Utterly disappointed with my recent order. Seller fails to fulfil my order and cancel without explanation or any reason. Lazada's customer service suck to the core, they provide empty promises that my order will be delivered and kept me waiting, and just waiting for my order to be cancelled in the end. Be warned if you are ever making any purchases from Lazada, it could be your worst nightmare.
Happily bought an item on discount from LAZADA.sg and end up cancelled by them giving the reason that "system error". Perhaps the discount is wrongly advertised.
So will customer able to trust any discounted items advertise with LAZADA.sg? This is like lucky draw. With luck you buy it with discount else. Unlucky and wait for refund and check with the bank end of the month to confirm the refund and bank admin cancellation charges if is any.
Latest delivery date passed. Contacted seller and was informed item was delivered to Lazada and that they have informed Lazada to expedite the delivery to me. Received an email from Lazada stating that there will be a delay for up to two weeks after which my order will be cancelled for a refund. Either seller or Lazada is not telling the truth. First time using Lazada and probably my last time.

Month now, i have been contacting them thru email, txt etc buy they said they are still working on a solution. 1 month already? Replies in emails are repetitive, scripted, copy paste, this has caused me a great amount of stress already, my items worth is near 200$ thats why i am trying very hard to recover. What can a customer do? How long should I wait?
Lazada is fine but it allows sellers to deceive customers. I recently bought some Gillete razors. It was clear that these razors were in fact used razors that had been cleaned up. This is not right and the seller should be struck off. I recently also tried to buy a diffuser. I was sent a filter. The seller said that was what I paid for when clearly a diffuser was advertised. There must be rules and regulations to monitors sellers.
I had informed Lazada regarding a number of billings on my credit card which were not reflected in "My Last Order" account history. Lazada's account history is a worst e-commerce nightmare. Their out sourced customer service were a frustrating lot, cant be bothered to understand issue and kept sending generic replies. Going down to their empty office is equally hopeless, lone receptionist said everyone is WFH and will call back. They are not proactive in assisting non complex enquiry for billing details, as such I let the police handle them.
They have introduced "Liveup" and activated this yearly membership without even asking customer. I never knew until the money was deducted from my credit card. Horrible experience and hope they refund it.
My order status says item already delivered but I haven't received anything yet.
Its 3rd day since I registered the online complaint with Lazada but so far no one has contacted me, also they don't have any customer care contact no / email id.
Absolutely no way for me to know what is happening. No clue if I will get back my money or item will come at a later point of time...
Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!
Signed up for 60 days free trial for liveteam where mentioned that can cancel anytime without charges. End up charged to pay even though I cancel it in a month!
Returned a $749 item back in 7 Aug. Got an email that refund was completed on the 10 Aug and today is 21 Sept and the refund still not reflecting on my account. Lazada was claiming they processed but DBS said no refund was made. I was robbed $749 by Lazada and I don't know if i will ever get my money back! They have both the item and my money! I'm so furious! Don't ever purchase from them!
Lazada.sg. Cheater! They remove if your reviews are negative about their sellers!.
As well if you order and cancel it immediately within a minute also they are charging half of the amount!.

I returned a defective external drive 5 weeks ago. Customer service kept giving the excuse that there is a huge backlog of returns to be evaluated. Hence, the delay in processing mine. When I submitted an email enquiry on my returned item a while ago, I received an email saying the case is closed. This high handed action amounts to a rip-off in my opinion!
Poor finance team, esp the CFO... total lack of accountability.
I love to shop at Lazada as their website is easy to manoeuvre... BUT their payments policy/process is crap. I have had risk scanning issues for 7 times over the past 7 months and have had to submit the same pictures of my credit cards and statements every time to their finance department... whereby the finance team will take as long as as 3-4 weeks to resolve. Asked to speak to their CEO or compliance officers many times but requests were totally ignored. This is really horrendous for a platform that should make ease of payment a priority as people usually spend more than an hour browsing before deciding what to buy. And I shop for my groceries on RedMart once a week at the minimum!
This is what happened:-
- Ordered 1 macbook hard case and 1 macbook screen protector.
- Lazada not only delivered me the same item 4 times, they also charged my card 4 times
- Been following up with their customer service for over 2 months, and still no resolution to the problem.
In short- unable to get back my money.
Keep sending failed to pickup with no valid reason. Yet Lazada ignore our feedback & continue to let their pickup agent to do so without getting warning.

Made an order with 2 items but free shipping was not applied so customer service advice to cancel and reorder items separately. When I reordered, my first promo code was not allowed as system did not recognized it was canceled and said it had been used. And now I just found out they only refunded $13 when the order was $69. Total nightmare dealing with customer service, and when they can't solve the problem they go cold and quiet! I still have not heard or seen my refund. Do not buy from this site unless you want to lose your money!
Lazada has given me mixed feelings about online shopping. The experience with lazada is not safe and should not be trusted. For future online shopping, I will definitely steer away from this platform. My story goes as follows. I placed an order for a monitor which i urgently needed during Covid19 circuit breaker. However, after many weeks of patiently waiting, and attempts to reach customer service, my order never arrived. Customer service was not helpful, was difficult to reach, never offered a solution and kept talking in circles. Instead of offering a concrete solution, they kept apologizing for the their malpractices. At the end, they forced a refund upon me, just to brush me off their shoulders. Their practices are totally customer unfriendly! Beware!
The shopping experience was not bad but if you sign up for a LiveUp membership, make sure to cancel the automatic renewal, because they keep charging your credit card otherwise. I was surprised to see a nearly $60 charge on my card from Lazada, even though we don't even live in Singapore anymore. Turns out it's the automatic renewal, which they don't warn you about. I would say not great customer service, for that reason.
Recently, I bought a wall clock thru Lazada. Vendor said that the delivery could be delayed because of cny holidays but they will send a free gifts first. Unfortunately, the clock did not arrive and sms sent to vendor retailer unreplied. Unlike my experience with Amazon, lazada offered offered no assurance and solution to the non delivery. Thankfully, the purchase price is relatively inexpensive.
Lazada engages the use of a logistics service provider called Ninja Van. This vendor is totally unreliable and all items ordered are horrendously delayed. To add insult to injury, Ninja Van's customer service is non existent.
Where does this leave the customer? Non receipt of goods promised within a stipulated time and very frustrated, angry and pissed off.
For the information of all, I ordered GROCERIES and it was delivered 2 weeks late! I shan't go into the specifics but can you imagine the state of my groceries?
Until Lazada changes their delivery vendor from Ninja Van to whoever, I would suggest the use of other online portals that use the services of other logistics companies besides Ninja Van.
