I have Intoxalock and have a monthly 'data processing fee' of $3.25. Not sure why this isn't included in the total amount they steal from me every month. I called billing and the only explanation they could give me was that 'that's the fee we charge for processing the data.' Ooooohhhhhhh that clears it up. This company is littered with knuckle draggers.

Very unhappy customer

Interlock is horrible they claim they are the best but in fact even the DMV claims they are getting worse and worse. Every appointment I make they send me 45 minutes away from my home to these getto like establishments and on multiple times they set my appointment and I arrive and make me wait half hour or more in these shady locations. Then make excuses for why you have to wait when they clearly made other appointments to squeeze in new clients at your expense. Let alone the cost is three times as much as other companies and the line behind me as I'm writing this review is growing SMH but ask them they are the best ya we love just lining up to hand you out hard earned money

Just report them to the Better Business Bureau. *******@intoxalock.com is a joke. Their inbox is full and they reject your emails.
Customer service is only good when you are paying and setting up your device. You'll never speak to a human besides that ever again. My device was to be taken out in October 2023 and it's not half way through December 2023. They are still taking my money biweekly, still making me calibrate the device. Still can't get ahold of a human. I have put in multiple device removal requests. I have called customer service to deal with a robot. I have called the state, my lawyer and even the judge to be told "call customer service". Since my device was installed, my lights go on at random times. I'm an asthmatic and I have almost died while driving multiple times breathing 3 or 4 times in a row into the machine because "breathe harder next time". You can't auto start your vehicle or be away from it in winter so you'll freeze until your car warms up and you can take off. I highly do not recommend this company or this device.

I've only been hung up twice from intoxalock today...
Very professional company. They can lose data, charge criminal fees and tell lies from one agent to another.
Currently paying for a lockout for an unauthorized start. I literally admitted I do it weekly and she says they have no data for it. Why would I admit that? How doesn't that show direct evidence intoxalock is failing.

Not to mention the added car fees this unit provides to your car. We are talking new battery every max 10 months. Starters go out much faster.

The units themselves are all inconsistent. I live in mn and one can stop working in 40 degrees and one will work all winter long. I just blew into my unit before being hung up on and all I did was blow twice. It's pretty sickening to have to call in sick once every 3 month cycle just to figure out what is wrong with the device now, or what problems the device is leaving my car.
Not to mention sometimes you need to blow 5 times just for it to actually process. Never do automatic payments because the only way to get in contact with someone is to pay 111 million dollars and then they want your card info.
When you are all we have and the only people we can go to, it would be nice to be able to rely on the company. Not be terrified about what will be next.
Not to mention they deleted my last review.

This is a joke and a big money gimmick! Customer service and supervisors aren't helpful - the ONLY thing you can guarentee with them is they will bill your credit card regularly for anything & everything, but other than that good luck getting any issues fixed! Make sure you do research in the installing company first - if it's not installed correctly - it will cause damages to your vehicle. They will say they will pay to fix - ha good luck with getting any money from they! Do NOT recommend this device. Use a different device - do your research first!

Do not use intoxalock.

I installed this volentererly in my car. I've had issues of it draining my battery, lock outs because I've unplugged it because it was draining my battery and just a lot of other issues. There is no way to contact the 'company' via email that I can find. Everything is out sourced to an Indian call center where no one knows the answer or I am given different answers each time. I've learned more from having the device than any of the call center folks. What a joke this shame of a company is, what a waste. Do not use them for anything unless you want to continue your pain and suffering. God grant me serenity.

I paid $120 for device removal and $269 for early termination to switch to a different device and it was totally worth it. There are too many devices out there with a 3 second blow and rare rolling retests and stow away nicely. This one doesn't even function.

To begin, the hold time is ridiculous. EVERY single phone call is frustrating, annoying and rarely accomplishes anything. Two weeks ago I was transferred to about 13 different people. They SAY your call is being recorded but IF that is true, does anyone ever listen to the call for "training purposes", unless they specifically train their customer service employees to say they can't help you but they'll connect you to someone who can...then they connect you to someone else who also cannot help you.
After 2 hours on the phone on 10/21/23, one person told me "the company has you on a hamster wheel". Intoxalock KNOWS that their devices are defective, giving the driver erroneous readings which causes violations, which provides Intoxalock with more $$ through the violations and also by keeping the device on the car longer. The company should be investigated for it's practices and the number of faulty or defective devices it installs.

They over charge compared to other places. They tell their installers things that make your system fail. Their customer service is obstinate, not helpful. The shops that are installing for them are quitting left and right so service is nearly impossible. This company coast us a ton of money and time..

Horrible thieves!

They told us one price and charged us double! Constantly took out more money then they said they were going too! It also caused our car to stop working so now we have to get a new car and lost a bunch of money because they took out twice what they said!Do not use them if you can avoid it! When we called to tell them they were rude and lied and did it again! Horrible company!

