My experience at H & M on the weekend of October 21,2023 was terrible. I've been shopping at H&M for years. I tell you what happened to me. In the men's department the cashier charges more money than when you pay cash. And the machine to see the amount to pay is useless, and you cannot see how much you are going to pay, it tells you the amount. She tells me it's 201.70. When the receipt said 158.70, I gave her the amount of $210 because she told me it was... $201.70 I returned my change of 7 dollars and coins I turned around and checked the receipt because it made me a lot of money, the receipt said 158.70. I come back and I tell her there was a mistake, she doesn't accept her mistake and I call the manager. As they checked the box to see if I had any extra money, he told me I'm going to check the cameras and I'll tell him please! They still don't see anything on the cameras as it is possible that they have cameras and can't see what the cashiers are doing. And the managers don't fix the situation. They just told me we're sorry we can't do anything,,, she doesn't steal from customers she steals from customers.the store is located in Michigan and chestnut. Chicago iL

Real review: 2.5. At checkout, the pair of white sweatpants we were going to buy had a pee stain and a worker noticed. The most discount she was able to give us is 10 percent off, and that was the only one in my size. We obviously didn't buy them, but they didn't give us a gift card or anything. However, they did have a great selection of clothing.
I am a traveler in Turkey and I made a purchase from a H&M at Ankamall. When I asked for a tax-free invoice, the supervisor was told that the law of this brand is that it does not give you a tax-free invoice, while all brands gave me this invoice for the tax that I paid. I shouldn't pay for the title of a passenger in this country. It was very sad for me, and even though I was a fan of this brand, it made me change my opinion from now on.

I accidentally placed an order and sent an email requesting a refund only 20 minutes later. They finally got back to me 2 days later telling me they wouldn't be refunding me and that the nature of my request was because of a "wrong address", which was not true I didn't mention a wrong address once. Just shows how much they pay attention to their emails...will never purchase from them again
I recently bought my kids their back to school clothes at H&M, as I always do. The store was very busy and I can totally understand why the check out lady was overwhelmed. When I got home (an hour and a halfs drive from the nearest H&M) i realized the tags were still on a few of the multi packs i bought. So, naturally I emailed. At first i got a great response and was told they completely understand why cant just drive to return as i live too far away. They put me in touch with the back office to organize the refund. Then started the very long thread of emails. I had to keep sending photos of the tags then the receipt, then the price, tags, then they needed the wash label from inside the clothes and then they asked me to send more photos of the tags and so on. It is still not resolved and it looks like after 3 weeks it might never be. I am so disappointed.
I really like the corduroy jackets and flannel shirts from the new collections. Those items are timeless classics just like jeans.
Seems like they will always be in fashion.
It's also great that I don't have to spend a lot of my money on such quality clothing.

Very upset with them I ordered my son school clothes, it shows that my package arrive Tuesday at 10:30 PM never did! I contacted the company they used as the carrier and they said they delivered it to a mailbox parcel when I don't have that and I checked my cameras to see if the shipping company they used when ip to my neighbors and it did not! It is the worse trying to talk to someone from gls the only way to actually have someone talk to you is through chat they won't answer the phone they said that the person that delivered it will call me but can't give me a time frame when they will call me! I have ordered from them so many times and this has never happened they lost me as a customer I will never buy ever again!
I prefer alternative stores to H&M. Thankfully nowadays there are much better stores for customers to choose from. This is my personal opinion.
I had recently bought a large quantity of clothes from h and n but unfortunately I had a problem with my order. In the delivery docket it had stated that I received one of the t-shirts from the order but in fact I hadn't. I immediately called up customer service because I had no proof that this shirt had in fact not arrived. ( Everything including the docket said it did) A very kind woman apologised and explained that I would receive a refund shortly. Within 48hours I had my money returned. I had ordered lots of other clothes and they were all perfect.

What is ordered on the website is not what they send you. Clothes they send you are extremely cheaply made. Customer Service is totally awful. Will NEVER order anything from the website or purchase anything in their store.
My daughter was trying some pants in the dressing room. 2 Man went in after her to try clothes as well I don't like the fact that no doors just curtains this is a safety issue, no employees in the dressing room watching who goes in. Why do you have a dressing room for man and woman together and no security door to protect them.
