I just received glasses back (I only ordered new lenses in my frame) after 8 months of my contacting them every 2/3 weeks because their customer service was so inefficient. They lost my glasses and first said they sent them to the wrong person and when that didn't end up being true they had me do the research to find out all the sizing and brand where the frame was sold so they could replace them. But I never heard from them unless I wrote for updates and they didn't even send an apology for their mistake it was my main work glasses and I had to spend hundreds of dollars to get another pair for work, while they gave excuse after excuse and find said I could pick out one of their cheep plastic frames for free and they would put my $250 lenses in them. I was not taking their cheep lenses I wanted my metal frames replaced, that's when it became all about me giving them all the details ( from frames they had) so it was a huge project for me to get my old records as to the frames etc as the business I Purchased from earlier was closed due to Covid its resolved but not because of their service or good business practices
It took over 2 weeks to receive my lenses. The prescription for the new lenses are off, it is a bit blurry and makes me dizzy when I wear them. The lenses need to be adjusted

The whole process is very simple! However I think my eye doctor may have done my prescription incorrectly. Taking my glasses to the eye doctor find out what's wrong since I'm not able to see clearly.
I used Lensabl because they're the only one that's offering blue mirror transition xtractive lenses. I choose the poly version, since every one of my glasses use poly. I did have special requests, and expected that would take more time than usual to finish my relense. I sent in the frames, and basically, there's no communications between Lensabl and me, not when they received the frame, not when they started production, or when there's delay. Nothing, I had to email Ann every step of the way, to find out where they are. The supposed "real time" tracking function on the website is a joke, only updates after I inquired about the progress. After reading all the review, I accepted that's the way Lensabl does business. Finally the glasses arrived, my first surprise was how thick the lenses are, I used poly material for all my glasses, but these lenses are easily twice as thick as my other glasses. I put them on, must say they did an excellent job on getting the sight right, and the fashion statement this blue lenses made was outstanding. However, every one commented on how thick the lenses are as well. I emailed Ann again, asking if this is normal, she said a post production specialist will contact me, and make sure what I ordered was what I received. That was three days ago, and no one contacted me. So, in conclusion, slow service, thicker then usual lenses, and lack of real time tracking is the reason that I'm not going to recommend the service to any one else. It's really a pity thou, I really liked the new lenses, but due to the weight increase, I'm afraid I'll have to use my old pair in daily life.
Where to start? Lensabl has had my sunglasses ( Costa CE 059 - $300) since late July. Over that timeline, they have replaced the lens with the prescription I sent in and to which they did not pass their final inspection. Back to the beginning and try again I was told after inquiring twice as to why they were late in corresponding (mid August). No further communication with me until I reached out again in late August and early Sept. Was told glasses "still in lab." Same thing in mid Sept and late Sept to my inquiries. Fast forward to today (Sept 30th) and note I received last night..." frames separated from paperwork and having trouble locating"... in other words, they lost them! To their credit, they're offering to replace the frame, but no comment on lens. So back to commo 101 in my dealings with this company.
This has not been a good experience. My note to them on this whole transaction will be hard. See if it gets anywhere. I'm not optimistic based on their record of communication to date. Very disappointing.
My order was for lenses. I was stoked that the cost of $97 for polycarbonate was significantly cheaper than the $280 quoted by LC.
The online experience was relatively simple but could likely be improved a little. I missed submitting a pic for pupillary distance. Lensabl replied within 2 days of having my frames that this was needed, which took only a few minutes to submit. Easy.
My glasses came back and everything seems perfect. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is it took too long. Total time from receipt of my frames to the frames shipping was about 2.5 weeks. Following up to check on the order, Lensabl noted the first set of lenses failed inspection and were being recut. While they note this possibility on the website, why not get it right and solve for this? Inspect, yes. Make it a warning for slowing completion of the order? Meh.
I would definitely order again from Lensabl. If you're not in a hurry and can chance waiting, give them a go. If Lensabl can iron out their inspection process so it's not something a consumer even needs to hear about, and speed things up in the process, then the total experience would be an easy 5 stars.
Bought a new pair of Oakley frames sent to Lensabl for new prescription set they look and feel great they did it for a great price and let me know when the item was being shipping!

