Hopper has great deals sometimes and the watch feature is amazing for future planning trips. Overall they are great but it seems to be super hard to get into contact with someone when you have questions or issues.
It's very frustrating when you can't call a service center for any support. Just have to text a robot and wait hours for a reply. This isn't ideal at all during an emergency or natural disaster like what I'm experiencing right now.
This was so easy to use over many of the other travel apps I have used in the past. Hopper found great rates for me and helped me process my travel plans very quickly. When will you be adding rental cars?
My husband introduced me to Hopper because he's had such great experiences with them and I'm glad he did. I just purchased a round trip ticket for $80 less than I was offered using one of the other discount sellers. All I can say is Thank You Hopper! You've made it possible for a starving student to fly home to see her family during school break!!
I had the exact same thing happen as one of the other comments... booked flights, they charged $1788, AA generated a ticket, and then hopper cancelled it for no reason, but has my money still. Can't call, email is a joke. Shady company.
Found a great deal, but the best part was being able to watch multiple flight prices in one convenient place with notifications when any of them changes price. That, combined with an easy user interface, makes this my go-to travel app!
I have flown International twice already with using this application Hopper, by far its been the best decision ever! Madrid, Spain RT $533.00 can't beat that & Tangier Morocco $628.00 RT Definitely worth the savings...
I was charged two random extra fees of 33 and 28 in addition to my flight and can't get anyone from hopper to explain or even replay. Don't use this site. It's not worth the hassle. Sky scanner is a much better option if you want to find good prices. Will never use hopper again.
Paid $40.00 for travel interruption...but fine print says pay out only for 24 hours. If your flight cancelled outside of that no coverage or refund. Useless emails back and forth saying nothing, they can't even put into words their not refunding me.brutal

Hopper steals from consumers! A $76 "price freeze" fee just magical appears on my account they are failing to respond or refund. NEVER use them. I am filing fraud with my credit card company!

I've made a mistake of booking International flight thru hopper and now that flights have resumed, it's been 3 months i am constantly following up with them, no response or action taken by them. They are just delaying saying airline team are not reachable.
Could be better at scanning more deals. In the past 8 months I only got 2 notifications when budget airlines had at least 4 promos to Japan from the Philippines between February to October. UI is great though :)
I just booked my first flight ever using Hopper (been watching flights with this app for over a year). Was so easy! And, not only did Hopper quote the best rate over other search engines and travel sites, it also ended up being $4.00 cheaper than the original quote. #Awesome
Over the recent months I've spend a ridiculous amount of time planning for our 40th anniversary, however having Hopper has definitely helped the process! On two separate occasions, we cancelled and needed reimbursement, Hopper responded to my emails immediately and resolved both issues. Their representatives are always prompt, respectful and kind. Their communications are thorough and complete.
I highly recommend Hopper.
I do need to add that we purchased 2 refundable airline tickets through Hopper which were cancelled. Unfortunately, Hopper does not reimburse that "Refundable" purchase of $145.00. :(
Got an email at 3:30 am regarding a flight I was considering stating the fare had dropped from $918.00 to $623.00. I jumped on that RT flight. Good thing, because 3 hours later it was up to $1278.00. Unbelievable the games the airlines play with prices!

Hopper is useful for predicting the best fares for airline tickets. Just hope that no major changes happen with your flight, because you will never get in touch with an actual human being. I have been waiting for an email response since Sunday. Multiple attempts to reach someone through their app haven't helped either. I had previously recommended this app to several friends based on my first experience, but I will never book through these guys again.
Customer Service is a nightmare. I actually had a CS agent cancel my car rental, then I had to pay $100+ more for a new one. They offered me "Carrot Cash" (which is funny money with all kinds of restrictions. You cannot use a portion of your "carrot cash" on one rental, then use the remaining portion on something else. You literally forfeit any money that you don't "need" for the transaction. I tried to change a flight and they wanted to charge me $2,600 based on some penalty scheme they have where you pay for a first-class ticket even though you sit in economy. Their recommendation alerts told me to wait and I ended up paying twice as much as I needed to. And they expect "tips" for this service! Stay away!

Hopper gives you option to freeze price on flight. I paid 15 dollars to hold prices for 3 flights . My card was charged but it says "error"every time i try to finish the booking. 48 hours is almost up and they are going to take my money because of statue of limitations. This app doesn't even allow you to contact support by phone .
Booked a hotel room on hopper, got charged and showed unknown error. Neither i received any email from them nor any update. I tried their help centre which is worse, nobody helped and its almost 5 days i didn't receive refund. Even no one reached out to me. Honestly, i never recommend this app to anyone.

Tried the hopper price freeze. They screwed me out of about $300.00... No phone CSR! Only chat! Takes forever to get a response and then they said we are sorry about the misunderstanding but we can't refund only give you a credit with hopper bucks. Do yourself a big favor stay away unless you love giving away money. Very confusing app! Uses pop-ups to generate confusion for customer... Keep using company your use too...( Priceline, hotels.com etc.) Really looking forward to seeing what computer generated response they give...

Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.
