In the last month I've tried using this service three times. Once, my food never arrived. The second time my driver got lost and I could never get a hold of them after specifying directions on the phone twice. The third, their 'grubhub' card didn't work at the restaurant even though the restaurant specifically asked me to use the service. Each time I've had to contact Grubhub customer service to be refunded in which it took 10-14 days each time to have it come through. NEVER use this service. If I could rate less than 0 I would.

Driver delivered food to wrong address, and driver delivered my order with no face mask or latex gloves on in Covid-19 pandemic. We threw out food, and I IMMEDIATELY contacted GrubHub on app to request refund. GRUBHUB's phone persons are very unprofessional and cons. GrubHub makes you think they will refund by generating a complaint number but NEVER refunds. They string you along. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I work three jobs and order grubhub quite a bit. (Almost daily) I have had my food delivered to the incorrect address numerous times. They constantly deliver to the address across the street from me, regardless of the notes I leave.
The drivers (not all) have forgotten my drinks numerous times as well, and they always blame it on the restaurant. They say oh the restaurant didn't give me a drink.
I deliver too, and it is the delivery drivers responsibility to make sure the order is correct and everything that was paid for is included. That is what you get paid for!
I tip 30% or more. I don't tip highly to have my food delivered to the incorrect address and to hear the drivers push their responsibility or fault of their own onto the restaurant.
I have also received food where the sauce or food was all over the bottom of the bag, so I didn't get to use the sauce I bought or sometimes food. I will never be using Grubhub ever again!
I will never use grubhub again! I ordered food for 4 people to be delivered at our job and we got the wrong size drinks, one of my friends didn't even get her meal and we had to ask the restaurant to comp us a meal (which they graciously did!) because there was an entire meal missing. I'm pretty sure the driver ate it. Anyway, our fries were cold, he hauled our food around in the trunk of his car, and we had to wait for our food for over an hour. I used Grubhub this once to just try it out and it sucked. I will use Doordash (I've never had a bad experience there) from now on!
Terrible customer service! Ordered calzone and dessert at 3ish pm, didn't get my food till 5pm COLD! Not to mention driver contacted me on phone asking me my address number, which she should of had, it was raining lightly and I went outside to look for driver. Then I see a lady coming from opposite side of my place. I ask her if she was from Grubhub and she said yes and went back to get my food she left on someone else's doorstep. I pointed to my address above my garage and the direction of my place. She left my food in front of someone else's door and was planning on leaving and not letting me know. If I had not gone out when I did, I would have paid for food that went to someone else! I called customer service about the lateness and they wanted to give me 10% then 20% off next order, really! Horrible, horrible service from both customer service and driver! I will NEVER order from them again!
Placed an order through Grubhub for food from the Boston Burger Company in Somerville, MA. The order was prepared and given to the driver but 20 minutes later we got a message from grubhub saying the driver would not make the delivery and canceled our order. I called Grubhub but they seemed to not care at all and would not tell me why the order was canceled.
Okay, so my address is #1628. The driver went to number #1638. He kept saying that it was where GPS told him to go. Told him he was at wrong address over and over, gave up and decided that if I wanted to eat today then I had to go get my food from him. Had to leave my office in the pouring rain, to go meet this guy who refused to bring it to the correct address. Grub Hub was so nice to refund the tip I had auto given him at checkout. Gee thanks.
I have been the recipient of ads in my email for months now and so i finally decided to try and use a coupon for $10.00 off of a $15.00 or more order. My order was in the shopping cart and tried to checkout and apply the coupon but it ended with "Coupon code does not apply"... Why send out Bull$#*! that doesn't work or has fine print that disqualifies you. I probably would have ordered anyways but now i would rather starve that use this service. Misleading ads makes me pissed off and I also unsubscribed, so great job ad team, you get an F. Nothing tastes as good as the truth but it can be tough to swallow!
Ordered from a restaurant I had ordered thru grub hub before. Driver couldn't find the restaurant and was called by customer service. I told them where it was but they cancelled the order anyway. Waiting for a call from Corporate we'll see if I get one.
We ordered from a local family owned restaurant. They called me to tell me the food was ready but grubhub didn't show up. In the future I will order from Doordash or Ubereats. With that I will say Tom's in Beaverton is awesome.
