We need to replace our Christmas Flag in our Yard-DOING it is another thing... finding the perfect flag at Joss & Main today means getting to show it to my husband, placing the order and paying with PayPal... what's not to love!? He didn't have to go shopping with me, it won't show up on our credit card (we love using PayPal) and we paid shipping charges for the next 30 days! As Prime members of Amazon, we love paying no add'l ship charges! Thanks!

The methods they use for shipping are horrible I ordered 2 items the same day and paid the same day.
Back in november 28/14 still have not received either item to this date dec, 19 /14
Called they say on its way may arrive dec 22 or 23/14 wow a month to get something delivered horrible service. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
I have had wonderful service from Josh and Main but I've never purchased anything as big and expensive as a sofa. JM has honored its promise on store credit for me in every way and tries very hard to please the customer. All being said, I think you would be wise to keep looking for ways to find somewhere you can test the sofa's comfort. Also talk to JM customer service who I'm sure has encountered this problem before.
So I ordered a set of four chairs from Joss and Main back in May of 2018. As of today, February of 2019, I had the welds on the back the chair legs let go, and almost collapse underneath me (bizarre, since I'm a 6 foot, 180 lb dude; not exactly obese). I called J&M, and they were extremely sympathetic (none of this "what did you do wrong" crap that a lot of companies give you), and sent me a 2 pack replacement of chairs right away. No equivocations, no BS. THAT is the kind of customer service that I can get behind. They didn't manufacture the chair so it wasn't their fault, but they still stood behind the product. J&M, you will have plenty more of my business in the future. Thank you for being awesome.
Doing a bathroom remodel and our contractor ordered what I wanted from this sight, because it said delivery would be by July 30th, 2020, it is now August 4th and we still have nothing and all we are told is that they will notify when it ships! Don't trust anything they promise! First time buyer and most likely last!
Disappointing shopping experience!
• While the site is attractive, it is far from user-friendly. If there is a smart-search feature, I wasn't able to find it. I had to shop through each collection and scan for my specific need: dressers - timely and annoying.
• Advertised "Free Shipping" (which actually only covers the $9.95 "standard shipping" rate ;) not the extra $400 in "additional shipping" I incurred!? Not false advertising; just tricky marketing tactics!
• Lastly, the shopping cart has a count-down clock. Considering how hard it is to find what I'm looking for on the site, don't pressure me to find everything in 10 minutes before you erase my cart's contents!
This site is full of beautiful things and ideas. I was hesitant at first because you can't even peruse the site without giving up your email address, but it's worth it. And you can always unsubscribe. I found the exact centerpieces for my daughter's wedding here. Gorgeous.
Joss & Main is good with many things, but if you find an item, be sure to look through the rest of their similar items to make sure they don't offer it at a lesser price. I had purchased an item and a day later was looking in that category again. Unfortunately, I saw that same exact item for $100+ less (my original purchase was also still listed at the higher price). I called them thinking they would honor the lower price and they said they could not! I feel this is a deceptive business practice. So make sure you aren't cheated out of $100 and check the entire category before ordering!
I have to give a couple of stars because sometimes I see things on Joss & Main that are unique and interesting. But I have so many times found items that are available on Amazon or Overstock but priced so much higher on Joss & Main that I am shocked. Recent example: Example: Faye IndoorOutdoor Pillow, sale priced $43.99. You can buy a PAIR of the very same pillows on Amazon for $46. That's nearly 100% higher price. This is not the first time. I provided some feedback to J&M customer service about it, thinking it could just be a mistake. Their response? "We encourage shoppers to shop around." Loosely translated: Buyer Beware. I've placed my last order with them. I just can't support that kind of arrogance.
I just visited this site and while the product design is gorgeous, the materials used and the price tags worthy of the phrase "Buyer beware". They had a 9 cube shelving unit listed for just under $90. This item was made of engineered wood (aka MDF) and particle board and something that big box retailers routinely have in stock for less than half that price. They had two Adirondack chairs and a table which was made from "polywood" for $849, To be fair, the also had a single Adirondack chair made from cedar for $122 and the matching table was about $32. Rugs made from Art silk - seriously - artificial silk. If you are looking for inspiration then this is a great place to find it, but I suggest you shop around an purchase elsewhere.
