Cart said I qualified for free shipping but was charged for shipping anyways. Customer service said it's because I had the promotional item in my cart that was automatically added. They refused to refund the shipping charge for an order that was over $50. Their website says free shipping to the US for order $35 then you're told to spend $50 while adding to your cart to qualify for free shipping. They seem to be greedy and have gotten worse over the years. Their customer service just has one excuse after the other as you can see.
I never received my package from November 18 and November 26 cost 85,94 and 86,12 total 155.06. So I went to try their product because I saw someone use their highlighter on Instagram. I barely used the product and the fuzz on the stick is already pulling off. I had purchased three different colors and they're all doing it. I asked to return it because I didn't think it was worth keeping for the price. Yes it's inexpensive, but don't fall for it. Who knows what kind of ingredients they use especially if it's this cheap. The brow powder palette product and colors are deceiving. The darkest color isn't even close to black, but it's more brown when applying. I'm glad I didn't buy anything more. They said they won't accept returns or give me a refund, but would give me a store credit. I asked how I would see the store credit since it's been two weeks now. I haven't gotten a reply. I honestly don't know what else I'd want from them. The packaging is cheap also. Don't waste your money!
Made a purchase with Juvia's place during the black Friday weekend sale. Took nearly a month to receive my order and when I finally did 3 items were missing - 2 blush palettes and a setting powder. When I reached out to the company about either shipping out the missing items or receiving a refund, they sent me notice that I would only receive store credit. For what?! If they knew they were out of stock, they shouldn't be taking our money! And if they can't produce the items, then refund our money! What kind of a scam is this?!
Juvia's Place sent my order and my eyeshadow palette was damaged. Reached out to customer service and the representative told me since just a couple of my shades were broken they would give me a future discount. I don't order from them on a regular basis I want my eyeshadow pallet replaced or a refund. I'm disappointed with them because I collect eyeshadow pallets and I want my pallets to look beautiful when I open them to use them. I will never purchase from Juvia's Place again terrible customer service. Very disappointing!
Package more than 2 months stuck in delivery. There was a problem with my package which was declined by customs and they acknowledge something went wrong and that they will make a refund. However they only want to pay me back through store credit. As customs did not let my package through I do not want to order again and asked to just pay me back as the EU law states but still they do not want to give my money back! This is what they call thieves!
I placed an order on March 22nd. It was for 3 items the eye prep in all 3 colors. Today I received an envelope with the remove adhesive to adhere sticker still attached and no product. Now after the black Friday issue with them I said I wouldn't order again but I decided to try again big mistake.
They advertised a sale price and when I went to select the item it was regular price instead. I went ahead and purchased the product anyway but sent an email requesting the difference. They didn't honor the advertised sale price. Also, I received some product that I would like to return. They don't accept returns. I will never buy online again. If you get the product from Ulta, they will exchange or accept a return.
Sent me the incorrect item! When I requested a refund they ignored the request and said a replacement order would be sent out. The replacement came with another incorrect item! They're still refusing to process my refund!
I had two terrible experiences. First one; was I brow pen. I order bunches around thirty pieces with different colors, each color had 10 pieces, most of them are dry, no pigments. After lots of tries emailing, no one gave any solution. Second one was a blusher s 4 pallette s, they came only two, and the same thing happened, no one responded. I'm done, I unsubscribecd it. Scamm
I purchased three items and I got an email sent of the items stating they had shipped. When I received my box there were only two items with no packing slip receipt in there. I contacted their company it took 4 emails to get a response about my lipstick that was missing. They responded with it was out of stock as I watched it came in stock twice in the amount of time I waited for someone to rectify the situation. And they offer me a store credit! If they're offering store credits to people after saying they're sending products when they don't send the products do you know how much money they make off of stealing! Other peoples money to keep it within the company i'm offered a store credit on a product that you lied about sending! Fraudulent! They are garbage I will never order from them again!
