Starting the process was easy but then, it turned a corner. I sent three emails requesting a reset of a password via your automated website. Though the fine print says the response time could take 24/48 hours, I am not sure how or why that would be acceptable to your customers. There is no ability to instantly chat with your customer service team. The company clearly doesn't want your customers calling your customer service department because you don't make it readily available on your website. To me, as a Sr. Customer Service/Escalation Manager, customer service is key and exceptional customer service drives repeat business. Well... that, along with quality. Lets get to quality. I am disappointed to say after all of this, my glasses arrived broken. I sent two emails last night to your company and I have provided two photos.

I sent in some frames to have lenses put in them. The process was simple enough. I paid to have a box with tracking and insurance sent to me. When it arrived I packaged my frames per the instructions and sent them off. They made it back to me with a turn around time of just over a week. I couldn't be happier with the results.
I placed an order April 16th for two pair of progressive lenses totaling 950.00. In late May the company reached out to tell me they lost my frames. A week later they found 1 frame. How can you lose a frame when they both were sent together? Then they said my glasses would be ready in a 4 days. 2 weeks later I get notification they are sending them back to me. As an apology they gave me 25.00 off. WHAT? 25.00 off a 475.00 pair of lenses embarrassing.

Fairly easy to order. Had a few glitches with the web site but overall it was a simple process. It did take about 4 weeks to get my progressive lenses back but I couldn't be happier. I love them at work! They are perfect.

Lensabl did! I had questions; they were answered. I wanted two pair of computer glasses. Sent in the first frames, got the new ones. Sent in the second pair, got the new ones. Needed a little customer service help. It was responsive and very friendly and the end result was perfect. Both of the new glasses are perfect. I'm wearing them as I type.
I previously ordered lenses through the company 2 years ago and had a good experience, so I thought I'd go through Lensabl again for a new pair of glasses. This time, my overall experience was disappointing. I ordered glasses and approximately 2 weeks later (without an update) checked the site to see that there was an issue during QC and my glasses would be rushed and expected to ship in 5 business days. I contacted customer service to see if I could just cancel the order since I was able to get glasses from another vendor (also online) in less time. I couldn't cancel the order, which I understood and was fine with since the glasses were supposedly being worked on. I routinely checked back on my order and the status did not change, continually saying expected shipment within 5 business days. I contacted customer service again and honestly I was not pleased with the tone of the email response (it had been 4 weeks since I placed my order and I felt I was being blamed for the delay). I was however told that my shipping would be expedited. I finally received my glasses 5 weeks after ordering them. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is that the glasses were of better quality and fit than I expected.
I need to replace the lenses in my sunglasses and based on this experience, I'm going to try another vendor before going back to Lensabl.

The part of the experience I didn't enjoy was being kept in the dark for so long. I regularly checked the website to see if there was an update on my order. "Arrived at facility." is the status I saw for multiple weeks. It was only after an extended amount of time did I see their status update to "Shipping to you," without having seen an update for the steps before that.
The process also took a considerable amount of time. I am glad I got an emergency pair of glasses because I would've been inoperable for at least a month.

First off, the glasses themselves are fine and I like them more than my previous pair. But as far as the rest of things go with Lensabl... I placed the order. The status for the next month was "arrived at the lab, working on it." Being that my wife works for a local vision clinic, I know the shaping/testing of the lenses takes less than a day. So I contact support to figure out why this is taking a long time and am told it's because I got mirrored transitions. My best guess is either Lensabl's lens distributor is really slow or my order just got sat on for a bit. Either way, the only official contact I got from Lensabl wasn't even that my glasses had shipped but that they had been delivered. And brilliantly, they delivered them to my billing address instead of my shipping address? I signed into my account to verify. Shipping address is indeed correctly an entirely different town than my billing address, but yet another delay while I had to then go get the glasses.
I have had lenses done once before, and it was a very good experience. This last time - not so much. First, it took what seemed to me to be an inordinately long time, once my frames were received, to make the lenses. That said, when I finally got them, they were wrong. I don't know if it was the pictures I sent, or what, but the bifocal section was basically in the middle of the lens which could not be the way it was intended. It took several rounds of additional pictures and comments before I was told to return the glasses for correction. Then, again, considering mine was a do-over, it took too long in my view. And the website for my order was never updated the second time. When I received them back again, the lenses are correct, with the bifocal section at the bottom as it should be... but the frames are twisted and kind of bent. But, I'm not going to return them again - just too much trouble.
Was so shocked and disappointed with what I received from Lensabl.com I ordered lenses for my Bose Frames Tempo because Bose.com has a Lensabl link on their site. I trust Bose that is why I ordered on Lensabl.com Within 2 week time I received the disgustingly cut lenses absolutely not fit for Bose Frames. I tried other changeable lenses for Bose Frames and all of them was ok but not lenses from Lensabl.com What else, I ordered non-prescription lenses but having looked through lenses I became suspicious and visited a local optician to exam them. The lenses exam pictures attached below. No any envelop proving that I received what I ordered! Not envelop proving that these Transition Xtractive lenses Essilor made. Lensabl roposed me to remake lenses. A remake means new lenses from the new lens material, not fixing faulty ones. If a remake then I would agree if you make me new lenses for a new frame. That was Lensabl.com fault. And they proposed to remake lenses for the same frame. No! I don't need lenses for Bose Frames anymore! If you don't remake new lenses from new lenses material I will not accept it! I am going to send back your faulty lenses paying for return and I want a full refund! Not a refund I will go through the PayPal resolution centre! I have never thought that a company linked to Bose.com would make this disgusting quality product and what is more even does nothing to get excuse!
It was amazing. I got everything I needed at literally more than half the price of what I would get elsewhere. My old insurance does not compare to this one so not only am I getting a premium quality insurance but they also provide a lot of other services that are important to me. So many benefits that I will forever be a Lensabl customer for life. The company that helps you for you and not just for your money. I love my new bose tenor frames with prescription, the added lense features are spectacular. I got what I wanted and got what I needed for my eyes.
The ordering process and communication with this company was good. However, much to my dismay, my frames were damaged. The left earpiece was pushed outward by 15 to 20 degrees. My husband, who builds small models and has experience with these things, was able to take the frame apart, bend it back the way it should be, and put them back together. They still don't sit perfectly, and with a strong astigmatism and progressive lenses, that is challenging. Customer service sent me a new mailing label to send them back, but since they are my glasses, and are imperative to my livelihood, I had my husband adjust them to my satisfaction instead. I am very lucky that I had this option or I would have been without my glasses for an additional two weeks.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
