Just like almost everyone else is saying here, my food never showed up. Neither did the driver. Never had this problem before til now, but I've noticed their service was getting worse and worse over the last few months. They wouldn't give me my money back, and their best offer was 50% off next meal. A meal I may not see too. Heck no! I paid $12 more than it would have cost for me to go and pick it up. I wasn't giving up. So I ended up speaking with someone higher up, they agreed to pay me back as a one time convince... (really?!). Thanks for my money, but you're still losing a costumer. They don't know how to treat their costumers, and they don't know how to keep them.
Don't let them walk all over you. Don't get your food, have proof, get your money back!
Ordered food that never showed up, driver who doesn't speak english can't find my appt building, restaurant manager knows nothing because it's a 3rd party, I have to wait 5 days for my refund!
Such unprofessional service all around. I will never order from this app again and I'll be sure to tell others not to as well..
The app says it delivers to my address and then when I completed the order it said I had to pick it up. I called customer service and the guy Enrique sounded high and said he couldn't help because he didnt understand. Reminds me of the movie idiocracy. Anyways that app is gone from my phone and I'll go with other services.
No Food nor Money Back!
If I could give no stars I certainly would. I ordered through you Yelp, which GrubHub deliveries for, and never received my food.
I checked the app to see if my order was on its way, and it shows he was near. I checked again and noticed the driver had passed up my house, but was still in the plan, so I stood in my driveway and never came passed. Then noticed the driver marked as order delivered. I immediately called GrubHub, and they told me that there was nothing they could do since driver left. He literally is still showing in my plan. No, sorry we cannot call the driver, so you mean to tell me I'm just out my food? The GrubHub Rep stated, the driver tried to call you twice, nope had my phone in my hand the entire time and it did not ring once nor did the driver know or ring the bell. I have 2 dogs that would have definitely barked! Then the Rep proceeds to ask if I tried to contact the driver, and how would you like me to do that when a number for the driver was not provided. What do they do with the food? Do they get a free meal? They apologized and gave me a 50% discount for next time. I check my bank statement a week later and noticed they didn't credit my account for the food $41.40. I called, the GrubHub Rep actually tells me that they gave me a 50% discount off my next order. Why should I have to pay for an order that I did not receive. I think the 50% off should be for the inconvenience. The GrubHub Rep proceeds to tell me that if she gives me my money back then they will revoke the 50% code. I asked for a supervisor and she told me to have a good day and hung up on me. I will NEVER use GrubHub again... what a scam!
This is my very first time ordering from grubhub, after I looked at the no minimum, I thought I was getting a good deal. After I saw after placing my order, they charged me all these fees? Small order fee, service fee? Should 1 fee be enough? This is robbery! This is my first & last time ordering from this company.
Decided to try the service for the 1st time, partly due to a 12$ off promo that was promised to appear at checkout- which never did. I tried to cancel the order which was not made possible on the site - or with the online chat. So I had to waste my time calling the 800# to get the money back. The refunded me minus 1 cent. Not something anyone would ever waste their time trying to recoup but pretty sneaky. If 100k people do this, they've made money on a seemingly benign mistake. Last complaint, they automated a driver trip at 17.00$ - WHAT? I've never heard of a driver being tipped 25% on a take out order. Come on - but again enough people probably pay it unwittingly and who knows what % is actually going to the driver. So needless to say, I am not a fan and will not be using this service again. I DESPISE sneaky business operations.
I HAD AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE WITH GRUBHUB. I will never use Grubhub again. I ordered my food and they took their money out of my account. The order said it was delivered and I never received anything, so I called the restaurant and they said they gave it to the driver. I said okay, I'll contact grubhub to say I never got it. I understand things happen. Grubhub said there is nothing they could do because they called me once, and I did not answer because I was not familiar with the number. They left no voicemail and then I guess that was their way of attempting delivery, even though no one rang my doorbell, came to my driveway or tried to call again or text or even leave a voicemail. I totally understand if things happen, but grubhub didn't even attempt to refund me and told me the only thing they could do was give me 50% off my next grubhub purchase, no refund and the only thing they said was they were "deeply sorry". Again, I am totally sympathetic to mistakes and all that but I got no food, 40 dollars taken out of my account and 50% off my next purchase that i won't even use. Therefore i will never use this service again. Thank you Grubhub for the horrible experience.
