I ordered bi focal lenses but what I got was the entire lens was at 2.75. Unusable
Here's what Lensabl did.
I paid for a pair of prescription sunglass lenses and a pair of prescription eyeglass lenses. I then sent in a pair of sunglasses with its demo lenses and a pair of eyeglasses with its demo lenses. Lensabl, for whatever reason, put the sunglass lenses in my eyeglass frames and the clear lenses in my sunglasses frames. I... am shocked... I figured a lens replacement company would be able to figure out that the sunglass lenses go in the sunglasses and the eyeglass lenses go in the eyeglass frames. I took a picture of this mistake, but can't attach it here. I will revise this review after they respond to my email detailing their mistake.
First, this order took 5 business days on a ready to ship status to be returned to me. This was after an email for concern had already been sent out.
Second, I paid for the highest index frames 1.74, all the bells and whistles minus their warranty or polished edges. Why not pay for polished edges? Why would I? The edges are supposed to be barely visible, if any on this high of an index option.
Third, they broke my frame and still didn't even put the lense all the way in for my left side.
Fourth, the glasses came back to me and as soon as I looked at them I could tell they were mishandled so badly that they didn't sit close to even on my face.
I should have listened to the reviews and avoided this place. I sent them Versace frames and they treated them as though they were dollar store spectacles.

I had read reviews that were not so great, but since I was getting stoggles and got a discount for lensabl I thought I would give it try. Got them, and I love them. Excellent quality and nicely put together. Beautiful packaging. Just an overall great experience. When I asked questions, I got appropriate replies in a decent timeframe. It really did not take that long to get my glasses, and honestly, the last time I got glasses from America's best it took almost 2 weeks for them to come in, so comparable timing.
I love the sun glasses, but it took too long to get them.

No damage to frames. All intact with great case and cloth/spray.

I ordered Lensabl's standard progressive lenses (Essilor), polycarbonate, with standard AR coating. I have been wearing these replacement lenses for almost three weeks now and I am less than 100% satisfied with this purchase. I use these glasses primarily for computer and distance vision. It's somewhat difficult to get objects to come into focus. These lenses require more "head movement" than my previous progressive lenses required in order to get objects to come into focus. Even when looking at the computer screen, I find I have to move my head from left to right when reading across the screen to keep words in focus, rather than just move my eyes. It's like the area of the lens in which objects come into focus is very narrow. They work well enough, however. I just have to get used to the differences between these and my old progressive lenses.
The lense look and feel great. They have abit of a fish bowl effect, but just low enough not to reject them completly. "If" ther is a next time, if lensables needs additional information. It would be great if lensables let the customer know immedietly through email that they need "said info". I didnt know lensables needed the center of the eye dimensions according to the lens fit. I had to log in to their website and make an account to see what was taking so long. Hello and behold, they needed info. They allredy had the customers information when you buy the lense and add the prescription. It took a total of two weeks. Add the week for the glasses frame to begin with. It equals an unexpected length of time.
This is why I go to same day glasses offices. But they dont do lenses for outside glasses frame that isnt theirs.

Lenses were delayed due to a defect, but when they finally arrived they still had a defect. The left lens has some crazing (hairline fractures) throughout. I would return them for another lens but this is the second time I've had this issue with Lensabl.
Affordable and transparent service. I live in Canada and I have really high prescription number so I am thoroughly impressed by the fact that my lenses came in time and intact.
I had to send my frames in so I was a little weary at first because I hadn't communicated at all over the phone. My shipping address was incorrect but with one email that was fixed! Through the whole time the minute i emailed them abt anything at all that i was worried abt or i needed information they were able to respond and make me feel okay, i got my contacts before my glasses and my glasses are perfect! Easy to navigate and send in however once recieved it said they were 6 days away for two weeks. Then I got a message that they failed quality and it would be another 5 days. Total process was about a month. That's too long
So happy I've found a place that replaces lenses for you in existing frames! Got a pair of stoggles for work, but need a prescription & price point is good.

Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
