Hayneedle informed me that the fee for expedited delivery was per order and not per item. Wrong. They charged me per item of furniture. Hayneedle informed me that I would receive my expedited shipment by a certain date. Wrong. The items were not even shipped out by that date. I then cancelled the order but the manufacturer sent it out anyway. Hayneedle is a website for a variety of manufacturers. They have no idea when the orders will ship and have no authority over the order once it is sent to the manufacturer. Wait times for customer service are between 35 and 45 minutes. I will never shop with them again.
Absolute garbage. Bought a desk, comes to me busted to hell with bad packaging. One corner is bashed in an inch, nicks all over the sides. I live in NYC and it is a PAIN to bring a big package home from work to a walkup, so to find out what I bought is broken it is very unfortunate. Will never buy from here again.
I ordered my grandsons Christmas the first of October. It never came so I began making numerous calls about it. They kept assuring me it would be here by Christmas. I called again today 1 week before Christmas and was told they have no idea if or when I will get my order! I cancelled it immediately and will NEVER order from here again!
I ordered an item from Hayneedle through Walmart.com. Upon receiving this item I discovered that i was shipped the incorrect item. I requested a refund, then began searching around. I discovered that they had the incorrect item listed as the item I ordered on walmart.com. Upon bringing this up to them they informed me that they do not have an exchange policy and I would have to re-place my order (which is hooked up to the wrong item). Their customer service was very responsive, however they could not assist in delivering the item I actually ordered.
I do not suggest purchasing from Hayneedle, especially through their shop on walmart.com. Overall, i've had a very negative experience.
After leaving a low review I was contacted by a hayneedle representative who seemed genuinely concerned. They offered to re order the item for me with a discount for the prior inconvenience. Since I already re ordered the item elsewhere I asked for a coupon code which they were kind to offer for the next purchase. The rep was very kind. I appreciate that a lot.
I order a basketball hoop that was listed as in stock. Then I waited three weeks and when it came to the promised delivery date the item never came. I looked up tracking number. Item was shipped back to seller with the note being "item undeliverable." I got a refund. Bad communication. Slow shipping. I was waiting in vain for this hoop. I never knew item was returned to sender. I was planning on installing this hoop on the new roof so the roofers could help me install but thanks to the long wait time and cancellation I doubt it'll make it on time anymore and I'll have to pay separately for someone to install on the roof. I also ordered a mounting bracket. After two weeks nothing came so I sent an email. They emailed back right away saying item was cancelled due to a computer error. Just bad service do yourself a favor and order from Amazon. It may be slightly more expensive but they actually HAVE the item in stock and are better in every way.
Just got off the phone with Hayneedle. I have never had an issue with credit card fraud until I placed an order with this online company. Now my credit information has been hacked and I have a fraudulent charge on my card. Hayneedle of course denies all responsibility. I will never order from this company again. When asking them about the "Heartbleed" security breech they knew nothing about it.
I had purchased an indoor fountain. The pump broke after 6 months, and one month after warranty expired. I was very disappointed. I had to go out and buy a new pump at a store and Hayneedle reimbursed me for the pump I had to purchase. I am an absolute believer in the honor and integrity of this company. Very grateful and now a loyal customer!
I went to check on the status of my order and it says cancelled... no email to me notifying me of this, no reasons, no nothing?! This on top of the fact that they didn't accept the coupon they sent me due to "exclusions" when there are no exclusions listed on the coupon! Finally, the email us option on their website works about 10% of the time. So you go through the trouble of typing out the issue for it to say "sorry... to working"
I found the item I was looking for at Hayneedle at a significantly lower price than anywhere else I found. I had never heard of Hayneedle so in researching the company I was brought to this site. I was a bit concerned with all the negative reviews and also noticed that Hayneedle seemed to only respond to positive reviews and not acknowledge the negative ones. Despite this I decided to order said item by telephone. The gentleman was courteous and helpful. The item arrived on time and in good condition. The financial transaction was seamless. The only advice I would give this company is to respond to some of the negative reviews such as the ones here and not just the positive ones. That almost kept me from buying from them. I purchased $130.00 worth of curtain valances from PlumStruck vial Walmart. They came in several colors, including burgundy and chocolate. I ordered the chocolate, and they sent burgundy. I emailed them - there is no phone number available - and told them that I wanted to exchange the valances. They refused to do the exchange, and said that I had to send the valances back and then go through the order process again. They did provide and paid shipping label through FedEx. I sent them back promptly, and they arrived about two weeks ago. So far, no refund. I have emailed them twice, and they refuse to email me back. Horrible company. Do not do business with them.
Table #1 was only slightly damaged around the top edge. Hayneedle refunded 15% of cost of the table and I thought that was fair. Gave the table to one of my daughters. Second daughter wanted one, so I ordered Table #2. It had several long scratches on the top and a 2 inch paintbrush bristle embedded in the paint on the side of the table. Hayneedle offered to send a mailing label, but we would have to schlep the defected table to a FedEx store. They finally agreed to do a pick-up on the table. When Table #3 arrived, it looked like it had a gouge in one of the legs that had been sloppily repaired leaving an unsightly mound, along with a bad paint job. Hayneedle gave me the choice of returning the table to a FedEx location (they did not offer to do a pick up), and reordering a fourth table, or 25% off the defective table. We decided on the latter option and to consider the whole unpleasant experience a lesson learned. I will never order another thing from Hayneedle.

