Sending the glasses in was the easy part. It took two weeks to process the order. Thats a long time to be waiting for glasses.
I received them and the glasses are out of focus, and need to be redone. I'm being patient but after reading the fine print, they are not going to refund my money if there is a problem, so it looks like I'm in it for the long haul with Lensabl.
No verification # or code provided on the return so I just sent them back hoping they get them. Have the post office receipt is all.
Hope they get it right with the second pair. Patiently waiting... probably another two weeks.
My new lenses look good and work great. The product delivered is good quality but, it is not worth what you have to go through to receive it. From start to finish, my glasses (I provided the frames) took over 35+ days to be completed. I attempted to contact their customer service a total of 8 times before they got to me, this was already 20 days into my order. When someone finally did contact me, it was by email and let me know they found ‘defects' and would need more time. They continued to give me the run around and never responded to my requests for money back or to cancel the order. My glasses showed up over a month later and I still haven't heard from anyone at the company. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else.
I sent a pair of glass in February to have progressives over contacts made. They were made incorrectly - prescription added when I explicitly said no prescription. Contacted customer service and sent them back. They were made incorrectly again. They took three months for Lensabl to make the same mistake twice. This company is not operationally competent and is spending all of their money on marketing. The idea is good, but the execution is very, very flawed. I'd stay as far away as possible from them.
I ordered new prescription lenses for my existing RayBan Justin frames. I ordered the darkest brown option. I received a extremely light tint in rose color. Lenses light enough they are near clear. Reached out to support, answered questions and sent pictures. No updates, no response. Silence. I have reached out again multiple times and still no response. I paid good money for glasses that I can't use and Lensabl does not seem to want to stand by their service.
Please be aware before placing an order with Lensabl. I received confirmation my frames were received on January 7 and did not receive part my order until February 22. I am still missing an entire pair of glasses and no one has any idea what happened. I requested a refund after waiting over a month and a half, I was disconnected from customer service and all of a sudden received a shipping confirmation. When I received part of my order, there was an obvious quality issue, it seems as the lab rushed to fill my prescription to avoid a refund…and still I do not have my entire order. Be careful before purchasing from a company where you are not able to speak to someone directly over the phone; I have been passed from person to person, manager to manager through email and chat and am still fighting this. The company will not offer a refund for an order that was not filled and/or has a quality issue. Be careful with this company.

My experience with by bi-focals was excellent. I also replaced my single lense sunglasses. I am now in the process of updating a second pair of sunglasses. Also had my wife's glasses updated.
This company claims a 1-2 week turnaround. I've ordered twice now, and the shorter return time was 5 1/2 weeks.
The second time I ordered lenses, the case was not returned and the frames came back completely warped - no longer stay on my face. Absolutely horrible customer service on top.

Took a really long time and the lenses are not straight. The bifocals have a line on then that are not level. Looks horrible. Already sent a note to customer service. Takes a week to get a response. Why don't you guys have a phone number. Call me. Please. This is ridiculous. I paid you close to 300 bucks for useless lenses. Take a look at the photo. You can see how crooked they are.

The experience of ordering the glasses online was very easy. The wait time to get the glasses was fairly long but I'm happy with the frames. The one lens came with a scuff on it, customer service would like me to send them back to be looked at but at this point I don't want to be out another month with no glasses.
I sent in a pair of sunglasses for lens replacement since I no longer need glasses for distance only for reading. I ordered a progressive pair as per my doctor. That is not what I received. Yo even be able to read anything I would have to tilt my head all the way back or keep them down at the tip of my nose. Very badly done.
I researched MANY websites and local doctors before placing my order. I am so glad I did and arrived at Lensabl. I sent in frames I bought online and they gave me awesome progressive transition lenses that are purple like my frames. They ran into a snag while making my lenses and chose to start over to make me an entirely new set and let me know promptly what happened and why my order was delayed for a short time. Highly recommend and I'm going to order another pair!
I am giving Lensabl 1 out of 5 stars because they have gotten only 1 out of my 5 orders correct. They usually forget to put AR coating on both sides of the lenses, even when I write it down. I had to ship back one pair of frames three times because they kept forgetting to put AR coating on the outside so eventually we settled on them just shipping me the lenses and I would install them on my own, but by then my frames had already been bent out of shape from replacing lenses so many times.
They offered me complimentary lens polishing once but evidently they forgot to polish one lens so I have two lenses of different edge thicknesses in one pair of glasses. They got my latest order wrong and refuse to offer a refund, which is unacceptable.
I switched to Lensabl from Replacement Lens Express since Lensabl is slightly cheaper. However, it seems that I will now be switching back due to the constant errors with my orders.
The lenses replacement service is good but it is super slow. It took more than 3 weeks to get the sunglasses back to me once I sent it. The prices are affordable but it comes with slow service. Also, the website doesn't update the status of the order until the final steps.

The ordering process and communication with this company was good. However, much to my dismay, my frames were damaged. The left earpiece was pushed outward by 15 to 20 degrees. My husband, who builds small models and has experience with these things, was able to take the frame apart, bend it back the way it should be, and put them back together. They still don't sit perfectly, and with a strong astigmatism and progressive lenses, that is challenging. Customer service sent me a new mailing label to send them back, but since they are my glasses, and are imperative to my livelihood, I had my husband adjust them to my satisfaction instead. I am very lucky that I had this option or I would have been without my glasses for an additional two weeks.
I'm completely satisfied with Lensabl. The lenses were perfectly crafted. Unfortunately I was frustrated with the return shipping. USPS promised my package by end of the day Friday. It didn't arrive until Monday. Lensabl should use a more reliable shipper to return the finished eyeglasses.

I've been waiting 5 weeks for prescription sunglasses. NO communication (other than marketing). At 4 weeks I told them if they can't get them to me within a week to cancel my order. They said sure, but we'll only refund $60 for frames, not the $160 for lenses because "they're already in production". 5 weeks now, no communication, no glasses, no refund. AVOID this scam operation.
I'm not pleased with this service. It took over a month to get my order. The customer service was sporty at first. I started receiving responses to my concerns late in the process. I will not be using this service again. Too pricey for the inconvenience. I have several exchanges with Ann and each time I was told that my order would take a few more days. This happened at least 3 times. They were nice enough to upgrade my shipping to overnight. But never again.
One of my lenses arrived not fully mounted in the frames and the temples of my frames were stretched over 2.5 cm. After sending them back, Lensabl fixed the lens issue, but my frames are so stretched out that I have to go to a local optometrist and pay to have them re-formed. Never again.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