Absolutely trash

$54 biweekly for a machine that will read deadly leaves of intoxication (while stone cold sober) but the car would still start, never reported to my probation officer, would lock me out for no reason at all and leave me stranded in the 113°texas summer. Car is disabled and they admit theyre wrong. Need a tow? Too bad. Here's a $10 discount next month. I received an email with instructions to help with the device in cold weather. It got down to 40 two nights ago. I followed the instructions in the email. Guess who woke up with a lock out. $75 they want... I'm so sick of this company

My original sentence with this device was six months. After six months when I called to get the device removed Intoxalock told me that I had to use the device for another three months. No one had any talks a lot could tell me why and calling the state of Missouri led to an endless circle of found trees that never got me through to anyone. So I served another three months and just called to have that they have the device removed and was told that I have to use the device for another three months, but Intoxilyzer claims that they have no idea why. If the state made the decision that I have to use that advice for three more months. They must've based that decision on data that data could've only come from Intoxalock yet in taxa lock times complete ignorance about why the state might have made that decision. This is a scam. And talks a lock benefits by continuing to extend the leases. Have any of you gotten your device removed after the first period of time that you were sentenced to use it? I'm guessing the answer is not very many of you have, and that we've all received extensions

If i can give this company a -100 star i definitely would. Please go with any other choice but intoxalock. Worse! Company ever. They will get you on any violation they can get you for not realted to alcohol! They will say that they are not obligated to tell you why theres a violation and you have to pay 80 ever reset even if its not your fault. I was paying 340 a month with all violation and never did i blow any alcohol. You would call and try to find out why and they would come up with bogus excuses! Do not, but do not ever go with this company, they're the worse company i have ever delt with and so much money you will spend with their so called violations.

Very upset abused customer! The worst

The worst possible company you could go with. Lousy service, very unprofessional, I was hung up on when I tried to complain about my XM antenna being disconnected when I had the device removed. They are the most expensive, And absolutely do not go with them. If you have any breathing issues, it constantly says blow harder and you have to blow, suck blow, if you have asthma or copd you will have major problems as I did. I was over charged for things I did not ask for and charged $67. For a week past my disconnect. Fair warning, look at more reviews, they will cheat you!

First of all, I don't think intoxalocka cares what people think how they run their business. Where does the $80 fine go to that Intoxalock lot collect for when a lockout occurs?Do they profit off an imposed fine that doesn't have any ties to the courts. And then on top of that, Intoxalock will have no discussion about a lockout that's reasonable to the average person.

Scam artists

Do yourself a favor and do research before selecting a lock system. Don't sign a contract with them. Hidden fees around every corner. Customer service barely speaks clear English. If I could give negative stars, I would.

DONT DO THIS...

Extremely hard to operate, you will be charged monthly plus calibration fee plus any other fee that comes along. No one will be able to service your car or able to drive your vehicle. The test comes every 5 minutes after you started the car "called" random testing. If you have to drive 30 minutes be ready to blow in the device 5 times. Process you will have to keep your mouth on the device the entire time. You have to blow hard for 5 seconds then exhale for 5 seconds and blow again for 3 seconds without moving your mouth. If you fail, guess what you have to start over. Anyone over the age of 30 will have difficulty completing the task.

The initial agent I signed up was amazing. She sold me on this company with her customer and empathy along with a rebate. I followed directions for the rebate and NEVER RECEIVED it. I've had several issues with lack of customer service afterwards. I purchased another vehicle and needed to switch the device from one car to another and was quoted one price only to drive 2hrs and a higher fee quoted to me. Several times the device didn't prompt correctly for breathe which when I just recently calibrated my device they switched it. Now two days later I've been sitting in my vehicle for an hour unable to start it due to a device failure. Spoke to one agent name Luis who basically tells me there is nothing that can be done to aide me during my crisis. The service center is closed and that I can make an appointment with my service center on Saturday. Only for me to Google and notify my service center is closed all weekend. Have to uber home leave my brand new vehicle at my employer. Called back spoke to a different agent and was told to call back in the morning and schedule an appt for a different service center and call and have my vehicle towed to the service center. All a huge inconvenience to me the consumer. Nothing appears to be in place for the consumer in a crisis situation. I dont reccomend this company. There is no customer service department to make complaints and when you ask for a supervisor you get disconnected. This place stresses you out and the lack of empathy is heartbreaking and frustrating.

Do Not Use This Company

If I could give then zero stars I would. The device is bulky and outdated, the customer service is horrendous, and the will try to charge you for everything including the air you breath. They know they have you over a barrel and take advantage of it at every turn. Lucky I didn't sign a lease agreement with them however they are still demanding I pay an early termination fee since I switched companies. Take my advise run the other way do not use this company.
