They made it EZ to mail my frames to them. And it was a fast turn around.
Unfortunately, I'm dispappointed with the lens I received (2 reading glasses, order #*******). When I was placing the order on Lensabl, I saw 2 types of reading glass orders - (A) the type of reading glasses seen in stores (basically, as I understand it, it is mostly for close-up reading), and (B) as I understand it, a reading glasses that is more versatile (eg, can also be used when viewing a desktop computer or laptop). #B is the type of both of the reading glasses that I sent you for this order, as this is what I wanted. I appear to have received the #A type of reading glasses. I'm having difficulty using the new glasses/lens as I type this message to you. Please clarify my understanding as appropriate and let me know if any questions. Thank you.
I am very pleased with my replacement lens. Definitely cheaper than buying a whole set of glasses or going to the dr office for glasses. Especially since I wear contacts most of the time but still need a pair of glasses.
Got my lenses in about two weeks around Christmas time with overnight shipping which is probably about right during that crazy time. The lenses are beautiful. The only problem is that the close vision correction is only in the very bottom of the lenses. No matter how high i wear my glasses on my nose i'm not used to having such a small range for close vision.
Was a little worried about using a mail in lens maker.
I am totally happy with the choice I made.

I ordered my first set of lenses from Lensabl and they were very thick. I contacted support and they indicated I need to re-order with the thinner lens. I placed a new order for another $100 and when I received the new lenses they were as thick as the first set I ordered! I contacted support again and they said they could not help me. I am very disappointed.

I purchased two prescription sunglasses on December 15th for overnight delivery, but they still showed "arrived at lab" December 16th after ordering them.
I reached out for cancellation and was told they only refund partial purchase cost and that ordering take 4-7 business days plus shipping. The homepage did not reflect the 4-7 day ordering timeline or the partial refund. The website specifically states "if we have not yet shipped the first box to you, we will cancel your order and refund your purchase."

I needed prescription lenses put into my new Bose Sunglasses that I received for Christmas. I went online and entered my prescription, and performed all necessary eye alignments. Finally received my replacement prescription sunglasses. The world looks much better now. I placed my order and requested that Lensabl send me a shipping box during the height of COVID Christmas shipping. I placed my order in mid-NOV2019, received the shipping box just before Christmas and didn't receive my glasses until 20JAN2021. The timing was poor but the sunglasses are exactly right in spite of all the shipping delays.
It took a little longer than expected to have my prescription sunglasses returned, but I emailed an inquiry about my sunglasses and immediately got an answer back. There was an issue with my lenses and they were not going to be mailed back until they are absolutely perfect! That they are! I wanted purple mirrored, polarized prescription lenses in wood and abalone frames. They are perfect! Thanks lensabl!
Overall, the lenses I received are great and they were fit into my frames very well. However, I think the prescription is slightly off on the lenses (and I will be contacting someone about it shortly). The process of taking correct pictures online for the measurements is very difficult. I feel like my pictures might be why my lenses are slightly off.
My glasses broke while I was temporarily living away from my home. I got a repair and the advice to get new glasses asap but there wasn't time to do that at an optical shop. I thought of Lensabl since I was a previous customer. I could order new glasses easily. I used the tool to try on frames. My prescription was on file.The glasses were waiting for me when I arrived home and my repaired glasses limped through til then. New glasses felt great when I put them on; they look good and give me perfect vision.
I ordered my glasses in January last year. The original order took 3 weeks longer than promised to deliver. I was in touch with them multiple times and they always made excuses and never really gave me straight answers. Customer service sucks because you cant call them. You have to email and it takes them days to get back to you and again its always just blaming someone else. I did pay for the extended warranty and had to use it. I had the same experience with the repair than I did with the original order. Took much longer than promised again with multiple date changes... If you have to order from them be prepared for it to take A LONG time! The lenses are good quality but if you dont have a decent second pair, you're going to be annoyed with all the date changes and broken promises!
It's hard to really summarize this neatly. There's a terrible pandemic and thousands of people are dying every day. The site says there are no delays. I paid for 2 day shipping. My glasses arrived at lensabl on December 17, and they came to me January 15. The site never updated as to how many days I had left, my package arrived somewhere I wasn't even though I let customer service know where I'd be and when, I was assured that because they shipped on January 8 that they'd make it to me on time since I had paid for 2 day shipping. They did not, they arrived on January 15. I absolutely should not have sent anything a week before the holidays, and that is entirely my fault. But I was given no answers, and there is no way I got the 2 day shipping I paid for if it was mailed on the 8th. This was my 4th time using lensabl and I've never had an experience before, and will need to find another way to get lenses for my glasses.
At first I was very excited about the prospect of only purchasing new lenses and not having to pay for new frames too. However, I just received my order and I'm quite disappointed with how it turned out. The lenses don't fit into the frame, leaving the overall product less than sturdy. Not sure if I would recommend this service to anyone else. If I had been informed that the lenses would not be fitting tightly into the frame, I would have paid for more expensive (and slimmer) lenses. Instead, I will have to contact customer service and attempt to have them re-done (if even possible...). It's clear that you really do get what you pay for..

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
