I ordered a print from Joss and Main Dec 14,2014. At check out there was no option for expedited shipping and was quoted a ship date of Jan. 8,2015. AsJan 8 came and went we notified them that we hadn't received the print. They "reordered" it with an expected delivery date of Jan. 20. Wow! I ordered it on Dec. 14. Just received another e-mail with a new expected delivery date of Jan. 27. Hopefully we get it. Not a trustworthy company. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for". In our case I HOPE SO! ONE STAR IS TOO MANY
Ordered tow Lilah chairs. One of the chairs they sent was wrong but more disturbing than this is the fact that I payed $300 per chair and when they came they looked like they were made for a child! They were so tiny and short I couldn't believe it. The quality was very poor. Of course there is no refund on them so I'm stuck with a $600. Store credit! A really expensive lesson for me! I will use my credit wisely and carefully and then wash my hands of this website forever.
With an all shipping company, the return policy does not allow returns, only exchanges. Need the shoes for a trip, the site did not allow me to change anything about shipping method accept the address.
The quality of their products is a big hit or a big miss. I've gotten a few things that exceeded my expectations, while others were so cheaply made that I returned them even though it was a huge hassle because they were big/bulky... hard to repackage and I had to arrange pick up from UPS. I was tempted to keep them because I didn't want to go through all that, but one item in particular was so bad that I just couldn't keep it because of principal. It was a $350+ (Tipton) sideboard that was made of 1/4" thick pressed wood. The color shown was an antique white, but what arrived was more in the yellow category, and there were 3 paint drips so thick that I could break them off. Customer Service won't hear about the lack of quality because it's in the eye of the beholder. I understand that, but when you pay for shipping both ways and then UPS pick up, it's made me very leery of buying anything else.
Simply put, I LOVE JOSSANDMAIN! My home is filled with items ordered from this site. I am inspired by and love to put together from the fire sale themes that reflects my decorating style. My style tends to be contemporary, glam, chic, a bit Hollywood (I am after all, from southern California) but love organic living as well. JossandMain offers every taste of home decor (and fashion accessories) that a design craze like me can only dream of accessing. I am obsessed! My home is work in progress but happy to fill it with JossandMain collection.
I was thrilled to be able to purchase some wall art that I'd had my eye on for a long time. I was holding my breath hoping they'd come back and they did. The prices were also affordable which really helped! My only frustration is that this is the first time I've purchased from Joss & Main and I didn't realize that once an item was added to my shopping bag, that it would only be held for 10 minutes! I needed more time to browse and would have purchased more, but I was running out of time. Yesterday, I found a lovely bird feeder "Callie Birdfeeder" that had just been advertised as a new event, but when I went to buy it tonight, it said the event was over. Maybe there was a glitch or something. I sure hope it comes back! I would have given a 5 star review if it weren't for those 2 things. Other than that, my experience was nice and I really appreciated the free shipping, too. Thank you!
I ordered a bed off the website and when I finally received after waiting almost a month; the bed was missing the 4 major pieces I needed if I even wanted to set the bed up! I I was inconvenienced and now have to sleep on the floor on my mattress until the other pieces come in! Will never order from this site again!
We ordered Deidrian 84" Etagere on May 2. The estimated delivery date was May 23. Last week, I contacted them and they were unable to give me an update on delivery. The tracking number provided proved of no use. Today, May 31, we were notified that the order had been lost. We could re-order and it would be here by June 21. According to customer service representatives, they have no way to expedite delivery even though they "lost" the order. Oh, by the way, it will take 3-5 business days to process our refund. Funny... It didn't take that long to process our payment. Wayfair, Joss and Main and some other companies are all related. Wish I could find out what other companies so I could avoid them as well.
Cannot and will not recommend this company! Not happy!
I purchased 2 chairs for just over $600 a piece. Two weeks after I placed the order, the same chairs were offered on their website for just over $500 a piece. I contacted Customer service and asked for a $200 credit and Brandon replied sorry, no credit. Really? Any other retailer would be happy to credit. Maybe I should just return them? I will never to business with them.
All the items are of good quality. If there is an issue, their Customer Care Department makes short work of fixing you problem.
Delivery is all ways prompt. If there is any delay, Joss and Main contact you to make you
Aware of any changes.
Do not order from them ever! Worst experience. The shipping is crap. You can't cancel anything and not have to pay. Anything returned you get charged for shipping. I will NEVER order from here again! I waited way longer for my order, I'm not happy.

Absolutely horrible experience from start to finish. First my simple item (a nightstand) was delayed 3 times. The third time I asked them to refund me and they issued it and then cancelled the refund because the item was already being shipped. I was sent a fedex tracking number which never issued a delivery date due to them not receiving the package. Then I called them and the representative told me it probably got lost and would reorder it. Today (7 weeks after I ordered it) I called to ask for an update, the reorder had not been issued. Absolute incompetency, will never use this company (or Wayfair by association) again, and will go out of my way to make sure as many people as possible don't use this redundant platform.
After having problems with placing order on this site I got in touch with customer service, they got back with me in a timely manner and was able to place my order this afternoon. So pleased with doing business with this site and the prices are reasonable.
Site advertised free shipping. Purchased bookcase. Pop-up message emphasized free shipping. Checked out and learned that there would be an additional shipping charge for the bookcase. I think when free shipping is emphasized -- as it is in the marketing campaigns for competitive online businesses -- it should be mean free shipping with no exceptions.
I received the wrong color furniture twice! I was promised the second delivery would be correct - nope!
They didn't seem to care that I waited for over a month with no furniture and I had to wait for them to receive the return until I was refunded.
After my last horrible conversation with this company I filed a complaint with my credit card company who has buyer protection. If yours doesn't you might consider it. This used to be a pleasant company to deal with - no more.
It's very disappointing to see something that I like, only to see that it's already sold out. That's very frustrating. Joss and main have a lot of very unique items that I can only afford when they are on sale. Yet I hate to look at their sales, because so much sells out so quickly,. I wish they would remove the items from the site once they sell out.
I tried to buy two products that one depends on the other. They came back a day later to tell me the first item was not available, and they can't cancel the second item, that without the first is useless.
I love shopping at Joss and Main. I have gotten several pieces of furniture and decor at great, unbeatable prices. Love the unique varieties offered everyday. Every shopping experience has been a success and the customer service is also unbeatable!
Answer: Everything that I have ordered so far has been excellent. One time, the item just didn't quite look great in my bedroom. I returned it no questions asked for a full credit. Nether even paid the postage. I could have returned it for a full refund but I would had to pay the postage. In any event, very flexible on returns, which, as I say, has only happened once.

Answer: Hello - I always wash any fabric product before using - but I use my "gentle" cycle and only cold water without any soap. This always works for me and keeps the fabric in good shape without any chemical products still there.
Answer: I would copy and paste the name and model number of this particular sofa in a search engine and a shop bot like Nextag or Bizrate. This may find some reviews on other sites and sometimes even a better price or return option.

Answer: You get what you pay for with Joss and Main. Google the details like the measurements and comments about the fabric because they often rename their items. I have been mostly happy with my items because I have reasonable expectations regarding quality. I don't expect to get something for nothing. Personally, I wouldn't buy a couch unless I could sit in it first but that's just me. Joss and Main is good with damage claims and they are responsive but you need to be careful about what you buy.