This $#*!ing company doesn't do jack $#*! when their paying customers wait hours for their food only to finally find out much later that the $#*!ing loser low life drivers are stealing the food from us PAYING customers! Every time I order from Grubhub, my food is at least 30 mins late and ice cold when I get it. When I'm paying almost $60.00 for food, that is ridiculous. I've had it with food delivery. They are terrible
Order food from them at 2:30p stated food would arrive by 3:20p. Then when checked tracker food was delayed again pushing it back almost 2 hours. Called restaurant they said my food been ready and was just sitting out. Called Grubhub and a driver was still not assigned and my food would have been sitting out for over 2 hours. In order to get a refund it's takes 3-5 business days to get your money back. Poor customer service and order through them at your own risk!
Even though my money was returned, I inputted the address I was at and they wouldn't deliver my food instead the driver kept it her name is Jeanene, her number is *******568. I'm not from here, yet they couldn't deliver to Comfort Inn, literally you can see this place from the highway, Grub hub should be shut down they don't care about anyone! So I took a pic so they see that the address is actually Comfort inn

Grubhub is the worst place to order from i ordered taco bell and the order was suppose to come between 10:50 and 11:00 pm and never came i called the company and they sent me a email saying the new time was 11:43 pm it didn't come then so i called them back and as i was talking to someone another person was calling my phone so i clicked over only to find out that they canceled my order what a joke i will never order thru them again.
My order was delayed twice, showed delivered and wasnt, then over an hour half later it informed me my order was canceled. Will never use this service again.
I order over an hour and a half ago. I reviewed two messed saying my food had a delay and will be ordered at 1010pm-1020pm then 1021 I contact the driver the driver said Grubhub just sent them the order but the place I order from closed at 945. I received another messenge from Grubhub saying I will receive my order by 1040-1050. If the store been closed why continue to lie. I have a child to feed I could've been ordered from somewhere else. Then the customer service representative hung up on me not even giving a $#*!. I won't be using this website to order at all anymore. It's going to take 5-10 business days to receive my money back Are you serious! Why even charge me if my food was never delivered.
Never using this service again their drivers are thieves. Not once have i ever had a problem with doordash. My husband worked for a burger joint and they had same issues and they had to staple their bags shut because it was so bad. Popeyes where i ordered from said it isnt the first time so i told them to also staple theirs shut. So beware if you use them! Cant stand a thief! Oh and cant make a complaint app wont allow it SMH!
I've used grub hun a few times and the delivery time is horrible. On a few occasions the delivery time was pushed back more than once and the last time it took 2 hours after I ordered for the meal to be delivered.
I ordered my food. It was marked delivered and I never got it! They lied and said they called, texted and emailed me. No one ever tried reaching me. When I called about it they said they wouldn't refund my money but would give me half off my next purchase... They could literally give me 10 free meals and I wouldn't order from them again! After waiting for my food for 2 hours and not getting it, Door Dash had the same order to me in 30 minutes! This place is a joke!
I order around 2hours back, still I haven't received my order. I called customer care multiple times and said they always lied that driver is at restaurant. When i called driver, he said he hasn't received my order at all. Driver and customer care both of them have lied to me. Waste service. You will die of hunger i you order food from thier app
Two screwed up orders in 24 hours. Wasn't really their fault but they wanted me to pay delivery fee, tip and additional charges to get my missing sandwich delivered. Didn't every get food the second order. After 90 minutes of waiting, the order was cancelled, but they didn't even give us a full refund! I still end up paying them $5? For nothing?!? Don't care how many promo codes they offer me. I'm done with them.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
