As I'm currently writing this review, I'm sitting in a hotel lobby for over 9 hours trying to get a room that I paid for 3 weeks in advance. Customer service keeps hanging up on me. No one calls you back. I've spoken to 3 supervisors as of the moment and currently am writing this review while I have one on the phone. My body hurts from sitting in this lobby all day. I traveled from NY to Louisiana straight 23 hr drive and I'm exhausted, all I wanted to do was shower and go to sleep. You can't reach no one but if you do they hang up on you. Worse company ever. Do not use.

Paid additional fees to select seats and all of my travelling party were separated into seperate unselected seats ( 3 were children under 12)
Sat on hold for over 2 hours on an international call to receive no reimbursement or refund.
Out of pocket hundreds of dollars. Do not use hopper booking platform.

The VIP support is probably not humans, just a robot that chats with you in circles. The conversation goes like this:
"Give me a moment to look at your reservation"
*10 mins later*
"I'm transferring you to some-important-sounding-department to further assist your needs"
Me: "no, please help me. I'm stranded!"
*cycle repeats*

I purchased VIP support and missed-connection guarantee and I've tried talking to them for a week to help when I had a close connection for a flight. They refused to help. I was left stranded at the airport overnight.

Use Hopper to see prices and schedules, but NEVER book with Hopper.

I did a price freeze on a airline ticket for 183. After purchase they changed the freez from 183 to 327. I called 4 times to get the issue resolved and they refused to hung up on me or told me it was not refundable. I had to call my credit card company and report fraid on hopper over $37. I hope it was worth losing a customer and getting a bad review hopper. I will use you service to watch for price drops, but will be booking through the airline or expedia because they give out the same price.

I give them 0 stars, So I paid 2169$ for a flight and got nothing out of it that included trip insurance for 161.77$ missed connection guarantee (whatever this means) for 163$, VIP support for 42$ and a tip for 5$ so why did it happen to me i don't know had to reschedule my flight and they told me to pay the fare difference per the airline policy and they was asking near 800$ and I'm writing this as calm as a person can be because it's not my first time being scammed. So folks should u decide to go with this website because it's cheap I'll leave that up to you, have a good evening.

Pictures of hotel looked decent, pull up to the hotel and rooms had doors and windows boarded up. No management on property or to even check me in. Called no answer knocked no answer called the customer service at Hopper and they basically said I was on my own cause I didn't pay for the cancellation option.
I'm out $108.00 and then had to go find another place to stay and that was another $100.001st time ever getting CATFISHED on a hotel room by a $#*!in app! Never again HOPPER - I do not recommend -O stars

After I timely cancelled a reservation the system re-entered the same flight data and charged my credit card without authorization. There is no way to actually reach them to resolve problems. All of the phone numbers and addresses posted on their site lead to a dead end from which they never respond.

Impossible to contact to correct errors. Ambiguous web links.

Airline changed my flight I called them within an hour of it being changed to try and change my flight to something else but they said they couldn't do anything right then and to call back I called five more times within 24 hours then they said I can't change my flight because it has been over 24 hours. The only reason I don't have a new flight is because I trusted Hopper

Don't buy a hopper gift certificate. I received one over 6 months ago and have not been able to redeem it. I have spoken to so many people over 100 emails and phone calls and no one at hopper has been able to resolve the issue. They also will not issue a refund. So they have stolen $90.00 from me.
I will post the emails so people can see how ridiculous the excuses are. I can imagine a company which has received tens of millions from capital one, can higher a competent IT team.
I don't know who to talk to but I want my money back or fix it.

This App robbed me of $450 when they suddenly cancelled my flight to Miami with no explanation whatsoever. I had to book my flight through another website and the worst part is, I Never got a refund. I tried to contact customer service, but there is no way to contact them. What a POS they are for that.

Trip was cancelled by them because of covid 19 which i understood, did not get the cancellation trip till an hour before the flight. They sent out a text for the cancellation of the trip and did NOT refund me even though it was on their behalf. Have to put a dispute with the bank. And when I look for the purchase on my hopper app, they erased my purchase but yet still have not been refunded.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Hopper advertised an indoor pool at Country Inn and Suites. The pool was closed. I picked that hotel because it advertised an indoor pool. I stayed 30 minutes away from the area I was visiting to enjoy the pool with the kids. We were all soo very disappointed! No more hopper and no more Country Inn and Suites in Pennsylvania.

The Hopper app provides definitely the worst experience. I tried booking a flight through the app and though the booking was unsuccessful, my card was charged with the amount. There's no way on the app to connect to customer service other than the useless FAQs.

