Horrible

0 Stars. Ive ordered 3 times from grubhub with issues every time. I ordered tonight and my order was scheduled for 8:28-8:38. I get a call from them at 8:40. Which is 40 minutes after they accepted my order and took my money. When they called (which my order was already supposed to be here) they told me they cancelled my order and it will take 3-5 days to refund my money. Which they took instantly off my card. It also happened to be the last of my money. So now, no money, no food, nothing to reimburse me for my time and hunger. Which again they didnt tell me till after it was supposed to be delivered. I had to speak with 2 different people who cant even fully understand and speak English. So i go hungry tonight. It will be the last time i use this piece of dung service. So im eating water tonight for dinner.

If you arent going to take care of your customers then dont offer the service and dont take the money till its delivered. From now on i will Use door dash or i will stick to my Domino's. Atleast Domino's shows appreciation to my orders and always fast hot and fresh. Im hangry and grubhub has my money. Crooks thieves dinner ruiners. I lefit will have no food tonight. Hope everyone reads this and hope people realize the $#*!tiness the conpany has. And overcharging. Theres charges for delivery, tip, service fee, process fee. On a $6 order cost me almost $12 and cant get that back for 3-5 days.

My name is Terry Campbell and I was going to just go online and order a takeout from Salvos pizza in Smyrna! I ordered a salad with a pizza and the salad was 9.99 and the pizza was 22! When I got there that salad and pizza was more than the menu price and the little salad was not at all worth the money! They said grub hub just ripped me off! Their salads are only 6,99 so I felt robbed!

Had my order cancelled as the driver was on their way to deliver the food all because there was an issue with the Grubhub app. Lots of wasted time and money and every party involved (the driver, the restaurant, and the order recipient) failed to get anything out of the transaction because of Grubhub's crappy product.

I have ordered 5 times, 3 times was a ‘problem with order' cancel your subscription, and DO NOT order! This place is pathetic! Drivers are great, but they don't know who they are working for… Sad to say… It says that I must submit a rating to post… my actual rating is **************

Ordered our food at 6:30pm. Delivery in 45 minutes was the estimate. Five minutes later, received notification that the order was delayed by 30 minutes. Then silent. 2 hours later, our driver showed 30 miles away and a delivery time of 11:00pm. Restaurant closed as 9:30pm, so we called to confirm. No order placed. Never received our order. 20 minutes on hold with customer service for an offer of a 10% discount on our next order. It took 20 minutes to get a full refund, which posted to my bank account a full 5 days later.

Horrible

You have the choice of getting contact-less drop off, where the delivery person just rings your doorbell and leaves it in your door step or for them to ring and hand it to you. I chose the hand if to me, but the guy just rang the bell and split! The order was totally wrong. The restaurant (Lemonade) put a note in the bag saying that they didn't have what I ordered so they just took it upon themselves to substitute whatever they wanted. And the one thing that they did get right was a watery container of meat with no meat in it. Just juice. I'll never use GrubHub or Lemonade again!

My reviews about a driver that works for you. His ask wife was staying with me. He delivered to my neighbor and was going on and on about me and his ex-wife saying that she stole his car blah blah blah blah that's not the point. His job is to deliver the food not to talk bad about other people in the neighborhood. So I do not want him delivering food in my neighborhood ever again. I live on Keller Street in Eugene Oregon. Please fix this problem thank you

GrubHub is usually great but…………

GrubHub is usually great for my service, I have used them for awhile but this past Wednesday was where I decided to stop using them. I ordered me a sub from Firehouse subs. I was alerted that my driver was Charles. Everything was fine until he came to drop off my food. First he did not knock nor alert me that my food was dropped off, only reason why I knew to check was because I had to take my trash out. When I looked at the order it was incorrect. Mind you my name was totally different from what was on the receipt and bag, secondly the person ordered three subs and I only ordered one. So that lets me know that Charles did not look at the order to verify that he would be delivering the correct order. Anyways, I called him back and told him the situation. When he knocks on my door, he stated he would take the food back but not before asking me why I did not want to keep that order? Like really? So he told me he would come back and bring my food. I waited for about 20 minutes until GrubHub called me to tell me he was not coming back because he had another order to do wow. So they told me they could give me a refund and guess what haven't got it yet. So sorry GrubHub I will no longer be using you guys.

Literally didn't know when a driver would be available to deliver my food, waited over an hour as the delivery time just continuously went up and up, went from 9:30 to 10:30. Called the restaurant and they were like oh yeah your order has been ready, called grub hub and they were like, oh yeah I have no idea when a driver will be available, but do you want to wait and see? I was like wait you dont know if there will be a driver? She was like yeah but I will give you 10% off future orders, I was like oh there will not be any future orders and cancel this one.

We were ordering regularly using Grubhub. Now, every single time we order through there - and I'm talking a good 5 out of 8 times, we are always missing food and / or drinks! If I could give a NEGATIVE 1 Star, I would! Unless you enjoy losing money to these crooks, don't order through Grubhub!

Coppelia + Grubhub = Incompetence defined. After charging and confirming my order both via app and text, missing the delivery window they estimated and then delaying delivery by another half hour, an hour after the food was originally to arrive, I message Grubhub to be told the restaurant that accepted, charged and confirmed the order was not even open and never got my order - so why program the app to accept orders and lie about food being on the way, twice?!?! Customers beware of incompetence by both brands.

Do not use Grubhub
June 1, 2021

After placing a $107 order, delivery was promised within 60-70 minutes, ok with me.
Received another message 40 minutes later indicating my food is on the way and will be delivered early by 15 minutes, Yay!
4 minutes later another message that order will deliver 15-20 minutes later than last message, order reassigned to a different driver, the original driver "rejected" my order.
30 minutes later another message advised "something went wrong" and my order had been canceled.
How does this company stay in business?
For my trouble and inconvenience I was offered a 15% discount on my next order, ridiculous considering I had to scramble at the last minute to find dinner for starving couple.

False advertising

Went to place my first order with a 25% off promo code. The only condition of this code was that it be a new account. An over 100$ order received only 10$ off with the promo. So I call Grubhub customer service. They proceed to give me the runaround for 20 minutes and settle on, there is nothing we can do.

So I told them exactly what I was going to do, contact the state attorney generals office and file a false advertising complaint, contact their corporate office, and write up my experience everywhere online I could find. Hence this. I ended up cancelling it, and instead of a nice night in where we didn't have to cook, they just wasted an hour of our time.

Would not recommend any of the delivery apps really. They all add either egregious service fees (this 10 item order? 20$ in fees from grubhub). Would suggest you only support restaurants by using in house delivery. This industry is extremely predatory to both drivers and customers, and honestly it needs severe regulation. In the absence of that, there isn't really any point in patronizing these.

I should have read the reviews before using Grubhub I see now what they have the rating that they have. For over 2 hours out of my day today trying to correct their issues with this terrible order. My order was over 40 minutes late and they blamed the restaurant after speaking to the restaurant the drive arrived 15 minutes after they sent the order over this was an order for 10 people, 4 pizzas and a large salad. This was not the restaurants fault and they should have taken full responsibility for their mistakes. They do not know what they are doing and need technical help and should never lie to the client. At the end I was offered $15.00 off my next purchase what next purchase I will never use them again. Own up to your mistakes GRUBHUB. Order # ************** 05/27/2021

Every time I order from Grubhub it is an ordeal to get them to deliver to the instructions I put in with my order. Today I had to cancel the order because the delivery girl obviously does not speak English and neither does her boss. I will never order from grubhub again. How dare they charge any amount or money for their truly crappy service.
