I made two purchases, nothing special and then one day I was going to recommend it to a friend. I looked up the prices of her brand of dog food for her and the bags were in my cart to see what the total would be with a coupon code. It wouldn't save her any money, so I backed out of the site and finished my call with her. Then I get an email stating that my order was placed successfully! What!?!? I never ordered anything, the three bags of dog food were still in my cart right? Nope, JET. COM decided to do me a favor and go ahead and place the order, why not, they had my credit card information, I guess they must have thought i forgot to hit purchase, confirm, and how I wanted to pay for it. I called and spoke with a "jethead", she suggested I "butt purchased it". Really, I hit 1.) Place order 2.) Payment 3.) Confirm order all with my butt, now that's talent.
I was furious, she said she would get back to after the weekend, never heard back from her. I wrote several emails, got a different "jethead" responding to each, I guess no one person follows up with complaints and they must not have any supervisors, because I asked several times and never got a response from a supervisor, just another random "jethead". I'm an email I stated "I would feel safer if I closed my account" since the website placed an unauthorized order. The next email I got said "We have closed your account"... Really? I never approved that either, this company just makes its own decisions for you, what you will buy and when you close your account. Beware, do not give them access to anything!
Very dissatisfied, if I could pick no stars I would have. My boyfriend wanted to buy me a camera for my birthday and he needed to use my debit card to order it. (He lost his and is awaiting a new one)
Anyway he placed the order and they cancelled it. We called in and they asked me how long I had been at my address for, 2 cross roads and the name of a close gas station and grocery store? Is this place legit? The camera was only a little over $400, I have made bigger purchases on Amazon with no hassle what so ever. So the customer service rep says the account is verified and unlocked. We go back online and place the order again. We receive another email saying that it was canceled and to call in. I call in and they ask me for MY I.D. AND PICTURE OF MY DEBIT CARD. Wowww, no thanks. We cancelled everything and wasted so much time trying to figure this out. How is this not fraud? Do you really trust your employees with that info? We ended up buying the camera off Amazon. Good luck if you want to buy something, be prepared to go through a few hoops and send pics of your personal info.
Cheaper item sent and no apology. They ran out of the advertised item so they substituted a cheaper item thinking they would get away with it.
Will never purchase from Jet again.

Avoid at all costs - cancels orders where they won't make enough money even though they let you order. This is the 3rd time they have canceled one of my orders. Very frustrating.

I never used jet before but i was soing research online and found the item i was looking for on their website for alot cheaper than any else. So i created an account then purchased the item. The next day i get an email from them saying my order was cancelled and account was suspended please call our verification team. I called and they said my billing address did not match with my debit card which it actually did by the way. They then asked for me to send a copy of my ID, Debit card and piece of mail so that they can verification my address. I never would usually send my personal information to a strong over the phone but i wanted the item so badly i emailed them the personal information. They then email me back claiming that the photos of my ID, debit card and piece of mail with my address was not good enough. I then told them to just cancel my account and to delete my personal information from their system. I called them and the man answered then hanged up the phone on me. I cancelled my debit card and got a new driver license because i felt like i would have been a victim of fraud eventually because they were up to something very suspicious, and it did not seem right. I will never use the creepy website again ill just stick with Amazon and Ebay.
Jet is HORRIBLE, the customer service is horrible, they couldn't tell me the status of my order nor they wouldn't even let me cancel my $#*!ing order after a whole week of it "processing". Listen, do yourself a favor and just pay the extra $10 from amazon. Way less of a hassle. Btw they are in partnership with walmart somehow bc when I FINALLY received my $#*!, it said it was from WALMART.
First of all, it took these guys 2 days and a phone call to "unsuccessfully" verify my personal information. I received a phone call as they wanted to ask me a couple of questions to validate my billing info. After the phone call they told me everything looks fine and that they'll go ahead and process the order. After two full days they suddenly contacted me via email only to tell me that their "3rd party information verify-er" rejected the validity and that I had to send in more information to get the process moving. I get that they're trying to be cautious but I think they're just trying to cut costs by having a 3rd party validate information for them. I mean it's totally acceptable to outsource these types of operations but a company should only do so when they're sure that these information transactions will happen in a timely manner without causing delays and bad experiences for customers on their site.
They boast about their "Special Algorithm" that allows them to cut costs for us customers but in reality, they're just an Amazon knock-off trying to lure new customers in with some upfront savings. I'd rather pay a couple of more bucks and shop on Amazon or even Ebay, where at least know I wouldn't have to worry about my order not going through because of some obscure reason.

My first and only experience with the Walmart owned Jet.com was terrible. I ordered a Panasonic KX-TGE463S Cordless Phone, what was shipped was the much cheaper model KX-TG633. Additionally, the phone was not properly packed in a corrugated shipping box, but only in the manufacturer's thin cardboard display box. The UPS Driver could not believe that any business would ship their product in this haphazard manner. The box was delivered open and damaged with all three handsets missing.
Jet refunded the purchase price, but would not honor my order. I was left with the distinct impression that Jet felt this was their merchants problem and not theirs. However, if this is a pervasive problem, then Jet must revamp their business processes for selecting and vetting potential merchants. I do understand that it much easier for Jet to issue a refund rather than to work closely with their merchants to ensure that their customer receives exactly what was ordered.

