I had made quite a big order on 12/15/2020 and it was shipped to me on 12/26/2020. I was hesitant to order from Juvias after reading all of the negative reviews, but after doing so and luckily getting exactly what I ordered (5 palettes, 1 foundation, 1 concealer) for $110 I have some pros and cons about Juvias:
Cons:
Tracking your order is terrible for the fact that the first tracking number they give you in the confirmation email seems to be faulty, and whenever you try to track your order via Juvias, it says shipped but never gives you updates. Juvia ships most items via DHL. What I did was I went directly to DHL and tracked my package from there. I signed up for their notifications too. It helps to know what version of DHL your item is shipped as. (Mine was shipped as E-commerce) You can find this in the Shop app, which is why I highly recommend it. The Shop app was able to see all of the location and carrier details from Juvias once you place an order. Once I got the notification from DHL that my package was being handed off to USPS, I did the same thing and tracked the package from their website and signed up for notifications. DHL is international, so your package will most likely be handed off to some other mailing company eventually. My advice to you is to NEVER rely directly on Juvias place to track your package. Also make sure you have the EXACT address you want your items shipped to because once the package is shipped, it. Is. Shipped. All emails/dms about changing your order/the address you want it shipped to will be ignored by Juvias Place. I had sent them the order number and tracking number to no avail. Initially I had sent them an email inquiring about why there are no updates to my package when I first made my order and I never heard back from them. So this just goes to show you that it is best to take it upon yourself and track all of your packages from Juvias on your own. I checked daily on the Shop app for movement. I picked up my package from USPS on 12/29/2020 after I had missed the delivery on 12/22/2020.
Pros:
-I got everything I ordered, and I had a pretty big order! Although I recognize that I may be one of the lucky few...
-All of the products were wrapped in bubble wrap and came in perfect condition.
Final Thoughts:
After my experience with Juvias place I don't think it would be best for me to continue ordering directly from their site. If anything I may just start ordering their products from Ulta. Ofcourse this is disappointing because Juvias website has so many great deals. However, I wouldn't want to risk ordering from them again, having a missing/damaged product, then emailing/hitting them up on Instagram just to be ignored (like so many others have said they've experienced) I hope others have good experiences with Juvias going into 2021 because they have beautiful products!
Tips:
- If you still would like to take advantage of all of the great deals that Juvias site has to offer, I recommend you place your order via PayPal. This way, if you receive a damaged/missing item you can report it, and If Juvias place decides to not respond you can get your money back.
-If you're worried about getting missing/damaged items, especially if you placed a big order, I would suggest you film yourself unboxing the products once you receive the package. There should also be a slip in the box with all of the items you purchased from the site. This way if anything happens, you have evidence that you aren't "lying" (like others here have been accused by Juvias of doing )
All of this really isn't worth the hassle people! I was anxious everyday when I went to the Shop app to see package movement.
TILL THIS DAY 12/30/2020 the tracking from Juvias place says "in transit" but with "no location details"
-Get the Shop app to track your order
-Make sure you track your package via DHL and whichever other carrier DHL hands your package off to. (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc)

I decided to order directly form Juvia's Place to help support a smaller brand, instead of buying from Ulta. Big mistake. I placed and order for foundation and powder on July 15th and paid for 7-10 business day shipping. I received a notification via email that my package had shipped on July 19th (i was happy with this time frame) and was given a tracking number. The tracking number only said that the shipping label was created, and it was still in NJ. After a few days it was the same, it wasn't even able to give and estimated delivery date- it was obvious the package never got to FedEx. I contacted Juvia's Place support on July 24th. I received a quick response, from Jovy A., that she is looking into the matter. I asked if I could change the address because I may not be able to receive the package if it is delayed further, she said no changes can be made. I then asked for the order to be canceled- she stated that can not be done since the shipping label was already created. She said she forwarded my information to the shipping department. To cover all my bases, I called FedEx on July 25th and confirmed they have not received the package. On July 26th I again contacted Jovy and asked again to cancel my order I no longer want to receive the items and I would like a refund. She stated that can't be done but the shipping department is looking into my issue. The final response I got back was "We apologize but we are no longer able to cancel. Once the order is confirmed in the system, it is already endorsed for fulfillment due to the volume of orders so we can arrange the shipping in a timely manner".
I have put in a dispute with my bank since Juvia's Place is unwilling to fix my issues internally.
