System will cancel order anytime after more than a week of ordered and payment done. They can give any reason example "prohibited item" while many of that items and similar items from same or different sellers are still available for ordering after long time.
There's no hotline to deal with problems. You just have to fill in a form, but if that's not bad enough - the submit button on the form doesn't work.
Tracking system is meaningless - does not tell you what specific day your item will arrive
Service is good, delivery is fast, good pricing, return refund processes is also allowed. Overall I think this is the best marketplace for shoppers who prefers fast delivery option and quality product services.
If you are ordering small value item which not required warranty, you are fine with lazada.
Lazada.sg is another type of fraudulence. Be careful when you are buying from Lazada about warranty. They never honor warranty even the product is defective. They keep on dragging my refund after they receive returned faulty item. They wont notify what so ever when the received returned item. It's funny that Lazada said they are ready to face Amazon.

Skip Lazada for small, popular items. My order for a popular hair item was suspected pilferaged within NinjaVan. It was supposed to be delivered by 12 October but NinjaVan did not bother to revert despite my repeated requests until Lazada approached them this week. It appears NinjaVan does not measure its Delivery performance so need not account for lateness.
To make matters worse, Lazada's promise of refund never materialise. Instead continue to ask me to be patient with them to wait for NinjaVan investigation. Wonder what kind of SLA Lazada forge with NinjaVan. What is the KPI for NinjaVan?
Very disappointed with both as one such last mile defect is one too many. This shopping experience is a total flop in terms of customer time, efforts and monies.
Products are good for the price paid for and service treatment has been fair on most occasions. Some blips can be overlooked at times, but some of their staff do really assist.
My overall experience with Lazada has been positive. I have been shopping on their platform since April 2020. Out of the 65 items i ordered since then, only 1 item was not delivered, which later Lazada refunded me for it. The items are mostly delivered within the scheduled time frame. I personally preferred their delivery partner, Ninja Van for their responsiveness. The return process is almost seamless. Best to check and reject an item upon delivery, for better chances of refund. However, I urge Lazada to improve on their customer service. The automatic response system can be frustrating. We prefer human to human communication. A customer service hotline would be great :)
Lazada sent me a link to provide evidence for appeal but the link cannot be opened despite notifying them thru many ways. On the day of date line, they emailed me n stated closed case because I did not respond. Their external customers support sys sounded extremely help n promised many things but nothing were true. The product I bought did not meet my requirement, delayed delivery n box was torn. They rejected my appeal without reason. Given their care-less attitude, no wonder the customers' data were stolen. Do not be get into my situation. Do not patronise Lazada.
On a few items that i wanted to buy, it shows as free shipping for standard delivery (usually at $2.99) proceeded to checkout and alas, its not free. Tried on mobile, tried on laptop and desktop, all showed the same free standard shipping on the product page. Brought the matter up to customer service with screenshots, i get the repeated reply that they don't see it as how i do. Told them its a waste of my time shopping on their site and asked if they can honour the free standard shipping as stated. Reply is no. Always no, always deny there's a problem.
I did manage to buy a few other items successfully and now have 2 loyalty vouchers to use, $5 vouchers only. Guess what, both can't be used. Website says its "fully redeemed for the day". Loyalty vouchers are exclusive to me right? What a load of crap this website.
I am still recovering from the shock of the day when an agent called me back in not the most polite manner and questioning me why I gave a Low rating. Is that how we need to be challenged? Almost out to kill tone?
Lazada customer service is the wrost among all e commerce. I bought some items but when I check the delivery status, it was stated as 'cancelled' and 'refunded'. Lazada did not inform me or alert me on this. However, I have not gotten my money back after few weeks. I made several calls to ask about the refund, the customer services keep pushing around and placed the blame for the fault of system. My money could be gone and please be careful when making of purchase from Lazada.
You have invested billion here. Please be aware that Lazada is way far from your Taobao/Tmall. Example:
If put in a bad comment of a product, it will go to moderation and never make its way to the product review. Therefore u will see all products has good review.
I am a fan of Taobao/Tmall where we don't have such restriction.
I returned a broken item one month ago but still waiting for the refund. I raised my case to the customer service. The first one told me to wait for 24 to 48hours for further update but did not hear from them after 5 days. Then I contacted them again. They even said there is nothing related with Lazada but only the courier company. I was asked to keep on checking the app for the updated. They don't give help and even have any way to make a complaint. If something goes wrong with your order, it is impossible to get any help but only lose your money. I shopped via Lazada because I trusted it. Now I learnt from this bad experience.

Just got 3 watches from Lazada at low price but well below expectation.
1. Misleading picture of watch.
The watch came with two holes (design) on the band but the pic didn't show any.
I will never even wear the watch
2. Lousy quality.
Try to wear on the other two watches. Need to pull extremely hard to tighten
When try to remove the pin just refuse to come out.

I placed an order on Jun 8. Delivery was promised between 19-21, as verified by the so-called tracking system which is a laughable appendix to the wholly useless site. By the due delivery date, I wrote 3 messages asking for status updates - none of my messages were read let alone responded to. I asked the customer service, who nonchalantly ask me to cancel the order as if failure to respond to customer is part of their DNA.
Have had three separate missing deliveries for things purchased from Lazada. Customer service was poor; Lazada did not respond to requests for help.
Yes, items on Lazada might be cheaper, but buying through Lazada is too painful. I'm better off shopping elsewhere, somewhere with great customer service and reliable deliveries.
I have been using this platform for a few years. Generally, I was satisfied that Lazada accepted returns & refunds without questions asked when the purchase was not suitable.
Recently I note a number of crooks selling on Lazada and for the first time the platform accepted a return but REJECTED IT.
At the moment, they are holding the goods I don't want/need and refuse to refund.
For an amount of almost S$100 I don't think this platform is credible.
Moreover, together with their dropping rates THEY REFUSE TO DISCUSS WITH THE BUYERS. Instead, they stand by the seller who, consequently, do pretty much what they want.

Bad company May I know what action can we as consumer takes if Lazada continues to delay refund. I have returned my item a month ago and no refund has been initiated. The reply from customer service is that they are under system upgrade. But it has been a month passed and I still have not get my refund. I have emailed them to ask when can I receive the refund and provide me with some info when the system is up and guess what... no reply. Is the company trying to scam us?
I could not make a purchase on their website, because a payment method cannot be added. Cannot pay by paylah because there is no QR code. Tried to check-out/purchase using different browsers - did not work. Took me a few tries on their app. I think I kept trying because it was the weekend, and I was feeling 'kindly'. On any other day, I would have given up, and used amazon instead?
