Bought $200 worth of products using my American credit card during Dec 2016. Realised I was allergic to the skin product so I opted for a refund in Jan 2017. Before I got refunded, I called a sales representative to express my concern because I cancelled my American card before returning to Singapore and refunding the money back to that account would be impossible. Explicitly mentioned how refunding to that credit card would cause complication because that bank is in America. Staff REASSURED me he will liaise with the finance team to change it to store credits and gave me the GREEN LIGHT to return my products. Happily returned my products and few days later, got an email that my refund has been processed. EVEN received an email from the staff telling me how to use the store credits. UNBELIEVABLY, when I called to enquiry about the store credit voucher number. The staff apologise and say that this is the receipt of us refunding the money BACK to your American bank account (face palm). Called the customer service again and again and each time, they repeatedly told me they can't do anything about it. Finally, after MANY calls>> situation was brought up to the manager and I thought he will handle my situation properly because this was clearly an internal communication issue. Today, received an email stating: we can't do anything about it because we already refunded to your American bank acc. We suggest you call your American bank to get the money out. Well done Lazada, you're asking me to take my money out of a closed account and your staff was aware of this situation. If I knew your customer service was a mess, I rather not refund my $200'worth of product. Worse customer service ever!

We enroll as a reseller last March. Then after that we able to sell 1 unit of coffee machine. As we are new in lazada we called the lazada call center to able to know the process. So the one who answer told us to send the item to the wharehouse. So that day we went to LBC and send the box to Lazada... After 1 week the buyer texted us that she didnt receive her order even though its already paid through Lazada.
She is very embarassed with Lazada service she she want to be refunded. So we aks Lazada to give back our item 1 unit of nespresso machine cost almost 8500php. But until now... This $#*!ing company they never give back the unit... We been talking to diff people in Lazada but no action... What the hell are you doing! If you cant do fair business with your reseller then closed!
Most of the people working in Lazada dont know what they are doing there... Its been how many months its happen last March 2018 and now is almost November. UNTIL NOW NO FEEDBACK! IF WHERE IS OUR UNIT...
SO DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY ITS A BIG SCAM..

Regarding this concern, please be advised that this is a system-generated cancellation and we have not collected any payment from your card since it was declined by our system. The amount will just be on a floating status. Below are the possible reasons why transactions gets invalid:

A mismatch on some details on your card and billing information. The name on the billing information should be the card holder's name and the billing address is the address where the card was issued.

Wrong or incomplete details - Incorrect Name and Billing Information. Even a single letter or word is a discrepancy.

Credit Limit - if your item to be purchased is more than your credit limit. Thank you.

I already bought a lot from this site, but for my recent experience, I will not let it pass.
I ordered phone (elephone s1) from them because it was 50% off. When I received the box, it is clean and sealed, indicating it as brand new. So I decided not to open it and have it as a Christmas gift to my relative. I have the confidence that I can trust this seller (because I have no problem with them in the past) and gave the phone to my relative after the guarantee period. To my disappointment, what inside that SEALED box is a SECONDHAND or RETURNED item from previous customer. It shows a lot of remnants (fingerprints, dirt, tempered glass, etc) and it is defective (screen flickers when you put simcard). They put back the screen and back plastic protector as cover up.
(my sister have the same experience with the same phone brand, the only difference was that her phone is not defective.)
After the incident above, I opened another box of phone (firefly gt200) which was also I bought from them before December. The original seal was tempered and they put another seal. I charged it first because the battery was DRAINED. Usually when you open a brand new phone, it will ask you to set up your preference but this one, it went directly to android icons.
A couple of phone (starmobile play) from sealed boxes was checked by my cousin. Both phones went directly to android icons without asking to set up and the "Removed SD Card" caption popped up. On the first phone there is a "Developer Options" in the setting. According to my cousin, once you see that option, it means that someone already touched/modified the phone settings. The other phone was lacking one icon. After factory reset, the icon showed.

They are fooling customers by recycling stuff.

TWO LAZADA sellers IDEE ENTERPRISES and WEEXT TRADING CORPORATION refuse to give me ORIGINAL (WHITE) SALES INVOICES for purchases which are fully paid. As per BIR TAX CODE sales invoice or official receipt must be issued for ALL purchases made.
IDEE ENTERPRISES claimed that the sales invoice was included in the package. Thorough checking showed that NO SALES INVOICE was in the packages. I requested for the original sales invoice for reimbursement purposes through customer care (email, live chat and phone). The request ended up with LAZADA failing to implement its own policy on issuance of sales invoice (customer care helpcenter)

When can I request for a Sales Invoice?

All Sales invoice should be included on the package upon delivery. If for some reason our merchants have not included the Invoice, please contact us within 30 days upon receipt for us to send one out right away.
A scanned copy of the Sales Invoice will be sent to you 3 to 5 business days from the date of request and a physical copy will be mailed to you right after if you require one.

IDEE ENTERPRISE sent scanned copy but this is not acceptable in the ANY accounting SOP. I requested for certified true copy of the scanned DUPLICATE sales invoice but IDEE ENTERPRISE refused insisting only to send soft copy.
May I know how LAZADA management will resolve this concern re implementation of TAX CODE as well as its own policy on issuance of sales invoice?

Poor service
November 4, 2016

The first time I ordered from them was great. So i was excited to get another products again. The orders weren't cash on delivery so i had to go to nearest hellopay center which is 7/11 last october 20. The expected delivery date was nov16-21 which was a total bummer. But i digress. The products came way earlier than expected which was defenitely awesome. To my surprise, they delivered wrong item. So i had to call their customer service right away to take action on this. I had to call twice which costs me 200 pesos in order for them to fix it. In the end this 35weeks pregnant mother had to go to the nearest lbc branch to return the product then i have to wait for their call so i can refund the money which they couldnt tell me when or where. The thing is, im giving birth within the next few weeks so i need to complete my baby's stuffs before delivery but due to their pooooooor coordination, i have to go to the other town to get what i needed. I ended up Deleting the app and will never ever order again!
They called just now (nov5) to inform me that they will investigate the issue and need more time to process this. So I asked the lady if there's any guarantee that I could get my money back since it's obviously not my fault, but she couldn't give me any information about that instead she just told me to wait for more days. Please to those people who pay beforehand, I warn you not to.

She placed me on hold forever after I asked her supervisor. Policy on Lazada that they won't sell imitations/replicas, yet their store is full of it.

When choosing refunding preferences like a brand new replacement, they don't even care what you put/opt, they'll just refund you through lbc remittance.

I also don't understand why those legit authorized resellers sell products with no warranty. All of my bought items have their original boxes deformed/teared, a clear indication that those fragile items were not handled properly during delivery especially electronic gadgets. Items are also covered with cheap one-layer bubble wrap that offers little to no protection. So delivered beat-up items with no warranty, you're making yourself a huge gamble. Electronic gadgets especially cellphones and audio equipment should be covered in thick bubble wrap and inside another box for maximum protection.

And if you still want to buy in Lazada, always choose COD. Alipay is such a frustrating experience especially when refunding. Why would we the customers instead of you Lazada, responsible for contacting Alipay for the refund process. And I mean you take charge and refund us directly rather than through them. They keep prolonging the refund process by letting you submit proof of id and address and taking too long to verify these documents. Why do they need these documents in the first place, if you already know our Lazada account used to order? Our details are already there. I contacted Lazada through Mesenger to inquire why Alipay is a slowpoke in refunding, and they reply "contact Alipay for your concern". They don't even care anymore as long as they give the confirmation of refund to Alipay.

What a way to "value" your customers. "100% Customer Satisfaction" indeed...
