My experience has been that JTV uses extreme unrealistic magnification and lighting to enhance the products when exhibiting products. Therefore, there is great disappointment when getting the products. The products are much smaller or not as colorful with poor quality than shown. There is real danger in buying the gem parcels. There's a reason that JTV puts "not returnable" when selling the parcel. The presenters lie. In the parcel, they present a variety of gems with a lot of them large 8-12mm but when you get the parcel you get tiny tiny 2mm or less gems and there is no presence of the larger gems. The gems in the parcel are UNUSABLE. The customer has no recourse for return/refund because they are told when purchasing the parcels "not returnable." JTV knows they are going to cheat the customer. The parcel that is exhibited by the host is not the parcel the customer will receive. The jewel school host lies pathologically. All of the merchandise shown is exorbitantly priced. If customers would do research they could buy the same merchandise on eBay or Amazon for a half or a quarter or less with triple or quadruple quantities.

I purchased a ring in May of 23. I paid around $70 for the ring. Within 2 months a stone fell out of the ring. At first they were not going to replace or fix it but they finally agreed to do it. They had the ring for a month. I finally received it back and after 2 more months, the same stone fell out. I reached out and they told me to send it back and they would fix it again. I received the ring back without being fixed and they said they were done fixing it. This is not good customer service. I would expect it with a $20 ring but not at $70. I have bought other jewelry from them over many years, but never again.

JTV used to try to make you feel like family. All the things that made their programs special are gone. They axed favorite designers (Janyl Sherman, Artistry of India, etc) without even a thank you and proper sendoff. They've cut customers favorite programs (gemstone shows, The Morning Mix, special pre-recorded Christmas show, the JTV exclusive Holiday Ring, Rockafellas, etc). They've made all the hosts stick to canned format (the price drop dance "No, it's not $799 or $699 or $549..." and the countdown "we're down to only 49, 48, 46,...) Just looks awkward. Yes some hosts do it effectively but others look uncomfortable. Why not let them be themselves? So much more personable. If you want everyone to sell the same way you may as well hire robots. I miss learning about jewelry & gemstones. I do like their return policies. And their customer service has always been exceptional.

My only issue with JTV is that their hosts talk WAY TO MUCH! I want to see the item, not hear you jabber on about it. My purchases have been awesome. The jewelry is beautiful. But the hosts are incredibly long winded, terrible. I've changed channels because of the constant jabber, jabber, jabber.

Your products are beautiful, and no one can touch you prices and value. I love the shipping rate. Delivery time is a gift in itself. The specials, specialty buys, power buys, and the jewelry sets you offer have kept me as a 15+ year customer. Your operators are nice and eager to please.
The only non constructive thing I've experienced is the latches on the necklaces. They are almost always too small. One more thing. Your offer beautiful neck pieces, but then you add an ugly, too simple for the gems chain. 9 out of 10 times that ugly chain keeps me from buying the item.

I order some product on 12-12-2023, said two days busines delivery, one sta over in Arkansas form Tennessee, now told it will take one week to get product,No help on call line just excuses. One week to ship one state over? Really. It took two days to process order for pick up yet they dang sure billed me in the 12th.not shipped yet? I order product on 7-5-2022 personally talked with agent to have CC to make sure arrive by 7-7-2022 for anniversary 7-10-2022. Product did not ship Until 7-8-2022 Friday before anniversary. Now told unknown date when will arrive and not arriving prior to anniversary. They did the same things on Mothers day order I had. Only response I get is will give you % off next order. WHY would I want to order from a Company that does not stand by or keep its word? Their produces are great, their customer service and lack of effective commincation with customers is lacking and 100% unsatisfactory.
Having read over a few dozen reviews I'm left wondering why they all seem to be 1 star or 5 stars... next to nothing in between! People hate it with a passion wanting to call their State Attorney General's office on them or the best jewelry seller in the world!
My wife and I have purchased literally hundreds of pieces of jewelry through the many years with them (they documented back 22 years but I'm sure it's been longer... back to ACN days) and are well over 90% pleased with our purchases or customer service related issues. Never once have we had a heated conversation with anybody there and always had our issues resolved.
Just this week I had a very expensive purchase disappear and called in and was assured that if it didn't turn up, they were going to simply replace it... no charge. As it was, our mail delivery lady put it in the wrong box. Point being, they were going to make it right if necessary.
My advice is to try it out, get something you buy from them appraised, give them a chance and make your own decision. If it's not to your standard, go spend more somewhere else because you will not beat their prices.
I give them 4 stars because there is always room for improvement, and I tell them that!