FROM START TO FINISH, AN EASY WAY TO ORDER LENS. I HAD A PAIR OF FOSTER GRANT SUNGLASSES THAT I WANTED AS MY PRECRIPTION WEAR. VERY EASY ACCURATE AND I CAN SEE BETTER THAN I HAVE IN A LONG TIME. A GREAT SAVINGS TOO!
I sent my frames with my (scratched) prescription lenses to Lensabl. They were able to take the prescription off my lenses and create new (unscratched) lenses. It took about 2 weeks for me to get my glasses back. The results seemed good.
However, when I put the glasses on, the right lens fell out of the frame! Yes, it fell out.
They said, "Go to your nearest optometrist and get them fixed." I chose to send the glasses back to Lensabl to have the problem corrected. It took 2 1/2 weeks.
Now, 6 weeks later, I need a backup pair of glasses made to the same prescription, so I used Lensabl again, but Lensabl says they no longer have my prescription. Is it possible that they threw it out after only 6 weeks?
They don't answer their messages and offer no help, so I don't know what the problem is. But I have already paid. I'm very worried that I will end up with neither my money nor my glasses.
FOLLOWUP - In the end, Lensable did contact me and did admit that they do indeed have my prescription. Just a quick response to my initial query and a more careful check of their records could have avoided a lot os stress for me and a bad review for them.
The company has the worst customer service of any online company I've ever dealt with, and I've dealt with plenty.
First, they have no access via phone at all, and because of the many problems with my order, when I asked (via email) for them to call me, the response was they didn't have the resources to discuss my $600+ order.
Also, my order was initially placed - and paid for - on July 23, but I just finally received the glasses yesterday, 60 days later.
And, each time I reached out via email to get updates on my order's status, when I would finally get an email reply, inevitably it was from a different "customer service" rep each time. This despite my specifically requesting one person take personal responsibility to handle my account as a point of contact (POC) within the company to ensure continuity because of the multiple difficulties with my order. My request was IGNORED.
And while their website has a "track my order" link, when clicking on it, when checked it always said "your order cannot be tracked'.
And to top it all, when after all this frustration I opened the package I was sent, although I ordered prescription bose sunglasses, of the two sets of lenses I got, only one is actually prescription, and despite being ordered, does not have the gradient sunglass effect I wanted.
Dealing with this company has been absolutely atrocious. Zero effective customer service, plus wrong product sent.
And now, BECAUSE of no CS, I have no recourse I'm confident in to to to to correct the incorrect order. BOO to this infantile, unprofessional, lousy company. They should be ashamed. Minus 1 stars.
Late Delivery - I was supposed to get the glasses the week of 8th February. It was postponed due to some quality check issues at Lensabl. The delivery was rescheduled to be for the 20th. Due to issues on the end of USPS, I got the specs only on the 28th or 29th.
When purchasing my lens replacement with Lensabl, I had high hopes. It looked like a great company, with great reviews, and people received their glasses quickly. However, it took a month to receive my glasses and the tracker on the website never moved, so being that you pay for this service ahead of time, and that they had a pair of designer frames in their hands, I was anxious to say the least that my glasses would never come. It was also frustrating that they do not have a phone number to reach a live person. Even the chat feature is just an email, and an agent doesn't reach back out for 1-2 days. And it states if you email more than once your request goes to the back of the line. After a few attempts, I did have an agent explain the lenses failed the first quality check, so they had to redo them, but again, that would be helpful if I received notification regarding the issue. A little communication goes a long way.
I received my glasses a month later, and they appear to be the right prescription, but I would like to have them tested to be sure. I also got the blue light coating, which has a blue tint to it that I wasn't expecting, as other blue light glasses I have do not. However, at this point I am just glad to have my glasses back. Will I use this service again? No. I think this company has a lot of potential, but they need to figure our their customer communication workflow, and fix the bugs on their website to truly have a customer trust this company.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!

In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all.