The products are good. Warning, do not buy anything from the website directly! Use ULTA instead. It will not be shipped out as advertised on your confirmation page. Juvia's Place can not be contacted via phone only email. They use a 3rd party app with FedEX to "track" your order. Terrible customer service all around, poor communication and slow delivery that is NOT FREE as advertised. Check out my pics below, hope this helps.
My payment went through on their website before I could finish choosing the products. My account on Juvia is showing no order was passed! Chasing customer care since 3 weeks now. They repeatedly ask you the same question. It's so frustrating and unprofessional on their side. I so want to file a lawsuit against them for fraud.
The 1 star review isn't even in regards to the product itself, it's simply due to the awful customer service. I ordered my product 2 months ago and still have not received it. I've requested multiple times for a refund and all I've received is "it's been shipped out so we can't cancel it" (and simply ignoring the refund element). Looking at the tracking information, it says that the shipment tracking number isn't even valid and I've checked multiple carriers just to see if it was sent with a different one other than what was listed. Not impressed.
I bought the Taupes palette and one use and less than a month later, it started oozing what looks like oil. I am so confused. Something is seriously wrong with this makeup. When I try to log in to my account at Juvia's, I get a message saying that my account is unknown. I have heard of this happening to other people trying to contact them. Major disappointed.
The agent responded as I'f she didn't care.I order and when the order went through I realize it was my old address. I immediately email customer service. I added my current address since I'd just ordered and knew it didn't go out. I get an ema hours later saying sorry nothing they can do bc order already shipped. I then replied to cancel order bc I'm no long in that area at that address so I wouldn't get it. No response back. It's already bad they don't have a number to speak with an agent then to just say they can't do anything is awful and unacceptable. You try to support a black brand and this is what happens. THE ABSOLUTE WORST EVER EXPERIENCE I've ever had with a company. I will never order again and will mKe sure my friends and family doesnt either.

Overall I had a great experience and was able to track my package as soon as they shipped it, and we all know the eyeshadows are amazing. On sale and it is such a good deal! So if you are hesitant do it, they were great to me
Posting this review everywhere I can think of.
1. Their products (at least the eyeshadow palettes) are great quality. However;
2. Their customer service is atrocious.
My first order and they manage to send me the wrong palette. I email them to let them know, attaching photos of the palette I actually received. First response is apologetic, but a bit unclear whether they're offering me store credit or a refund. So I ask them to clarify. 48 hours later I get told I will get a refund.
Four weeks later and I still haven't received a dime. So glad I paid through Paypal, hoping my claim through them will get me my money back.
They don't update you on tracking #s! They tell you to put Fed ex if you want an insured package come to find out it It was sent through usps who refused to give me a refund so now I have to go through all this frustration. Will never order again!
An order was not authorized by me. It went thru on my account. Not seconds later I emailed JP to cancel the order and explained to them what had happened. They emailed me at 3:00 am saying they could not cancel the order because it was already being packaged. Let me repeat. An unauthorized purchase. I answered them back saying I would report them here not knowing this horror already existed! They didn't care! They shipped the products the very next day! And sent 2 emails confirming the shipment with tracking from DHL. I emailed them again telling them it will not be opened and returned to sender and that I am disputing the charges with my bank. This is the most unprofessional, unempathetic, sad company and horrible customer service I have ever seen. I feel that they think they cannot fail. That is why they treat their customers so horribly. I have an order from September 2022 that was partially shipped. $128 order. No packing slip. When I reached out to them, they asked for a picture of the missing packing slip. It was never resolved and I never received the rest of my order, but how interesting how quickly an order I asked them to cancel and NOT ship is shipped WITHOUT HESITATION OR COMMUNICATION the very next day. This company is a joke. You have been warned. Steer clear of this website and buy from Ulta or not at all. Why support a company that treats its customers like trash?

Answer: I bought straight from the website twice with no issues. Some people I guess just didn't understand the wait times for things ordered online in the beginning and middle of the pandemic were a lot longer given you know it being a pandemic and all. That being said, the quality of the product is superb compared to many out there. The colors are unique and can bring out features in anyone. I'd say it's definitely worth the money.
