Stay away! I needed to exchange shoes for a different size. The response was to ship back to warehouse in Vietnam at considerable expense or buy the shoes again.

This company's website claims their shoes are orthopedic. TOTAL LIE. JC website claims to make returns easy. TOTAL LIE... they make you return to Vietnam. No Vietnam returns info on website. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. DON'T BUY FROM THIS SITE. A BUSINESS THAT WILL TAKE AMERICAN DOLLARS, CHEAT, ADVERTISE DECEPTIVELY, STICK IT TO THE CUSTOMER.

What a fraud
September 23, 2020

AGAIN I have been stung. Me thinking this business was located in CA I thought I had a pretty good chance this business was legit. When it was taking forever to get my shoes I contacted them and they said..."Because of the COVID things were having to be shipped from another country". REALLY? Anyway, when I received the shoes, which I ordered the same size as I have worn for many years, my toes came to the very end and they are extremely narrow. Of course I have been back and forth with these people trying to return them for a refund. Once I convinced them I should have the right to determine if the shipping cost is too much, they have finally given me an address to mail them back... LOW AND BEHOLD I have to send them back to HANOI - NOT CALIFORNIA. GO FIGURE

Very long wait to be shipped from China, and the shoes are 2 different sizes. I will be returning them, and expect to have just as much difficulty as getting them!

I ordered bra's, and they are a knock off brand and fit. I was ignored by them until it was too expensive to shop back. The items come from across the globe, and aren't good quality.

The website claims they were shipped to USPS nine days ago and there is NO record of them anywhere. Plan to call my credit card company and challenge the charge.

Worst company ever

5/19/20 ordered shoes from Janecloset. Had to request an update. Email from Pooh, sent me a link to USPS with a tracking number USPS doesn't recognize. Have requested cancellation 3x, no response. Reporting to credit card Company for refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM JANECLOSET. SCAM!

Been waiting about. Eight weeks for my order and no package yet. Tried calling, no answer, tried email, no replies ever. They say they respond back within 24 hrs. Have tried for weeks to contact them, no responds. The tracking number is fake. Says my package was in California, Indiana, and Tennessee at the same time. Then weeks later was in South Carolina then week later in Memphis Tennessee,
It is in China I'm sure. They want you to think they are an American company, but they aren't, they have an address in California but they are a China company. If you think you want to order from janes closet please read the reviews first, and you will change your mind. They are a rip off. China made crap. Dishonest people, never do what they say. It's been near. Two months, tried many times to contact with no results. All they want from you is your money. Will never do business with janes closet ever again. They don't even deserve a zero. I would rate them a minus 100. Very very very disappointed. Never seen a worst company

SANDELS ARE TO SMALL AND THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT THEM TO BE SHIPPED BACK TO THERE WAREHOUSE. THEY SAID THEY MAY GIVE ME 30% OFF ON ANOTHER ORDER. I DO NOT WANT ANOTHER ORDER I ONLY WANT A REFUND AND THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME A REFUND. ALL SANDELS ARE CHEAPLY MADE AND SHIPPED TO US FROM CHINA. THEY SHOULD BE FINED AND SHUT DOWN! AND IT TOOK 2 MONTHS TO GET THE HORRIBLE SANDLES.

I ordered a bra for $29 that took 5 weeks to come, but it was in the midst of COVID. The bra was much smaller than I expected. I contacted them for a refund. I sent them a photo of the bra, showing it to be in perfect condition, and indicating the size. Their website had said they would get back to me within 5-10 days. After 17 days, I contacted Capitol One to launch a fraud dispute. I got an immediate response from them requesting more pictures, and wanting to work with their development department on sizing. They also reminded me they have a sizing chart on their website. I sent them back an email saying they already had the required picture from me, I did not want to talk to them about sizing, I want to return the bra for a full refund. I heard nothing further from them. Capitol One re-charged my account, because Jane Closet showed them proof I had received the bra. I spoke with Capitol One fraud department again, and as a goodwill gesture they credited the $29 to my account. So chalk one up to Jane Closet for defeating me and Capitol One by wearing me out. Good for Capitol One for their mercy in refunding my money, but absolutely no penalty to Jane Closet. Lesson learned for me.

KEEP IT!

I ordered the AZZY Premium Orthopedic Casual Sneaker and I'm not usually one not read the reviews, but this time I didn't read a single one before I placed my order! So I still don't have my order and after looking at the pictures of the shoes that I'm supposed to get here under the reviews... I'M GOING TO TAKE THIS LOSS AS LESSON LEARNED AND YOU CAN KEEP THEM RAGGEDY $#*! SHOES AND PUT THEM IN THE TRASH, BECAUSE IF ACTUALLY GET THEM, I WILL TOSS THEM! YOU GUYS SUCK ON SO MANY LEVELS!

From what I can see, the company is based in California, but their items are shipped from overseas. The items look as if I bought them off of Wish. One shoe was bigger than the other and not made of great quality at all. I tried contacting them after two months of order and I got a response saying their call center was under reconstruction (this was in Oct 0f 2020) and that coronavirus had delayed shipping. Okay, that was a thing at that time so I let it go. It took a couple of more months before I actually received my packaged.

The shoes were not in a box and were just stuffed into a white packaging envelope. The shoes were damaged and one was even crushed. They did not fit right, one was bigger than the other, and the 'orthopedic' sole was laughable and instead felt like the inside was made out of cardboard.

I tried contacting the company, both calling (no answers ever) and emailing (they never bothered to respond). So I finally reported them to the BBB who also had no luck. Here is what the BBB just sent me:

This site should be rated a 0 star. I purchased a pair of shoes from Jane Closet. They arrived with uneven stitching on the toe and heel. I wrote to them asking for a refund and return address. I was told (after another request and a week of waiting) that they do not refund shipping costs, but would refund cost of the shoes once they were received. The problem is that they needed to be returned to Vietnam and the cost was $25.00. I was not going to wear the shoes, so I decided to return them and at least only lose 1/2 my money. I sent them off, and then received a request from someone in Vietnam for the phone number of the business because the address was a large building with many businesses. Another couple of emails to Jane Closet asking for a phone number has elicited no response. So, at present I am sending emails to Vietnam and to Jane Closet trying to get help and am now out another $25.00. I doubt I'll ever see any of my money returned, and I am furious. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE. IT'S A COMPLETE SCAM.
