple scrip. Maybe if I didn't have a bifocal it would be different.
I have had problems in the past with online lens. The lens were never correct with the focal point on the progressive lens. Lensabl is the only one that I have found that asked for a PD AND a measurement thatr places the focal point accurately on the lens in the actual frame being used. Makes a huge difference!
I had a wonderful experience with Lensabl. The process was simple, the turnaround time was super fast and the outcome was perfect. I got my glasses back yesterday and am very pleased with their work. I will definitely be using them again to get my new prescription into another pair of my favorite frames.
I had a little trouble with the website but with a few "chats" with customer service, I was able to work it out. The delivery took longer than expected, but I am totally happy with my glasses!
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.
Answer: They falsely boosted about putting new lenses in existing frames (in a very short turn around like a week) not the 8 months it's been
Answer: Once your frames arrive at our lab, assuming you've provided all required Rx information, lens production is 4-7 business days on average before shipping
Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
Answer: All prices are in USD ($) but we do ship to Canada as well :)
Answer: Yes all of our lenses are guaranteed or we will re-make them if any issues once you receive them back. Thanks!
