I've search for a sell item in Lazada during their 11/11 revolution sale. I came across a 2tb WD My Passport external drive for only 3390. It's a whopping 45% discount. I was also able to use my voucher discount given on that day. It's 2:30 a.m. of 11/11, so I was confident that I succeeded in grabbing this supersale item. The following morning I received a text from Lazada that they received my order and is verifying the purchase confirmation. I told myself, Naka-jackpot ako. Everyday, I track my order and it states that it is processing my order. My shock came on 11/14 when upon tracking my order. The page has declined my purchase without stating the reason. I've called up customer service and they told me that it was cancelled because of "price error". Kasalanan ba ng customer yan. Kaya nga super sale yung 11/11 eh, bakit nila sasabihin na wrong pricing. Ang dapat managot ay yung nagprice sa item, diba? I have proof of the price because I've saved the image of my order during that day. I also save the image of my order form. Pwede ba ipaglaban yan? Nagpuyat ako sa araw na yon eh pagkatapos idedecline na lang nila with an invalid reason. Sabi nila, magbibigay sila ng compensation voucher, but hindi ito kayang pantayan ang presyo ng pinili kong item.,, 1st time na nangyari ito sa akin. Pang 12th order ko na yata ito from Lazada... Napaka dismayado.: /
I have found out that Lazada is not as Honest as they claim to be! They inflate the prices to double the selling price of what others sell for the brand eg. They advertise the Share 9 Mid 2930 at p7999 and give the sale price as p3665. Check their page and you can see that they give offers that is about half of their claim selling price.
What pisses me off is that Yesterday I saw an irresistible offer and last night (22nd sept 13) I checked again to show my gf. How is it that the page disappeared overnight! I would like to advice all to check by "search" for the correct selling prices of the things advertised in lazada from the internet. I have come across many of the tricks used by almost all of these dishonest online shopping sites.
I ordered a yi lite action camera on lazada originally priced 6500 pesos since it was on sale 4999 na lang sya via cod. I waited 5 days for the item to be delivered on my doorstep until it finally arrived so binayaran ko na yung item and immidiately i noticed that the receipt i should be signing upon receiving the item was already signed so dun palang nagtaka na ako. Immidiately after receiving the payment umalis na rin ung courier (lbc) i was exited naman to check out ung inorder ko so i opened yung plastic pouch wrap ng lazada (which looked ok naman walang signs of tampering) nandun yung box ng camera na nabalot (half) ng carton at packing tape na may obvious signs of tampering doon na ako kinabahan and i immidiately opened the box. To my surprise nakita ko na lang ang isang what looked like maliit na sanga ng kahoy wrapped with foam wrap and taped with clear scotch tape. So i took photos of it and immidiately pinuntahan ko yung branch ng lbc para mag reklamo. Very thankful naman ako sa lbc staff at ibinalik yung pera ko after ko gumawa ng certification stating what happened and whats the condition of the package when i received it together with a photo copy of my ID. Napakalaking abala sa akin ang ngyari i was even forced to travel 45km just to try and refund my money which they did naman agad. The staff of lbc told me im lucky i was able to reach him in time before the order was about to be marked received or else it wouldve been imposible for me get my money back
Sabi 24-48 hours until the verification of your order pero pass 48 hours hindi pa naveverify ang order ko. Wala man lang update.

Lazada was unable to process the warranty of our product.
Their customer service instructed us clearly that in order to claim the warranty, we have to return the item with the receipt and indicate that it would be returned to claim service warranty. We did as instructed.
I always followed up the status of the product thru email but no response from Lazada. After THREE (3) WEEKS, I got a reply from lazada that I should be the one to go to the service center in order to claim the warranty.
With that, I am already disappointed since i live in Mindanao and it was their instruction to send the product back to them.
I called customer service and complained, nothing happened. And so I told lazada that they should redeliver the item since they insisted that I should be the one to go to the service center.
Now it's almost A MONTH and i didnt receive any tracking number from lazada.
How can I claim the warranty then if lazada will not redeliver our item.
IT IS OUR RIGHT TO CLAIM THE WARRANTY SINCE THE PRODUCT COMES WITH 1 YEAR WARRANTY AND IT HAS ONLY BEEN WEEKS FROM THE DAY I PURCHASED IT.
Since LAzada doesnt want us to claim the warranty, THEN RETURN OUR ITEM TO US! We paid it why is lazada holding it!

Instead of discounts why don't they weed out all the scammers peddling goods through their site and then being protected by the BS rule that it wasn't sent back within 7 days. Because of Covid some people cant get out of their homes. If an order for a phone case for a Galaxy S8+ is made and a case 3/4 of the size is sent then clearly the scammers are hoping there's no reaction for 7 days - FREE MONEY! Or if 8 wrong items are sent - a dispute is raised and it is agreed the wrong items has been sent and the SCAMMER is told to refund but sends a refund for ONE item - and Lazada couldn't care less. Clearly stopping the scammers will stop Lazadas commission - pathetic! I had given up using them because of the fake stuff they allow to be peddled and then their complete reluctance to correct the scammers crap - but unknown to me my wife ordered a phone case for her phone - the model of phone is in the description of the ad, yet a case for a phone 3/4 of the size is sent. Because of the dodgy phone signal where we live and the fact she can't get out except for two days a week because of Covid-19 the &%@#* at Lazada say it is longer than the 7 days allowed to return the item. ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS - the sellers and Lazada!

