I booked and paid in full a Hertz rental car. When I arrived to pick up, I was advised they would not give me my rental because I did not fly into the city. Hopper and Hertz are now pointing their grimy fingers at each other and yet I had to spend an extra $500 to get home. Neither have issued me a refund
I paid extra for VIP service, and got no assistance. I waited for over an hour, for an answer, and they did not answer. I am working on getting a refund on the "vip support", since it was worthless. Very frustrating. Ruined my entire trip because I was basically stuck at my hotel. The uber was way to expensive to go anywhere. I will not use this app any more. They left a horrible taste
I liked utilizing Hopper to watch airline prices before I purchased. My first experience booking the flight through Hopper was fine, they have a feature called "Prize Freeze" that allowed me to reserve my pricing as I was unsure to buy. I ended up pulling the trigger. As things escalated in our world, I thought it best to cancel my flight. It was through Alaska so I had called them, they were happy to credit me in lieu of everything, but had to go through Hopper first as they are who I booked through. Hopper, even a MONTH later is unresponsive to me. Because Alaska cancelled my flight, I am also unable to chat through my "previously booked trip" because technically no trip happened. When I click from my email, it's as if no transaction ever happened. This is the ONLY way to "chat" them according to their FAQ's. No phone number. No chat option for cancelled flights. Absurd. Not even an automated response apologizing for the delay. Absolute trash.
Deceitful business practices! I purchased flight tickets. Prior to finalizing my purchase, the price breakdown was $1357.38 (with a note on the bottom that this will be charged in CAD -Canadian dollars). After purchasing, I received an email receipt for over $1800 (with a note on the bottom that this will be charged in CAD). I went back into the app and found a price breakdown that was identical to the initial one with one key detail changed - the note now said that it will be charged in USD -American dollars. Screenshots are attached.
Moreover, their customer service is abysmal. Cannot contact a person unless you pay $42 USD for VIP customer service).

Hopper double charged me for a 71.00 price freeze. Customer service has no phone number to speak to a live person and the price freeze says it's non refundable. I won't be using this app a second time because of this dishonest practice.

They have a very confusing booking app with things popping up everywhere to confuse you while trying to make a simple booking. If you price freeze then don't make the booking properly by following their ridiculous instructions then they keep your money & refuse to refund it or apply it to your booking for you. Avoid this company! Customer support pretends to care that you are out of pocket when they scam you but refuse to do anything to rectify your issue.

Provided false information on cancellation policy within 24 hours. Customer service useless and wasted time. After three hours of phone calls, Hopper still refused to help with me request for cancellation. Afterward, hopper then changed the flight to display non refundable. Basically pulling a bait and switch. False advertisement plus bait and switch, on top of a bunch of cheap insurance and premium support sales.
I been trying to access the flight for hours. First they say that it was only $295 for a flight then later $346 then about $400. Then when I erased everything it said $295. I put my card through then a little bunny showed up and something went wrong. I figured it didn't go through. So I put in another card. It took the card then another little bunny jumped up and said just wait or try again. I tried again and then it said no more seats available. Hopper stole almost $700 on both cards and never wrote me in my email. I called their customer service phone number and the phone is disconnected. I think there should be a class action law suit against this company. What their doing is illegal. Im definitely writing the better business burial.

Don't buy a hopper gift certificate. I received one over 6 months ago and have not been able to redeem it. I have spoken to so many people over 100 emails and phone calls and no one at hopper has been able to resolve the issue. They also will not issue a refund. So they have stolen $90.00 from me.
I will post the emails so people can see how ridiculous the excuses are. I can imagine a company which has received tens of millions from capital one, can higher a competent IT team.
I don't know who to talk to but I want my money back or fix it.

The VIP support is probably not humans, just a robot that chats with you in circles. The conversation goes like this:
"Give me a moment to look at your reservation"
*10 mins later*
"I'm transferring you to some-important-sounding-department to further assist your needs"
Me: "no, please help me. I'm stranded!"
*cycle repeats*
I purchased VIP support and missed-connection guarantee and I've tried talking to them for a week to help when I had a close connection for a flight. They refused to help. I was left stranded at the airport overnight.
Use Hopper to see prices and schedules, but NEVER book with Hopper.

I have been chasing my refund for the last 11 days, though the policy is 7-10 days.
Chat line has been unavailable for the period. The phone number references the down chat line, and emails bounce back.
A week into the dilemma, received an apology letter for not processing my refund... still waiting but no more communication from the company!
Be cautious with this unresponsive company!
I give them 0 stars, So I paid 2169$ for a flight and got nothing out of it that included trip insurance for 161.77$ missed connection guarantee (whatever this means) for 163$, VIP support for 42$ and a tip for 5$ so why did it happen to me i don't know had to reschedule my flight and they told me to pay the fare difference per the airline policy and they was asking near 800$ and I'm writing this as calm as a person can be because it's not my first time being scammed. So folks should u decide to go with this website because it's cheap I'll leave that up to you, have a good evening.

I booked a flight through hopper. The airline completely changed the flight making the schedule impossible for me. I spoke with the airline and they were willing to give me a refund, but because I booked through Hopper they needed it to be done through Hopper. There's no way to contact Hopper customer service by phone, only through text. At first they replied, saying they were looking into it and we'd hear back from them, but we never did.I submitted another request to Hopper to no reply. Worst $#*!ing service imaginable. These guys are a $#*!ing scam. DO NOT book your flight through Hopper

They do not honor their cancel anytime insurance. I have even trying to dispute the charge and they provided false documentation to my credit card to avoid refunding the money they own me. I have been robbed of over $600. Shop elsewhere for your fights.

Hopper books flights that they cannot or will not support their customers… they take the $$ for the reservation and will not do anything else to assist. I also discovered they overcharged $250 per ticket than it is normally, but will not cancel or refund. That is up to the airline. Worst service ever and it's a call center in India.

I booked a room on Jan 4th, 2023. Paid 119.65 for a room and when I got to the hotel they said my reservation number was a fake and didn't exist. I ended up paying an additional 163 out of pocket to book the same room directly through the hotel. When I tried to contact hopper for a refund. I got no response. There's no freaking way to contact hopper. Everytime I try it says chat is down or there's no number. I've sent message after message and emails non stop but to no avail. I'm a single mom of three and we live in a shelter so we need every penny. The only reason I booked the room through hopper is because I believed it was a legit savings. I ended paying double than what I should have. I'm pissed and I still want my refund of 119.65. Don't EVER USE HOPPER!

You may think you are freezing prices for a particular day but you are in fact freezing prices for a particular flight. So prices on that day may decrease drastically while your flight stays the same. Hopper could easily offer you the better deal but won't.
This is very poorly reflected at time time of using the freeze price option.
I was chatting with support as the freeze expired, which I had noted to them. They didn't resolve my issue but now I have an eaten deposit and no flight to show for it.

Hopper has no way of directly contacting customer service for help. I've been working on getting a response regarding 4 cancelled flights for almost a year with no responses. Completely unacceptable. Avoid using this app, it's not worth it in any way shape or form. I'm resorting to disputing the charges.

I bought ticket for Iceland on March but it's have not give me back refund after requesting it. It has been 90 days and still no response. There isn't a reliable way to contact customer support either.
This app is good for monitoring prices but that's it. Their customer service is horrible. I have been waiting for almost a week for some sort of solution to my issue. I rent a vehicle through the app that I was never able to get because the provider did not have any vehicles when I arrived and they did not accept my chime credit card as a valid form of payment. Kicker was I had already paid. I immediately request a refund of my money since I can't get a vehicle and I have yet to hear from anyone. I would not recommend using this app at all.

Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.
