I have been waiting for over two months for the return of my glasses. When I go to my account portal to determine the status, it says it is awaiting shipping. It has been in this status for over three weeks now. If they're ready to ship, why don't you just ship them Lensabl? I called customer service and spoke to Tony, who said the glasses were being shipped out two days ago. He gave me a tracking number for USPS, but when I enter it, it says it is an invalid number. I don't believe I will ever see my Ray bans again. I would recommend you stay away from this company!
Purchased 18 Aug of this year. Received when I got back from being out of the country end of September. Attempted to get warranty done but I'd have to send them into Colorado. So no glasses for who knows how long. So I decided not to send them out. At least I had my old glasses to use. I don't have those anymore as they were now a different prescription and didn't need them. So don't buy insurance unless you are willing to send off your glasses. If not, then get them locally. At least you'll have your glasses while they make you a new lens.
I have ordered twice from Lensabl and never will again. The first time, the order took over two months and they gave me a partial refund. The second time was even worse. The order was late but they made grey lenses though I ordered red (sports lenses for cycling). They also failed to fix the cracks in the first set of lenses and just returned them in the box loose without any wrapping. Needless to say, this is not a company I will do business with again and neither should you!
Attention to detail and good communication. Let me know how the process was going throughout the order of prescription lenses in my own frame.

I loved by new Lensabl lenses, but was really annoyed with myself when I dropping them on the ground and scratching one of the lenses. I was super impressed when I discovered that Lensabl purchases include a protection plan that offers free replacement if you damage the lens within 3 months of receipt. I just got the replaced lenses back, they're great, and they've made me an even happier customer - thank you!
I made the mistake of sending my Cartier frames to Lensabl. I checked right after the tracking site showed a delivered status and reached out to them. Got a response 3 days later that the frames were LOST. After multiple emails and threatening legal action they were magically found. I kept checking on the status of the order and got an email today that they BROKE the frames while adding lenses. Never in 30 years of wearing glasses have I had a company break frames. I will be pursuing legal action if my frames are not replaced but please avoid this company at all costs.

Such great service! Honestly I'm one really happy customer and I want to share my experience with everyone. I didn't even know it was possible to get prescription sunglasses but they did it! And the whole experience was effortless and at the end of the day I also saved almost $150 off of the price that my local store quoted me and the quality is exceptional! I ordered the Bose Sopranos as a surprise gift for my daughter. They were perfect, the prescription, the fit, and the transition lens in Amethyst. I had some issues along the way but the Ann, the online support assisted me with every question and issue that I had in the most timely fashion! I would order again from Lensabl! The glasses are fine, but the creation and delivery processes were very slow. Communication is extremely lacking, and I had to send emails and wait days for a response rather than Lensabl proactively communicating lab delays and adjusted delivery dates. To wit, my glasses were stuck in "will be delivered in about 6 business days" status for more than a month. Then, when they were finally done, they lingered in "waiting to be shipped" status for more than a day despite the fact that I paid for express shipping.
Took a little longer than I expected to receive the new lenses in my glasses. I also wished I would have went with a higher index lens, lenses bug out of the frames I sent in. Not really their issue since I didn't pick the appropriate lens, just wish the prompts would have forced me to look at them based on my prescription - or a rep would have caught it along the way and brought to my attention. I would have totally paid the extra if I would have known how goofy they were going to look.
I've now tried using Lensabl four times, and each time the product they deliver gets worse. The progressive eyeglasses and sunglasses I ordered took nearly six weeks from the time they were received by Lensabl until delivery. And this was only after I had to email them several times to follow up. The eyeglasses prescription is off, and the polarized sunglasses, while the prescription is better than the eyeglasses, there are several dark dots on both lenses. These were Ray Ban polarized lenses originally, and unfortunately now I am stuck with a defective product.
I ended up paying out of pocket to have the damaged lens replaced, and the new lens they sent me is smaller than the old one and doesn't fit snugly in the frame. I believe that the test frames they are using must be a smaller size than the ones i own, but when i offered to send in my frames so they could confirm for themselves, their response was that the lens has been made correctly and that i must not be installing it correctly. They then "offered" to install the lens "correctly" for me, for an additional fee of course. It also takes them at least a week to respond to emails, and as such this back-and-forth has been going on for a month. I am completely done with this company and will be taking my business elsewhere.
I purchased a pair of $200 lenses less than a year ago, and i made sure to pay extra for a 12 month extended warranty just in case the lenses got scratched or damaged. Recently the lenses did end up getting scratched, but the company has refused to replace them as the warranty only covers "scratches made during normal use" and does *not* cover damage caused by impacts, abrasions, or improper care (i. E. the only things that could possibly cause damage to lenses). Basically, unless the scratches magically appeared out of nowhere for no discernible reason whatsoever, the extended warranty will not cover the damage. Had i known that the warranty specifically excluded every possible cause of lens damage, i obviously would not have purchased it to begin with and would have likely bought the lenses from a different company altogether.
I love being able the reuse frames that I like but the turnaround time was not I expected. It was 2 to 3 weeks with no system updates when I logged in to check my order. An email to customer service got things moving again but it seems my order was forgotten or at least the computer tracking portion.
I am very excited to have my glasses back with my updated prescription in them! This service was so much more cost efficient than what my optometry option had quoted me. I will definitely be using again!
My experience with the glasses themselves was good... but they kept my custom glasses case and sent back a huge, unwieldy case branded with their name. I am so disappointed and want my own case back! How are people supposed to be able to safely send frames for lens replacement if not by including their protective case? The company needs to be up front about this... very disappointed.
I am happy way beyond my expectations. Not only was this so much less expensive than other options, the immediate clarity of my lenses... well, they were perfect, even better than my original prescription fulfillment. I especially loved the option for non-smudge, dust and fog resistant, blue ray protection! And they were fast and mad the process SO easy! I will never shop anywhere else for my lenses.
I needed to have new prescription lenses only sent to me since I didn't have a backup pair of glasses to send.
I provided the information for my Oakley frames and they did a great job with the new lenses.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