The preceding quote from Jet is at the heart of the problem. There is a big difference between wishing and doing.
It seems crystal clear that Jet would prefer to distance themselves from their problematic vendor/merchants rather than to work with them to guarantee that customer orders placed on the Jet Website are honored. It appears that Jet has little interest in achieving total customer satisfaction.
Jet.com is a new site that is supposed to rival amazon in service and prices. I decided to give them a chance and ordered an expensive camera lens for my digital camera. They charged my card and then when i tried to login to my account i never could. The password never worked either. Fast forward a few hours later, I cant login to Jet.com, cant reset my password, and my credit card charges have dropped from pending. THEY DELETED MY ACCOUNT. They silently cancelled my order without a reason and closed my account. When i called them to find out whats going on and when will my order ship, they put me on hold for more than 10 minutes and transferred me to a different department to tell me that my order was cancelled and my account was deleted. Wtf? And the reason? None! This is the sketchiest practices i have ever seen from a company that wants to rival Amazon. This is laughable. Seems like a regular thing they do. Just google jet.com reviews and you see.
I have been buying from Amazon for a long time and i have never been treated like this. In addition, the majority of their products are fulfilled by third party merchants that you never heard of before as opposed to Amazon that fulfills most of the products they offer themselves. You take a gamble thats for sure. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this unfaithful company at any cost
I purchased a $400 kitchen island table from this crappy website, and all I got was a broken kitchen island table. The customer service is 100x crappier than Amazon, and they couldn't even solve my issue. I just wanted a replacement, or a refund back.
You would think that $400 table would be nice.:(

On Feb 20th I place an order for a Macbook Air battery. The estimated deliver was Feb 23 - Feb 28. It's now March 2 and all Jet will tell me is they are working with the supplier. When I asked for an estimated delivery date, they refuse to provide a delivery time estimate. I asked to cancel the order so I can order the battery elsewhere and Jet refused to allow me to cancel the order. My option is to now wait for an unknown amount of time for the battery. Not a very good outcome for me. Jet offered me $20 credit on my next order for the inconvenience. I explained the credit was nice, but I really needed the battery, not the $20 credit. It's very foolish attempting to substitute a $20 pacifier for an inflexible cancellation policy and not providing me any information about delivery times. I call this horrible customer service. If you plan to order from Jet please understand this is how they treat their customers. Good luck ordering from Jet. I have been an Amazon Prime member for years and have never had a problem with Amazon and will never again order from Jet. I have emails from Jet to support everything I have described.
I left a favorable review for jet last january 2017 when I ordered fiji water. The second time I ordered I almost threw up. I went to open one of the 1.5 liter bottles of fiji when I thought I saw something floating in the still unopened bottle! When I looked closely what I saw was what looked like a tiny piece of snot (maybe 1/4inch long) floating in the water! Of course I was horrified, and when I called jet they of course gave me a full refund. So I'm not sure if I should be leaving a negative review for jet, since it wasn't their problem, unless it had something to do with the way they were storing the fiji bottles for shipment. Nonetheless, since the bottles came from jet, I won't be ordering any bottled water from them again. When I notified fiji, they didn't even apologize, just told me they'd be happy to send me a UPS call tag, and to just go ahead and return it! Yeah, right! So they can sweep it under the rug? Nope. I decided I'm gonna get it professionally analyzed by a lab to see what the hell's really going on. When I get the results I'll be putting my fiji.com review here. Might just have to break down and join FB so I can spread the word...
I was sending a towable tube to my brother for letting us use his condo on the beach different address of course and also my sisters different order I was sending lollipops! So innocent- different address of course! JET CANCELLED MY ORDERS AND ACCUSED ME OF DROP SHIPPING AND SAID THEY DISABLED MY ACCOUNT! Just from buying gifts! They didnt even ask me they just accused!
What the heck! Take your business elsewhere!
I ordered a car radio and installation kit on Jet recently. Jet gave no indication that the radio was not in stock when I ordered it and my order went through. And hour later, I get an e-mail saying that the radio order was canceled due to them having none in stock, but the installation kit was still shipping. I called Jet to cancel the entire order but I was told that it was outside of their 30 minute cancellation window. So even though it had not shipped, I could not cancel. I was told that I could just return the kit for a refund when I received it. But, I had no intention of ever returning this order so I had chosen to exclude the free return shipping from my order. The price for the return shipping was about the same as the price for the item itself so I would not get any money back. I re-ordered the radio from Crutchfield (for a slightly higher price) and it came with an installation kit. The kit I got from Jet just went into the trash. I will be canceling my account with Jet and I will stick with Amazon from now on.
They were great before walmart bought them, prices went up 40%, I guess they didn't want the competition and don't really care if anyone orders...