I ordered a ring for my wife and gave it plenty of time to get shipped. I ordered it on November 21th and it was supposed to be here November 24th. Here it is December 6th and no one can tell me where my ring is or why it has not been shipped. I'm now afraid I don't have a present for the occasion. I am so disappointed but not as disappointed as the person I now don't have a gift for.

I just had a problem with a product sent and with JTV Customer Service. My rating would have been higher, if I didn't have this problem. It would have been lower, if Alex S. On JTV Chat had not been so helpful. I chatted with Alex S. After speaking with both a customer service rep. And a customer service supervisor. Neither of whom were helpful. I have been a JTV customer for 20 years, and have noticed that merchandise quality is often less than advertised. Additionally, customer service was much better in the past. I admit to being a fussy customer, and a jewelry junkie, so I may be partially responsible for my sometimes continued disappointment.

I thought I'd try and order from JTV, we'll, the experience was beyond painful. When calling customer service, I never got the same response. My first attempt in ordering was a 5 rings set. Not even within 24 hours, 3 stones were missing. JTV sent another set. Because the order was under $ 50, no shipping cost was applied nor duty/custom.
Well, my second order was frustrating and the continuous excuses given was beyond my comprehension. So, I ordered 2 pieces which were suppose to be shipped via UPS. Upon receipt at Canada Post (Canada), I was told that there was duty/customs/ shipping and tax charges of approximately $40. Therefore, I refused the package and returned it back. Return to sender. I contacted customer service and one of the outrageous reasons was " JTV applies shipping charges on EACH piece prior to shipping". Therefore, if I order 10 pieces, shipping cost is applied on EACH piece? I could not understand the reasoning. Are the 10 pieces not in the same 1 package? Why is JTV
Charging for each piece BUT JTV shipped them in 1 package and paid postage for that package.
What I'm trying to express and what was explained to me was that ANY orders below $50, no extra charges are applied? Beyond confused and what a scam. Never again will I order from JTV again.

I was ordering a 10 k rope chain and they kept hanging up on me! I called back. The order was down on file just waiting for payment. Upon trying to pay, it was rejecting my credit card and the agent told me it was sold out! I told her that my order was already submitted and a "I'm sorry" is all I got. They had taken my order out and sold it to someone else! What a poor way to do business! They had already taken all my credit card information! I had been a faithful customer through the years! Rude hanging up. Rude removing my purchase and it was supposed to be a birthday present to me from my husband!

Well I have not had a lot of good experiences with jtv. After order many, many items, which I did all on stretch pay, I get an email that my stretch pay had been revoked. Ok, what? Upon seeing what had happened, I immediately sent an email explaining that I had to turn a cred card in for fraud, false puches I had not made. One item was on jtv that was on that card. They also had my debit card which all my other purchases were on. I explained that I didn't tell them about the credit card because they had my actual bank card information they were already using. Got that fixed and continued on with my payments. Now as of today, after making all or having a couple payments left of many purchases.I try to sign into my account, my purchase and payment history is on there, and get a message that my account is closed! No email, nothing! I have spent several hundred dollars there the last couple month, and had planned on spending much more. But I'm done. I'll go to QVC or something because I'm not dealing with these people any more. It's ridiculous

Good buys can be had, but oftentimes if the price is "too good to be believed" on gemstones, trust your instincts. I've bought a few items where the hosts raved about the quality of gemstones and received product that have weak color or visible inclusions. Fortunately there is a 30 day return policy, but you aren't refunded for shipping. They also text and email FAR too often.

Answer: As a longtime shopper, I can vouch that the gemstones are real. If it's a lab-created version of more expensive gems (i. E. Lab Emerald, Lab Ruby, CZ, etc), the title & description will reflect that. Although quality control is hit & miss, I've tested/appraised hundreds of stones from JTV & haven't had any issues with authenticity. Their treatment disclosures are pretty good for the industry. Might I suggest perusing eBay, too? Lots of resalers (like me) can offer better prices on legit stones & jewelry... plus you get the benefit of knowing your seller has already checked for cracks, chips, etc. To be safe, only buy from US sellers & ask questions to ensure they can respond with some knowledge about their goods. Answer: I have several pieces of Moissanite set in Platineve and have not had any problems. I've had some of my pieces for a few years and am happy with the way they have held up. Moissanite is more expensive than CZ's and I wouldn't expect anything less from Charles & Colvard to set these stones in to. Hope this helps!