Attempted to give Grubhub a try this weekend and ordered repeatedly from different restaurants at different times, every single order was cancelled. Not one meal was delivered. Should be able to get food ordered between 4-6pm right? Pointless app.
I for the first time use grub hub today. My food was 22.20 go check my bank account they charge me $44.20 how does a order go from $22.20 to $44.20 I am calling my bank to cancel the enter payment. They add on all kind of fees. My tip was 20% which is about 4% no they tip over $6.00 then the delivery was free they still charge me.
I give explicit detailed instructions on how to find my townhome, because the GPS isn't always correct. I give landmarks, I repeat my address and unit number, and I give distinguishing details about my townhome because it has something that no other unit on my street has. I even tell the drivers do not leave until you verify that you have the right address, IE, ring the dang doorbell or knock on the door, and wait until someone opens it before you leave. I have all these detailed instructions, and yet the drivers continually leave my food at the wrong house. The only time I ever get a text from the driver telling me my food has been delivered, is when they deliver it to the RIGHT address, when they deliver it to someone else, I NEVER get a delivery text. I have to find out someone else got my food, via the GrubHub food tracker. It's extremely frustrating because I am disabled and cannot drive to go pick up food, so when my husband is not here I depend a lot on delivery. I tip very well, and I always tip at check out, so the drivers already know they're getting a good tip for me, you would think that that would be some incentive for them to follow instructions. GrubHub either your drivers cannot read, or they deliberately choose not to follow instructions, either way GrubHub, it reflects very poorly on you. I've been a loyal customer for over a year, and am a GrubHub+ member but tonight was the final straw, I will take my business elsewhere. I live in an area where there are multiple food delivery optionsat
My mother placed an online order for KFC which uses GrubHub as a third party at 5:16. It said the order would be ready at 5:23. I arrive 15 minutes after 5:23 to pick up my order. I called the restaurant number as instructed but my phone said user busy. After 10 minutes of this, I called GrubHub which told me to go through the drive-thru and KFC will get my order. Well it turns out, KFC never even got my order. GrubHub never sent it through. By now it was almost 6 due to both the long wait in the drive-through and multiple tries to call KFC. I was told to pull over and just wait and it will come. By the time I was finally able to get out, it had been almost an hour since my mother placed our order. I was able to talk to an employee who reported that they still haven't received it. After this my mother canceled the order. So in conclusion not only was my order not ready when GrubHub said it was but it wasn't even sent to KFC in the whole hour I was there. $#*! GrubHub.
I've ordered a few times from this app, and let me tell you! Horrible drivers, horrible customer service! My order was canceled without my consent. I received and email stating I had canceled the order. Never again will I use this app. You're better off with Uber eats! Stay away from this horrible terrible delivery service.
Poor service and too expensive. I paid $11 all together in fees, and they forgot an item from my order. When I called back, they apologized and said they would bring my item... and then never showed up. WORST FOOD DELIVERY SERVICE EVER!
Contact the restaurant directly. The menu prices are outrageously marked up. Over 25%! Our restaurant charged us 50.40. Grub hub charges 74$! That's for us to pick it up ourselves! I clicked on the menu on Yelp and had no idea it was ordering under Grubhub.
My review is not a a customer but as a Restaurant. Grubhub charges us 20.00% Commission on Online delivery orders, 20% on Online Pickup orders and 10% Delivery Commission. ON top of these OUT OF CONTROL COMMISSION PERCENTAGE.(Is the wild, wild west with commissions. Government should put a ceiling on all these). On top of the exorbitant commission Grubhub gives you a statement for all the activity for a month and the deposits to your account. You check your bank and NO. DEPOSIT NOT THERE. 2 MONTHS finally a part there and 1/2 of the deposit missing. You call-chat customer care and 7 or 8 people "chatting" and nobody resolves the issue. Horrible Grubhub! If Grubhub charges all these fees. Makes the Restaurant look bad and no contact, no customer care. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE VERY POORLY TRAINED.
I place a order with them at a timely matter to get my food delivered but it was mess up not on my part but theirs and I was promised a refund which I had to call and remind them I didn't hesitate to take my money but sure is taking they time to refund me my money.
