I have had 3 separate orders say they made it that never showed I am now deleting this app. I recommend everyone delete this app and go with another delivery service.
For some reason we got someone else's order and medium rare admitted it but did nothing to correct the situation. Be aware the drivers deliver the wrong items.
Use any other service. I know so many people who feel scammed by this company. Any promotion this company does is just a ploy to get your money without them providing the basic service you would expect in a customer-respecting fashion. Avoid at all costs.
I ordered pizza for my family and I when the food arrived, the order was wrong. The driver was nice but the person who took the order read back my Order and confirmed what I was ordering. When I called the place I ordered from they couldn't help me. I called grub hub yet again to let them know my order was wrong. They said they would refund me for what was on my receipt that I didn't order. When I checked my bank account today, there is a charge for a pizza place with the same name but in an entirely different state. I will not order through the service again.
Yes hello, just recently a driver for grubhub and let me tell you. Stay away from it, it is complete crap and they don't even bother to do anything to help anyone. If you are having a problem, they don't really care. They just want their money, customers are spending way much money for orders when you can get it for a cheaper price then 40 bucks to have it dropped off. Then us drivers, don't get paid much because grubhub snatches most of it. They are just pathetic to work with, and they are pathetic as a delivery business.
The order is never ready when I arrive at the restaurant to pick up. That reflects poorly on me as a driver. I often find myself apologizing on behalf of the restaurant because I have to wait for them to make the order after I arrive to pick it up. There needs to be a better communication between GrubHub and the restaurant to fix this issue and speed up the process so that is drivers dont have to take the heat. Maybe install a rating system where the driver can report the restaurant for not being in compliance with the orders that they receive through GrubHub. Many times I arrive at a restaurant and they can't even find the ticket for the order that they received and have to fullfil off the GrubHub tablets.
I Hate my boyfriend ordering through the Grubhub. Stupid Grubhub driver Emily who worked in SF delivered wrong place and we can't even text her or call her to explain she delivered wrong place. We should talk through help chat only. I'm so starving now $#*!ing disappointed to get food. And we should reorder food agian… we gonna order through uber eat.

I placed an advanced order at 1pm Friday for a delivery from a high end restaurant for 7pm. At 6:20 Grubhub texted me stating something went wrong and they cancelled my order. They said they refunded my order and sent me an email with details. No details in the email. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager to see if they knew what happened and they apologized and said they do no do take out for Grubhub or any other delivery company on the weekends because they are just too busy.
Why would Grubhub accept my order and my payment knowing this restaurant does not do take out on weekends. I called their customer service and first was told the restaurant ran out of something I ordered so they cancelled it. I told them this was not true, the restaurant had not run out of anything. I was then told that I cancelled the order, again, not true. After speaking to a supervisor, they offered to give me 2 $25 coupons for a future order and would refund my credit card. Looks like my credit card was never charged and the 2 coupons are for minimum $25 orders. So I have to spend at least $25 to use the coupon. How can I trust them after this failed delivery. This was my anniversary and they ruined it.
I just sat and waited for my order to come. I got a woman who didn't know where she was going and so she called me. I started giving her directions about where east and north was and she said that I was being rude to her and that she was just going to tell them that she felt battered or something and that she wasn't gonna deliver my order. And I told her I'm not being rude to you I'm giving you directions and you don't like the way I'm giving you the directions. I wasn't trying to be rude I was trying to give her directions to my home so she can drop off my meal. So after waiting from 4:33 till 6:30 that woman decided she didn't wanna give me my order so she didn't. And then I couldn't make a new order because I was blocked by GrubHub until they're done with their investigation. I never said a mean word the woman I didn't say anything rude to her I gave her directions and then I got punished. As she eats my food in laughs. I'll never use GrubHub again.
Worst experience ever, they messed up my whole order and when I refused the order. They will not refund my order. So paid $120 for no food and now I have to try and get my CC to reverse the charge. Use another service, not this one. Their customer service will not refund either.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Driver blazed right by my front door, got lost, called me and wanted to know where I was, I tried to give him instructions, he argued with me, told me he was at the right place because "I'm where GPS told me to go", I told him to forget GPS and tried to give him directions, he argued with me saying he was at the right place, then cut me off. Saw him go blazing by in the other direction and disappeared. I then found a message that he had "delivered" my order. Obviously trying to $#*! me. NEVER AFAIN, GRUBHUB SUCKS
Once again after an hour and several notifications saying my orders done and the driver is there. I get a status update saying my order was cancelled! The reason stated was and I quote," The restaurant refused to serve the driver."? Why the:#!$!
Please never use this service as it was terrible.The delivery driver threatened me physically. Grub hub did nothing.
I ordered food using Grub Hub. The driver never showed. He lied and said he delivered my food, he didn't.
Ordered two sandwiches from a restaurant for pickup via GrubHub. Order went completely through except for the final confirmation screen. "There was an error, try again later" appears. There is no indication at that point that the order had been processed and your payment method has been charged!
So, I re-did the order. Same thing. Tried a third time with a different payment method thinking that was the problem. Same problem, goes through the payment, then displays an error message.
My lunch ended up costing over 60$$ and the restaurant filled three duplicate orders. They can't back it out or cancel the order. Meanwhile GrubHub get's their premium by charging more for menu items.
They've got quite a scam going!
Abosulutely DO NOT ORDER from GrubHub. Do it the old fashioned way by calling the restaurant directly to place your order, or use the restaurants web site.
This isn't their first time completely screwing up a promotional event and most definitely won't probably be their last. I think the drivers are fine AT TIMES. But their site and support is a huge yikes.
This is my last time trying to use grubhub, although i was refunded my money, i waited an hr for my food just for grubhub to cancel my order without reason, its no wonder why they have a 1 star rating. I'll take my business else where. I also never got the email they say was sent to explain things.
I ordered from Pizza Stop through Grubhub. I requested delivery but was informed they didn't have enough drivers for the delivery so I picked up the order myself. I was still charged the delivery fee although I picked up the order. I was refused a refund for the delivery fee.
Place an order for my favorite restaurant at 11:30 a.m. at 2:00 a.m. I get a message from GrubHub saying they canceled my order I had spoken with customer service prior around 1:10 to try to find out where my order was and I told them specifically do not cancel my order well what do they do they canceled my order I called the restaurant and the restaurant said it been sitting on the front desk for about an hour GrubHub is the worst they suck

Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
