I've order 3 times through them only because I was in no hurry for my items. But they apparently never have any item in with them. You have to wait atleast 2 weeks for them to receive the item and another week for them to deliver. If you can wait about a month for your item then go for it but other than that I wouldn't recommend it.
Sometimes reading can be helpful but in my case it's different after reading all the negative comments here I feel anxious that maybe my order will not come on time. I'm so thankful that it was delivered before our simple celebrations. I will order here again in the future. Thanks Katom!
With all the bad reviews I am very happy with my purchase. I purchased a Univex mixer for around 9k for a Boy Scout camp. The item shipped faster than expected which is great. Item arrived today in great shape.

Do not order from here. This company charges you expensive deliveries charges. And want you to unload truck. If you refuse the order they will keep most of your money.

My order took 12 emails to complete and then arrived wrong with billing issues, and was a surprise when it arrived as I was told it was canceled.
I won't recommend to buy any thing from kaTom worst customer Service ever bought an electric stove and the discription said it fits in to any 3 way outlet when I received it I didn't so I called for an exchange the day I received it not for a return but I was told they can't they would have to do a return that would be a 25% restocking fee then I can buy the new stove what a rip off
Trust me. I worked there. The owner and upper management put ridiculous demands on the sales team and on the return department. They are taught to pull you in and make the sale no matter what. They are constantly yelled at and ridiculed. I know for a fact that any positive reviews are likely done by the internet workers. The CEO is abusive to every person that works there including all the family members.

All orders come from 3 rd party. Total nightmare trying to get refunds. 25% restocking fee... never again. Look elsewhere!
Years ago Bon Chef Queen Anne Euro Dinner forks were made from 18/10 stainless steel. When I went to purchase replacement forks I discovered they are now made from 18/8 stainless. After searching the Internet I found the forks at Ka Tom described as 18/10 stainless. I assumed the forks were from older inventory and placed an order. Under "notes" for the order I asked them to check the back of the forks for the 18/10 stamp and that if they were 18/8 to cancel the order. The forks I received several weeks later were 18/8. I contacted KaTom customer service and told them I had specifically noted to cancel the order if the forks were not 18/10. IF I had wanted the 18/8 version, I could have ordered them from Amazon Prime, had them in two days, and saved $14.12. Since they were falsely advertised, I told them they could either refund $14.12 and I would keep the forks, or they could provide me with prepaid postage and I would return them. They told me they would look into it. Several days later, I emailed them again. It has been two weeks and I have heard nothing.
Be-careful when you order from Katom because if a mistake is made with your order you are going to pay: return shipping cost, restocking cost and reshipping cost for the replacement item.
A few weeks ago a customer of mine emailed that they needed some coffee air pots so same day I got on Ka Tom's website and placed the order which came to $221.41 with shipping. A couple hours later if even that, my customer informed me they didn't need the air pots after all, so I quickly called Ka Tom to cancel. I was informed they couldn't cancel the order as it already shipped and was advised to simply refuse delivery once UPS brought it which I did. About a week later I still had not received a credit to my card so I opened Live Chat with Ka Tom explaining what happened. I was told once they received and inspected the return they would issue a credit minus the shipping cost and a 25% restocking fee. I was flabbergasted at this and explained that I was a repeat customer having made 6 previous orders totaling about $2230. I pointed out that Ka Tom shows on their emailed invoices that "Here at KaTom, our dedicated team strives to make every shopping experience excellent. If you are unsatisfied with your order or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the KaTom Customer Appreciation Team" I said given that I'm a repeat customer, charging me a restocking fee is NOT appreciating my business. The rep then said they could assess a 10% restocking fee as opposed to the usual 25%. This with the shipping fee came out to $45.26 that I lost even though I called same day to cancel. Being a repeat customer apparently doesn't matter to Ka Tom. Seems they wanted that restocking fee and shipping charge more than future business with us which would have come to much more than the $45. When they emailed me the credit memo, the bottom of their email shows they're a GSA contract holder. This seemingly explains part of their somewhat apathetic attitude towards us smaller customers. Fortunately Ka Tom has competitors from which I also order and who in the future will certainly be receiving business that would have gone to Ka Tom.
Awful, I will not use them again for the price. I have been waiting 3 weeks for items purchased.

First time buyer at KaTom so I looked up BBB review and they ranked them a "A" rating. WRONG! Ordered the knives 6./8/16 and KaTom said "in stock ships 2-3 buiss days. It's 6/21/16 and no knives. Wish I had looked at this site first. You can't trust the BBB either.
Now the 23rd and still no knives.
Do not use this company! My 3000 dollar Prep table had concealed damage below one of the doors which I did not detect when first arrived (until I tried to open the door a couple of days later) and they declined my claim and left me with mangled metal on a brand new unit even though I reported within the 5 days allowed for concealed damage. I'm 51 years old and I've been in business for 27 years and the so called customer service reresentative had the audasity to accuse me of altering the receipt after driver had left when I insisted she does something about the damage!
Very courtious when you are giving them your money, very rude and ignorant when problems arise. Do not trust them, don't let them do to you what they did to me! Very dishonest people...
Called to get assistance from customer service to order drinking dispensers, customer service rep told me what I was looking at was the correct item to purchase. Went on website and ordered it, they sent me a partial order! Called to ask for the rest of my items they HEATHER (the manager) told me I don't get the other parts because I didn't order them! I ordered what the representative told me to order according to I needed! Told them I don't need the item because I refuse to buy piece by piece and wanted to send back. THEY Want To CHARGER ME A RESTOCKING FEE PLUS Shipping AND Handling FEES again!... This company is so unprofessional! Do not deal with them!
Horrible place, I placed several items, They charged me a lot more of what the order total was, there were missing items, I never receive complete tracking numbers for the sent items, The worst experience ever! The worst attention! Don't even look at that place! Awful service!

After I placed my order I decided to read reviews on the company. I see many negative reviews. I decided to try my luck so I placed an order for a Lodge Camp Dutch Oven 8 qt. I got an email shortly afterwards saying the product would not be available until June for me to contact them to let them know how to proceed. I called customer service and talked to this very nice woman about my order. She was able to cancel it with no problems. Everything went so smooth I would order from them again. They were great!
I ordered a pullman loaf pan with cover and the picture on my order confirmation showed a picture with the lid
However after paying USD 10.50 for shipping the loaf pan arrived without the lid
When I called the company they tell me that the website states in fine print that the picture may not match the actual product!
Also they would not reimburse the shipping and I was aksed to pay for the return shipping as well -This is misrepresentation to the point of fraud!
I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering from this company. I ordered an item and didn't like the color so I ordered the color I needed. I have to pay a restocking fee that is ridiculously high and also had to pay the charges to return the item.