I've been a frequent buyer in Lazada since 2014 and I was 14 years old then. It was pretty tough because you're just like being independent buying your own stuffs and having a transaction online which is partly awesome, of course. The first thing I bought was a smart watch. I received it after three days. It was cool, kind of cyborg. The next stuff I bought was headset, and then gadgets, phones, speakers, and etc. Their service through partnership with LBC is also good but it only depends on the type of service the LBC can give because I've seen reviews that LBC in their locals are taking advantages - asking for extra money or even food. Sometimes I get nervous in ordering an item thinking that what I've seen in the advertisement is far more different in reality. Yes, I've been reading a lot of stuffs like that but ordering in Lazada is worth a try. How will you know the quality of an item if you won't try? What if what you saw in the internet is real but you didn't buy it because you are doubting? Then, you just wasted the opportunity.
Lazada has been selling stuffs which caught my eyes. Since then, I also tried buying their supplements which made me wonder 'what if they're fake?' But then, without any doubt, I placed an order. It was a protein supplement used in gym. After it was delivered, I read the description and the manufacturing date and time and confirmed in the internet if the item is original and indeed, it is original.
I also remember buying a phone. It's blackview worth 8.9k PHP. I was impressed by the specs in youtube so I considered buying in Lazada. What I ordered was black because white is out of stock. Luckily, upon delivery, I received white. Another great surprise from Lazada but of course, if it happened to someone else, they'll be like WTF!
So Lazada has been good to me. I just don't like their costumer service, as in! I don't even have the chance to talk with their staff in online chats through messenger whenever I get to ask a question but I don't mind it anymore. What's important is they'll deliver my item at the right time.
Lazada may not be good to you, but it is worth to trust for me.

Not only does it take for Lazada hours to pick up the phone (I literally fell asleep on my bed waiting for someone to answer the "customer service" line), but while you're explaining the details as to why you're calling, they keep cutting you off. It's like they don't want to hear the concern, they just want to get it over with. It didn't happen once, it happened all 3 times that I called.
The first time it happened, I was calling to cancel an order that I made ONE HOUR after placing the order because I ordered the wrong items. They agreed and sent me an e-mail notifying me that my order had been cancelled. 3 days later, I receive a text saying that my order was on its way... Umm, hello? So I called Lazada again and after waiting 1 1/2 hours to get connected to someone, I couldn't get to explain again. They just basically told me that when the mailman came, I'd just have to refuse the service/delivery. WHAT?! Is there NO communication between the warehouse and the customer service/main office? I had to stand there in embarrassment and I pitied the man for driving all the way here to my VERY complicated address to deliver a package that I cancelled ONE HOUR after placing the order! Save your time and money, Lazada!
The funniest part is when they spam you with these e-mails about rating their services. Instead of spamming unnecessary and duplicated e-mails, why don't they include your ORDER TOTAL in one of the e-mails? The only time you ever see your total is when you initially place an order. If you choose to get it delivered through "Cash-On-Delivery", expect to know your total ONLY when your shipment gets there. Unless you want to spend hours on the phone again just to waste yours and Lazada's time. An important information that SHOULD be provided, how poorly this e-commerce runs!
Overall, the products came in securely packaged. My actual order was shipped 4 days after my order. These two orders were made on the same day, it's just that the cancelled order came in a day earlier than my actual order.
Ang tagal ng refund. You say 5-45 days. You take money for seconds. I call my bank wala pa daw kayong ginagawang refund.

Answer: You can't tell from online usually. It's why have to purchase from reputable reliable vendors. Someone selling knockoffs, counterfeit and fake products will usually use the OEM specifications and often use the original OEM photos. I always read comments, reviews and most anything else about a seller/vendor to get an idea about what previous buyers had to say. I also look at the OEM website for a list of authorized dealers. Of course there is the "gray market" as well. Vendors who import authentic phones but they are not authorized so they wont have the OEM Manufacturers warranty. Many of these sellers/shops offer an in-house warranty and will repair phones in their own shop. Just realize they won't stock parts so even if they are decent people you may wait weeks for repairs to be completed. Most authorized dealers and repair shops will often just give you a replacement phone (usually remanufactured in pristine condition) or, if a simple repair, may have the parts in-stock. So your best bet is either use an authorized dealer or research to find one of the reliable 3rd party sellers. As the old adage (saying) goes "if it looks too good to be true, it probably isn't. If the price is well below what an authorized dealer or reputable shop, then it's likely it's not an original phone. You may have to save up a little longer to buy but in the long run its usually worth the extra money. Finally, I often look at the OEMs who either sell directly or use one of the bigger retail or online websites (for example, Lazada selling Xiaomi smartphones. At least you are dealing with a seller with written guarantees and refund/return policies that (somewhat) protect the Buyer. The only alternative is to either buy the lowest cost phones that won't break your savings if they break quickly OR buy from one of the Mobile Carriers (Smart, Globe, etc) Hope this helps. Good luck.
