This app ia getting worse and worse.
THEY LIE TO DRIVERS! I recently sent my proof of health insurance to get my subsidy and they kept hanging up on me and nit answering my questions so that they dont have to pay me my money. They blocked my option to submit the proof of health insurance even whrn i was already eligible for subsidy level 2 which is a $1227 subsidy. They pretend that I have app issues but the app works very well. I worked more than the hours requested to qualify and they just ignore me hanging up the phone
Food was delivered to wrong address, I called the restaurant they barely spoke English, they refused to do a corrective action, they refuse to remove trash and would not take care of a bad customer experience.! Whether it was through GrubHub or not they should feel responsible for the fact that they prepared the food! Now I have trash in the hall that is rotting and attracting bugs I refuse to pay for somebody else's trash! Who pays $37 for a kid's meal to start with!
I placed an order & received confirmation that my order was placed and accepted by the restaurant. I get a call from the Grubhub driver to let me know that the restaurant is closed for the week! I call Grubhub to inform them and get a refund. It will take 3-5 business day to get my refund. When it took them less than 3 minutes to take the money from my account! WTH.
Ps: i have worked with customer service and was trained with how to deal with upset or irate customers. Grubhub needs to train their customer service reps some more.

Give them exact directions but still they screw up putting me at risk for a fall my friend owes a restaurant and I see the drivers most are broken down spoked
I had Chicken Fried Steak order that had no gravy! GrubHub offered me 10% next order … that's tax!

We were given 2 gift cards for GrubHub by friends who wanted to help us during a medical crisis. Unfortunately, we live too far away from the metro area to use GrubHub in our home town. I finally had the opportunity to order through GrubHub for a meal at our daughter's house today. I am shocked and appalled that the total order added on $30+ "service fee" plus tax and a delivery fee. By the time I added a tip for the driver, we basically paid for the entire meal ourselves and the gift cards were wasted by the additional fees that GrubHub charges. These gift cards were supposed to be a blessing to help us through challenging times and left nothing but bad feelings about the money that others WASTED while believing they where helping us. Don't waste your money on GrubHub gift cards! Just give someone the cash or buy a generic Visa gift card instead... those are actually useful anywhere.
Ordered 22.56 for food came back wet soggy because of driver late request refund been six days instead of full refund they're giving me 6.30 I still have not received the refund stay away this is fraud
They totally screwed up my very first order- didn't get one of the dishes I ordered, and I had yo harass them for a refund. My second- and now absolutely the last- order they charged me for immediately but come to find out, the order was never placed according to their records! They couldn't refund my money right away- because of course not! But said someone will call me back within 24 hours. I've never had these problems with Doordash, and their fees are lower. I'll never use Grubhub ever again if this is what their business is always like.
I've tried Grubhub 3 times. I forgot how horrible this delivery service is. The food arrived an hour late, and cold. Customer service was ridiculous on the phone, following some bad script. New York City has too many good delivery services to waste your night, time and money waiting on Grubhub. It's a clown car.
It used to be 1 in 4 delivers were slow or not following instructions - but now just horrific drivers and delays. Food deliveries taking 2-3 hours. I literally watched a driver stop at walmart for 30 minutes then continue on to my house - while I was on the phone with support where they were claiming the food prep was what delayed the order. And absolutely no support - horrible - getting worse
Each time I have ordered from GrubHub my order has been cancelled. This time it was 45min later, and I have nowhere else to order from at this point. It's too late. Don't use this service. They are completely unreliable.
When I search "submarine" or "sub sandwich" it gives results that are miles away and not the place I know sells subs close by, even with "distance filter." I was hoping to find the place that's 4 blocks away called Jursey Mikes and already has map tracking set up! What are you doing here, Grubhub? Watch out for their manipulative search algorithm
Delivery without customer service, I order chips at a restaurant he set a term that my package will be immediately message me as it gets picked up. No message called. Delivery man cell # was given. Man that answered phone seem confused after given address. The only words this person knew was DUDE DUE IN DIFFERENT TONE LEVELS. FOUND PACKAGE, AND A LOWER DUDE TONE. A missing link dropping off food unannounced.
After a dear friend lost her husband, we decided to set up a Meal Train for the family. We weren't aware she had no computer & her phone was too old to download the Grub Hub app, which most people used. We promptly sent a request to send Physical Gift Cards instead of virtual ones. We lost all the virtual ones, & she couldn't use the physical ones. She had over $400 in gift cards. When I tried to request a refund back to the contributors, I spent 3 days, 15 emails, & hours on hold before being deneyed. She was planning on reimbursing the people out of pocket, but we finally just sent the cards back for them to use, give away, or argue with Grub Hub themselves.
So I just traveled from NC to my new home in FL, and simply wanted sushi... Decided to use Grubhub--BIG MISTAKE! So the system said they were having issues with my card, so I called my bank... My bank says that they charged me TWICE! When I called Grubhub customer service, they said I wouldn't be charged, but it was auto-flagged as fraudulent because I used my NC zipcode that is associated with my card. Now I have worked in Merchant Services for some time, and it is not unusual to have food delivered to one zipcode, and then use your home zipcode for billing, i. E. vacationing, etc. At the end of the day, they got it wrong, told me they would review my account, and I told them they have lost a customer...
DO NOT USE GRUBHUB!
Gps showed driver in the parking lot at the business next door to the restaurant up until 20 minutes after expected delivery time food came 30 minutes late later than expected, food was completion cold. Inedible. And I had to tip ahead of time so driver got a five dollar tip for that.
Stole $25 from me wasted 2 hours of my life was lied to, happy birthday to me that was my gift card and first and last time I will ever use GrubHub POS.
Sent me an estimated time of arrival, then sent the driver to another delivery entirely! Offered order tracking & watched as the restaurant completed cooking my order, yet the driver drives farther & farther from the restaurant. I know the ETA is now inaccurate & only 10min after watching the driver drive farther away so I receive an updated ETA. This is BS service & crappy expectations! Figure it out & offer appropriate timeframes to begin with so I don't waste my time & end up w/cold food!