Espoma organic potting mix for 21.99. Then i found Hayneedle, who offered the same for 9.99. I purchased 5 bags, they arrived within 4 days. Perfect and Hayneedle save me 60$!

I ordered a pair of slippers for Christmas as a gift. They ran a size small and Plumstruck took soooo long (1+ week) to approve the return that I ended up giving them to my mom (who they fit). I ordered a second pair for the intended recipient and the order took 1 month to arrive. The company failed to notify me until I took the initiative to call them 3 weeks after purchase. Totally unacceptable. I was told that the order was on back-order.
I can't understand why they are selling products they don't even have in stock and taking my money and waiting for me to call them before notifying me! PLEASE, do yourself a huge favor and read up on this company before purchasing their products. Learn from others mistakes and shop elsewhere.
I ordered a grooming table through Amazon and it came from this company. It was ordered on December 12 as a Christmas present. I heard from Amazon telling me that they had not heard that it had been shipped, so they were concerned I would not get it by Christmas. I never heard from the company, however. On January 3 I contacted the company who told me it was going to be shipped on January 16 and that they understood how very disappointing it could be when a gift didn't arrive on time. Ugh. So I told him to cancel the order. I was told that they would try, and the next day I received an email saying it had shipped and that it would arrive on December 21. Since it was shipped after that date I can only think that they mean of 2017. Don't order from them if you ever want to receive your merchandise
I purchased close to 3000 worth of furniture in January - because I had ton pay someone to put it together it took several months to complete. The first piecestep came out fine - the next to last one - a Finley home corner bookcase, couldn't be put together without a gap on one side. Called cs, they basically said tough s... it's been over 90 days! Was that how long that 300$ piece of furniture was supposed to last?
This has been the worst experience ever! I ordered a dresser and night stand back August 23 and it took almost 2 weeks to arrive. On the outside the items looked good but when we tried to open draws the frame was all cracked and the drawers were stuck. The items are cheaply made. I then called and spoke with Jenny in customer service and that turned out to be very aggravating,. She said that she would set return and replacement order and proceeded to put me on hold. Never telling me that she was charging me for another set. The pick did not happen until September the 11., when I myself had to set up with the freight company. Needless to say it is September 19th and I am yet to receive my refund. I called today and was told that furniture is in process and "perhaps" return may be processed after the 26th, and funds will be refunded 5 to 7 days thereafter. This company is the worst I have EVER dealt with.
Ordered bar stools from Hayneedle. Great price, but was told for a nominal fee, the bar stools would get to me by Feb 19. On Feb 18 I still didn't have a tracking number. Called Hayneedle and customer rep told me he couldn't get in touch with manufacturer. Said they were closed and he would get back to me next day. No call, so I call again. Second customer "advocate" (are you sh*#ting me?) puts me on hold for ten to fifteen minutes and comes back to say the order is being shipped today. So much for having chairs for party this weekend. Service rep said I would receive tracking number later today. We shall see. Shipping on day you are suppoed to be receiving? Bad business. Emptor Caveat!

I wish I had looked up this company before ordering from them through Walmart. I feel Walmart should hold accountability front he crap these people are getting away with. I purchased a $164 dollar item & after no responses from them helping us out as to WHERE my item is, although it shows it "shipped" it's still never left the facility! Aftter looking them up & seeing all these horrible reviews, I am going to assume I am out of the $$$ & that is that. Ughhh!
I ordered a couch through thefoundary.com and they sent me an incorrect tracking number. It took several phone calls for them to figure out where it was coming from. I should have had my couch a few days ago at the latest. I was told by Pilot Freight that my couch would be there between 12-1p today. Did not happen. Then I called again and they said it would be within the hour, this was at 2:35. Still no couch. I will never buy anything from this company again.