Booked flights. Never given an account #. Cannot speak to rep. Without an acct #. They hit my card with $180 and will have to fight to get it back. Get the hell outta this app. QUICK. When you cannot speak to a person you are in deep trouble. They got my card info, hit my account and I could not reach out to ask questions without an account # which was never provided. SCAM out of hell.

I will fight you on this you POS MFKRS. You took my credit card info, charged me for Price Freeze and when I call to get further information no one will talk to me because I have no account number which you never provided me with.

I am owed a refund from Hopper for a cancelled flight. The airline referred me to Hopper because I paid Hopper directly. I called Hopper multiple times, always getting a different story. Now they are telling me it is not their responsibility.
I will never book thru Hopper again. The low price is not worth the customer service run around.

Hopper has no customer service once a flight is booked. If you book a flight and need to modify your itinerary, Hopper customer service has no direct phone number ANYWHERE on its app. They took over a week to contact me about a change of flight request. That was after the flight had departed! It cost me my preferred departure time and the flight price went up over the 10 days the bot spent twiddling its thumbs (sic)!

DO NOT USE THIS BOOKING SERVICE-THEY ARE INCOMPETENT!

On Friday my reservation that I had I was supported to get a refund due to the room had roaches LOT'S I arrived at midnight and took a shower and there were roaches all over the bed and just got my stuff and went to the lobby to let the manager know that I was leaving bc there's too many roaches and he told me that the refund will be done to Hopper so they can refund me for the room $114.18. Worse app to use if you are looking for a company you can rely on. All they care about is money. You spend a lot of money on your ticket and if you miss your flight they are useless they don't even offer hopper credit. And it's a nightmare to get a hold of them. I just can't with them and when you finally do they give you false information. Don't waste you money and use another app for your travels. Thank me later!

I NEVER write reviews but my experience has been TERRIBLE on 3 separate occasions so i need to write one to hopefully steer others FAR away. Their customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE and no matter what, they will NEVER accommodate the customer. Kick and scream all you want but they will not do ANYTHING to accommodate you. They just want your money and once they have it you're screwed! BEWARE

I would give them negative Stars if I could. Not only are they not clear that the price freeze payment is non-refundable they also will not stick by their word of actually maintaining the price freeze if something goes wrong with their application due to technical errors. Nor are they willing to realize or admit that sometimes people or Machinery makes mistakes and somehow I got double price freezed and got charged twice and then wasn't even able to schedule or book my room due to their app issues and couldn't get refunded any of my money! Lastly even getting a hold of someone in their customer service was ridiculous and I had to wait three days for an email back. I would not recommend this app service to anyone!

Got a $10 discount on one room one time and the room was disgusting had to call the cleaning service two times to come clean the room of the hotel that I stayed in and Hopper was awful when I accidentally created two price freezes they wouldn't refund either one I didn't see that non-refundable thing in any of the beginning stuff only afterwards and then their app won't even work and let me reserve the rooms that I put the price freeze on and they said there was nothing that they could do about it so I got screwed out of $40 and never did get the book a room

I opted to use the price freeze because right on that page it says that if the price goes up you will only pay the price freeze amount. Within 10 minutes the total went up to $1500 instead of my price freeze amount of $732 total. They then told me by email of course that I could not cancel even though I tried to cancel within 30 minutes. This place is a scam. I looked at the hotel again and it's back down but as soon as you price freeze it goes up. Even though it says you will pay price freeze they will only cover $100 of the total price. Scam Scam Scam! Do not use hopper. WARNING! I have attached a screen shot of what the website tells you on the page to price freeze! SCAM

Hice hoy la compra de 5 boletos de CDMX a Cancún me hicieron cargo por 9970 pesos y hoy lunes a las 7:45 pm me llegó un email que dice que los vuelos fueron rechazados y que tengo que esperar de 7 a 10 días para que me reembolsen mi dinero. Pague con mi tarjeta de crédito y efectivamente el cargo se realizó , porfavor alguien que me diga si está aplicación es un fraude y si les pasó , si les reembolsaron su dinero?????

They do not honor their cancel anytime insurance. I have even trying to dispute the charge and they provided false documentation to my credit card to avoid refunding the money they own me. I have been robbed of over $600. Shop elsewhere for your fights.

This company has ZERO support. I booked through them for the first time the other day and they booked me on the saver fair when I paid for main cabin. Long story short, they offer no service to resolve ANY issues. Once I started reading though the reviews, I realized how terrible this company is. I just don't want others to have to go through this. There are so many other credible websites and apps to books flights. Please don't use Hopper.
