Every time I place an order, the delivery time keeps getting extended several times until three hours later I either receive my food cold, or they cancel the order! Door dash is just as bad.

We ordered pizza and it took our grub hub driver an hour and a half to deliver the food. By the time we got it everything was cold and soggy. Very disappointed.
I placed an order for two meals and received a notice on my app that one of the meal was cancelled. No instructions about how to replace the meal. I called the restaurant and was left on hold. I texted the driver, and no response. I called customer service and was lectured about how I should have called them first. So after paying delivery fees and driver tip, we paid $30 for one meal to split between us. When I order grocery delivery they call me and let me know what they are out of and ask if I want to replace it. Grub Hub doesn't care. The drivers have always been great, but Grub Hub is not worth the extra cost or the extra frustration.
Grubhub+ supposedly provides you with free delivery on orders over $12. So why do they keep charging you for delivery? Before you finalize the order, the receipt say "free delivery", but when you place it you are charged an additional delivery fee. I shouldn't have to pay for something I'm already paying monthly for.
I recently started using Grubhub and at first I would have given them 5 stars as everything was awesome but lately the drivers are arriving an hour after my food order was placed and my food has been sitting at the restaurant for about 45 minutes or longer, so my hot food is cold and my cold food is warm by the time I get it. I have had to ask for my money back 2 times now and it is simply annoying. The problem has been a driver accepting my order then dropping it 30 minutes later and waiting on another drive to accept it, as well as a driver who was farther away from the area of picking up and it taking too long for them to pick up the order on time. The restaurants were not busy and I always tip 20% or more and even give extra cash tips at times. Get it together Grubhub, as you will lose customers in my area.
I hate Grubhub. Customer service is not helpful. Good always get stolen. And they didn't do anything about it but flagg your account
I would advise anybody if you see a grubhub logo for a restaurant, don't order from there.
I just ordered. They say the food was delivered. To where I ask.
They don't tried to call the driver got voice mail. They refunded my money and canceled the order.

I've never had a good experience ordering from Grubhub but I decided to sign up to drive anyways because Uber Eats will $#*! over their drivers at the drop of a hat.
I can't even sign into the driver app. I've talked to support twice. The first time they sent me a form to create a support ticket which they closed 20 minutes later without even contacting me. The second time I spent 45 minutes on the phone with a woman who ostensibly didn't even know what the driver app looked like. Constantly gave me suggestions to do things that I couldn't do without first signing in. I described to her 4 separate times that I couldn't sign in AT ALL before she finally told me she would have tech support call me.
Do they even train their phone support people? At all? How is it possible that "I can't sign in" takes 45 minutes to understand? This lady didn't even know what the app looked like let alone how to help me.
I'm at my wits end. If this is how Grubhub handles support then I don't want to drive for them.
I ordered ron two places that couldn't take my order then grubhub don't wanna refund me my money it takes 3/5 business days and then i never get my money back!… then offer me free delivery that cost 9.99 and a 5 dollar credit…. Wtf… deleted the app and here my review…. GRUBHUB SUCKS
Grubhub took my order, my credit card information over the phone and they never placed my order with the restaurant, but did charge my credit card! It took 4 calls to speak to an agent who would lift a finger to help. Grubhub employees were curt, unhelpful, hung up on me and demonstrated no desire whatsoever to help the customer. The agent outright lied both to me and the restaurant.

GrubHub is horrible now, low orders, not telling you where you are going, Gas sky high and the orders are super low. No blocks, to long to get a order, I'm really disappointed in them now. They need to change their policy back and think about their drivers.
Becarefull when ordering from them. I order and picking up the food my self once i camecto the resturant and pick up food the bills is only "subtotal: 40.85" + tax 3.83 which total 44.68. But they charge me 54.62. How ate they charging me when i picking up my own food? Where that 10 buck go? So please carefull when using them they cheat so many ppl without other ppl knowing it
I have been using Grubhub for 4 years now and never had a problem until 2022. People write about bad customer service, however I always had really good customer service experience until recently. Any time there was missing items or due to food allergies I would contact them and they would fix the problem by either giving me a refund for the item missing or the item that was prepared incorrectly. Well on February 9th I ordered from McDonald's and some of my food was missing. I contacted customer support and they said there was a block on my account from receiving to many refunds. I was ordering about 7 to 8 times per month and would have a problem maybe once or twice if that. But there was a block on my account and so they recommended contacting my bank which I did. Now I have a full block on my account and can not order from them even. They say someone will get back to me within 24-48 hours, however I am still waiting for someone to get back to me about the problem I encountered on February 9th. To put it simply, Grubhub can be a good place to order food, but if there ends up being a problem good luck getting the support needed to fix said problem.
What happens when your driver doesn't pick up all your food? You gotta go get it or be out the food. Grubhub so solution was 20% off my next order. I'll just pick it up myself losers
I did a survey for a $5 dollar gift card and at the end of the survey it said they would send me the $5 to the associated email. I check and the email again and the To: is *******@privaterelay.appleid.com which isn't my email I know I'm never going to see those $5. I'm annoying if I would've caught that before never would've participated. Never again GH likes to trick people.
Ordered. Waited. Contacted driver 4+ times. Was delivered to wrong home address. Tried to help driver. Tried to file a complaint in app and the complaint department was "down." So I called, and they told me I had to go through the app. Messaged the driver again because the app complaint section wasn't working, still. Called the company again and they basically said "whoops - we'll refund you. We hope you'll use us again! :)) ))". Two hours later.
Grubhub has the worst customer service and is a scam. I was looking up a local restaurant and clicked on the restaurants site
We received a text saying out order large order ($200+) had been cancelled at the time it was to be delivered. Thinking we needed to double check with the restaurant we found out that the order had been ready for 20 minutes and was waiting to be picked up. If we hadn't checked with them they would have lost not only the sale but all the food that they had prepared for us. I'm discussed with how Grubhub handled this situation and thankful that we reached out to the restaurant directly.
Besides my order arriving cold and no cheese on my chesseburgers, I spent 54.00 on an order from Wendy's and they refunded 6.71. Stick to Uber eats from now on.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