Requested 7 seats, one conveyed with a stain. Effectively just went online to my request and could clarify harm through an online shape, now the organization is sending a spic and span one in its place, no profits essential. Super simple
Still waiting for 1 item, it has been almost a month. First 2 items came under one tracking number, however, only 1 item arrived, called them. They said the second item was backordered, but no email stating that. The last item has an expected delivery date of today, however, on their site, no tracking number and no email stating it did not ship. I guess I need to make another call. It appears their customer service and communication is 'extremely lacking'. I will not be ordering from J & M again.
I wish i could do 0 stars, lying thieving money hungry scheming company. Offers gift certificates but does not have a system in place or operating to let customers use said gift certificate. Joss and Main offers one price for an item, allows customers to purchase that item and then cancels the order days later. After canceling order due to non sufficient stock a day later adds it back to their website with a $10 price increase. Joss and Main said it's not their fault the price was wrong, then whose was it? Maybe your incompetent workers or your non-pleasing managers who really don't help much?
My dresser came and I was surprised at the horrendous quality. I saw the made in china sticker and ordered a lead paint test from Amazon. Sure enough, the paint used on the dresser contains lead. Do your due diligence, Joss & Main! It is ridiculous that this site is passing off this horrible quality of furniture - that contains lead paint! - and doesn't have a beat on their vendors. Stay away.
No problems in the ordering process. This is a big plus. No problem with my email address... that's a big plus! So far, very satisfied. However, I am not thrilled about how you continue to ask about other shopping experiences. I am not going to answer any more questions. If it is lost... so be it. Linda Lyle
Products on the site look great and it is easy to see the dimensions and to order. For my bank account at this time, most of the things are above my limit, but there is always hope for the future. And, so far, I love the storage ottoman that I have ordered. It sounds durable and sturdy - the perfect idea for a living room. Also, a neutral color for most styles.
Ordered a king headboard on 12/21/16. No one can find the headboard even though it says on the tracking meter that it's ready for delivery. They have a very backwards system for being everywhere on the internet. Never order from them. If I could give them a zero I would. Don't waste your time. I would be surprised if I actually get my credit on time. Horrible!
I love the products. The concern is with the length that it takes to receive them. I have been waiting over a month for a mirror that was supposed to be shipped in March then received an email stating it would ship by April and when I review my orders it just shows that it is still processing...
Cancelled orders when they made a pricing mistake on certain items. I understand doing this, but doing it more than 72 hours after the purchase and not refunding the shipping charge on other items purchased to ship freely with mispriced item, absolutely not okay. Much better websites to buy from!
This site is fun and good in theory but has been very poor in execution. I have made 5 purchases from them and 4 have had issues. A MONTH after one purchase I received a notice that my items were on back order and I still don't have a potential ship date. It's fun to look at all of the different things they have but since I started watching new listings I have been seeing identical items at places like Pier 1 and TJ Maxx for less and you don't have to deal with their poor shipping issues. It pays to shop around.
Answer: Everything that I have ordered so far has been excellent. One time, the item just didn't quite look great in my bedroom. I returned it no questions asked for a full credit. Nether even paid the postage. I could have returned it for a full refund but I would had to pay the postage. In any event, very flexible on returns, which, as I say, has only happened once.

Answer: Hello - I always wash any fabric product before using - but I use my "gentle" cycle and only cold water without any soap. This always works for me and keeps the fabric in good shape without any chemical products still there.
Answer: I would copy and paste the name and model number of this particular sofa in a search engine and a shop bot like Nextag or Bizrate. This may find some reviews on other sites and sometimes even a better price or return option.

Answer: You get what you pay for with Joss and Main. Google the details like the measurements and comments about the fabric because they often rename their items. I have been mostly happy with my items because I have reasonable expectations regarding quality. I don't expect to get something for nothing. Personally, I wouldn't buy a couch unless I could sit in it first but that's just me. Joss and Main is good with damage claims and they are responsive but you need to be careful about what you buy.
