I have always gave grub hub the benefit of the doubt because my apartment is kind of hard to find. But today was the last straw, after waiting over a hour for mine and my sons food, he is asleep now. I was told that the restaurant wasn't even open. According to google it is. Now i have to wait for who knows how long to try to cancel my order. This is bound the point of what i can except. I will now be banning my husband from ordering from them also.

They are never on time and they always canceling orders.! They think giving you 20% credit solves everything and it doesn't at all.! This is absolutely horrible I hate them and I'll never use them again.!
I've had multiple issues with Grubhub not getting me the right food, not credit me the right meals or refunding my money, and rude customer service reps when you call to complain. The last was a order from KFC where they missed getting me my coleslaw and then I called them back and I had to order coleslaw again because they couldn't deliver it so I ordered twice as much and then after two hours they canceled the order on me. Ridiculous organization and horrible customer service
Well, I waited an hour and nothing happened. Could've driven there and got food three times over.
Called customer service to get my money back - that number by the way is not available anywhere except on google via their stocks.
Lady didn't seem at all surprised. Refunded my money. We will see if I get it back.
Driver marked order as DELIVERED, but I had NOT received anything.
Driver supposedly showed up to my business address and tried to contact me via phone, and waited "10 minutes". We have a glass storefront and cameras. Nobody saw anything. Cameras caught only our customers walking in and out & parked in the parking lot.
Driver claims he tried to call me. I double-checked with a grubhub CSR, and looks like my phone number's been changed. No wonder they couldn't reach me, they had the wrong number on file (this, after I've ordered with them at least 5 times before... with no previous issues).
This most recent driver was never in the area. Given 1 star because I have video proof that the driver made no attempt to follow GPS instructions or try to walk around in the area to find the address. I've had previous drivers that magically walked right through my door to find me, no problems.
This shows that a driver can be "close enough" to your area, but if he/she calls and gets lucky that you don't answer, they can just leave and you're SOL. Best they can do is offer a 50% off coupon for a future use, no refunds to my current order.
So I basically donated nearly $60 worth of KFC lunch for the office to the driver. Who can do whatever he/she wants with it.
This was my first "large" order with Grub Hub and their policy on this situation has made me never want to try them again. In fact, I would encourage people looking for a fre meal to sign up with Grub Hub as a driver.
Never ordering from Grubhub EVER again.
My order took 2 hours, I messaged the driver, she said they have a lot of orders and she's running behind, but she's 10 minutes away.
I wait with my son by the window because he wants to see the car come. The driver drives past our house, we go down to grab our food. Driver keeps driving.
10 minutes later we get a call our order has been canceled, and we'd get a $10 discount on our next order.
2 hours of waiting and they cancel our order.
Grubhub is terrible. Will never use them again.
I used to order from this company all the time. However, anymore, I would not recommend. The last 3 times have been awful. I ordered from them and didn't get two of my items, they issued a refund supposedly that I never got. The time before last, I ordered. The driver I got was on the other side of town, she went and delivered another order. It had been an our and 20 minutes at this point so i messaged to get an estimate on the order and was told that they had to cancel because now it was to late for them to pick up the order. Still waiting on that refund. They gave me a half off coupon on top of it. I ordered again tonight, using their coupon. I watched the driver pull into a diff fast food place, then sit in the parking lot for 10 minutes. He then drove over to the place I ordered, sat there for 15 minutes, and then listed my order as delivered. I contact customer support and just get an apology and then am told they will have to cancel my order. Why? Again a wait over an hour for an order I never got. Its ridiculous. Door dash has far superior customer service and I haven't had a problem with them not delivering!

Really don't know where to start with Grubhub but I know I will never ever order with them or from them ever again had the most horrible experience I am 900 miles away from home in Miami Florida ordered food $50 on my card No food was delivered my money was not placed back on my card and I'm just wondering how many other people have went through this with Grubhub I don't feel like this company should not be in business sad to say instead of trying to make the situation correct they wanted to offer me $10 promo coupons instead of just saying hey here's a 40 or $50 credit and reorder food but No instead I was given over to a manager by the name of Cesar F that made the experience even more terrible I will never ever ever again order from GrubHub
I used them for a while... I never got hot or warm food. The orders were always late. The service from the drivers was pathetic. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. They never refund your money either. I told them 3 times my food was cold they did not care. I waited for tacos for 3 hrs. I will never order from them ever again.
Grubhub delayed my order 4x's I called the restaurant and they told my food was waiting and boxed... Called Grubhub they said his system said everything was fine HUH? I cancelled my order they said it will take 5 days to refund my $40... NEVER AGAIN
I ordered food. After waiting 2 hrs they email me and said that my order was canceled but my card was still charged. Also their telling me that I won't get my money back for 5 days. Very disappointed
They take separate delivery and service fees. 1 out of every 3 or 4 orders something will go wrong; either ridiculous amount of delay in delivery or sometimes the orders even get arbitrarily cancelled because they failed to coordinate between the restaurant and driver properly. There's zero amount of quality control to the drivers and on numerous occasions my food was stolen or mishandled in the process. When complaints are raised, instead of taking responsibility, they constantly try to deflect the blame. All this while there is no way to actually track the order and communicate directly with the drivers. Worst of all, because once one restaurant starts using Grubhub for their delivery soon every other establishments nearby has to follow, everybody in the area begins to suffer from garbage services. Disgraceful and should be ashamed.
I never received my order because the driver stole it. Be aware of this number *******004 when ordering your food because this driver is a theft. Called the customer service right away and he said there were two people on the car and one of them stole it. No refund but a 15% off coupon. This customer service guy was so unprofessional and never apologized. I called another customer service representative and finally I got a refund. I will never use this delivery service again. So unprofessional.

It always takes hours for them to get my order to me. They always switch my driver mid way & I have no idea why. They suck & should have no customers
I have had many bad experiences with them. Deliveries that were delivered to the wrong place and I never received; deliveries over an hour late with food being cold. I stopped using their service. After several months, I decided to try again. I ordered at 12:40 p.m. with delivery at 1:25 p.m. Time came and went and no food. I contacted them and then they changed the time to 2:05 p.m. At 2:15, I contacted them and was told "sorry for your trouble." While talking to them, I got a message that my order was changed to 2:45 delivery now. Then, I got a text that said my order was cancelled. I told them that was unacceptable and they ended chat with me abruptly. I waited 2 hours to find out I was not getting any food. Never again.
Placed an order at 11:11 with a guaranteed deliver before midnight. Order kept getting delayed for whatever reason. Got a confirmation that my order was on it's way at 1205, received text from driver at 1210 that he was on his way. At 1245 order still not here, called an cancelled the order because it never arrived. At 1258 driver messaged and said he was 5 minutes away. Seriously, after 2 $#*!ing hours keep the damn cold $#*! food. I will never order from grubhub again. Horrible customer service, what the hell takes 2 fricken hours I could've went out to eat and been back in bed in half the time it took for them just to try amd fail at getting me my food. They suck, do not order from them.
Yep. Straight robbery and I was actually standing outside waiting for the driver. Marked as delivered while I was standing there with all the ridiculous fees and I never got it.$50 order.
I've used Grubhub for about 10 restaurants in Houston that were within 2-3 miles of my house. Food was cold every time. Ordered items were missing. Typical charge for delivery was about 10 dollars including tip. I tried contacting Grubhub but couldn't talk to anyone- they were to busy handling other problems. I've moved on to picking up orders; I get what I ordered and it's far less frustrating.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
