This is my second order from Grove and I'm pretty impressed with the products. They're not extremely high and you're helping the environment so that's good. The only problem I have so far, is that I ordered these trash cans on clearance for $25. But they're not trash cans or recycling cans they're more like bins. I'm not going to return them but I won't be ordering anything else for a while.

Another auto-ship subscription scam. Decent products, but you have to agree to auto-ship subscription to buy anything. Just let consumers buy stuff. Don't bury the small print and sign people up for an expensive subscription services without their knowledge. You also can't change your payment method online, you have to call them. I despise companies that don't allow full user control via their site. This screams of scamming.

Just let consumers buy stuff. Don't bury the small print and sign people up for an expensive subscription services without their knowledge. You also can't change your payment method online, you have to call them. I despise companies that don't allow full user control via their site. This screams of scamming.

I narrowed down my list in the cart to 5 items and ordered ($37-39). Now all of sudden I have been charged for $70! And was told "I cannot cancel the order" why I have been charged for something I did not order! I am assuming it is some system error. But it is not helpful at all when the company does not want to fix the problem! All they say is "cannot cancel the order" so I have to pay for what I did not order!?!?!?

Tip for consumers:
Screenshot the list of item you purchase before you submit your order. Because the confirmation email sent me all the extra items I end up removing from the list!!!!

Their products don't work well. They are diluted and it is impossible to cancel your orders once they start sending them. I am extremely frustrated and dissatisfied with everything about this company. Don't find out the hard way like I did

Since Grove went public and now there is no way to reach customer service after business hours EST. The text number doesn't work either. My box arrived damaged and soaked with an unsecured bleach based product which damaged not only the merchandise, but my clothing as well. After years of monthly orders, I am cancelling.

Check to see if customer service is available before signing up.

They will not send an item or 2, then not refund. Rather, they want you to spend more money on their horrid products by "crediting" your account. I could go on and on, but won't since I've already lived through their BS. But I have to say that this pretend-woke corporation luvs to go on and on about "sustainability" and they use it as an excuse to not ship the items that were not received. If they truly cared about the environment, they would not use 3X the packaging materials that others use. Plus, they'd make decent products so that you didn't have to use 10X as much. ZERO stars is too much. They get -100 stars from me.

I tried Grove after my daughter told me about it and I saw an Ad on Facebook. It took 5 weeks to receive and when I did receive it, 2 of my bottles of cleaner had broken and spilled out all over everything. They wouldn't ship replacements, offered a refund for one of the items, $8.00, but said I got the other one free. My whole shipment was spilled and covered in a mess. Highly dissatisfied with Grove.

Promised free $30 Mrs. Meyers kit with first order. Kit was in my basket when I checked out but not in confirmation email received after completing checkout. Contacted Customer Service; they responded with $20 credit on my next order. Not interested in any future orders, so I requested that they send me the kit. No response. DM'd via FB requesting order and subscription cancellation; no response after 4 hours. Instituted dispute with PayPal.

I ordered from Grove. A month later I received a bill for $173 for "subscriptions". Most of these "subscription items" were the free gifts they had given during my first purchase, the other items were what I had purchased that ONE time.

The company auto enrolled me in a subscription for all items in my first checkout cart.

It's gross when a company likes this acts like that. Please be advised

The way how Grove tricks customers in subscription speaks of unethical business practices. When you create an account they mention that you will never run out of stuff with a subscription model. You would assume that you can choose to subscribe or place a regular order. But it's not the case, once you place an order, you have signed up for a subscription. And it is never mentioned during the check out process.
This lack of transparency seems intentional. I find it very unethical and I can't trust a company like that.

As a person who worked on a subscription service for one of the nation-wide retailers, I'm sad to see those bad business practices.

I think one day they will be sued for that. Would be similar to a law suit against Audible.

Tip for consumers:
If you signed make sure you check your order every month and cancel items you don't need.

Had an order that never showed up because lost in USPS. Grove said they will reship and the shipment is still sitting at "waiting for USPS to pickup" it has been 21 days. Customer service says I have to wait 24 hours for supervisor to respond? I asked what am I waiting a response on, catch you just ship me the producet that I paid for almost a month ago. She says no. I ask her if there is anyway to get ahold of a supervisor now instead of waiting 24 hours (already been waiting 21 days for my product) and they go completely silent and ignore the chats.

Watch out they charged me a non refundable 29.00 charge which I didn't authorize. I see no less packages with this company. I don't trust that their mint antibacterial cleaner really works. It don't smell clean now does it make me feel confident it works. I thought sorry bottles were nice but they're just well made junk. Triggers don't work well. Products are expensive and you have to use a lot of elbow grease to get it viral. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND JOINING AT ALL

The automatic, sign you up for VIP membership and do not tell you they charge you $20.00 after a month if you do not know this and they sign you up for automatic delivery if you do not cancel that too. Again you have no choice they just do it. They change you order and ship thing you do not even order and charge you for it. And they wait 30 days to ship your order so you can not return it as there is only a 30 day return policy. Buyer BEWARE!

I tried to cancel my subscription and no matter how you navigate their website or app, it keeps sending you in circles. It's very vague and I just want it permanently cancelled. It's the worst company I have ever dealt with.

I intended to order three items from this website I did not understand why they had a dozen items in my cart that they were suggesting was free it was not evident that I was subscribing to a variety of different services and that ultimately they would actually charge me for these items for some reason which I never figured out either. I did after getting the confirmation email go back and unsubscribe me from everything and remove all of my credit card information which I actually did not know they were storing and also I had to actually fill out a form in order to remove it. They put all this stuff in your cart and it's up to you to opt out of it and it really isn't very clear I do a lot of online shopping and this is never happened to me. So they shipped me this list of things and then build me for it as well even though it was listed as free in my cart. I will not do business with this company because this practice is really bad they acted like it should be obvious that I was subscribing but it really was not because I would not subscribe and I am did not understand what was happening in that cart

I ordered something when it all first came out. I later cancelled my subscription and a year after canceling I am still being charged and received nothing in the mail, I have not been on their website, I have no made any order and I have had to disputed claims with my bank, PayPal, and the company yet still being charged. I have tried to reach out to the company SEVERAL times via phone, email, live chat, etc and no one has gotten back to me! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

I had a few items in a order that were "Grove" branded products that were defective almost immediately upon their initial use. The only way you can reach this company with any issue is by email. I sent three of these emails over the course of several months and I received zero response. I used to purchase 90% of my household cleaning products from this brand and now have since halted any further purchases. Granted plenty of items I purchased were completely fine but since it's not my responsibility to eat the cost of their poorly designed or poorly manufactured products, I expected in the least the item to be replaced. Heck, a "I'm sorry" email would of been better then what they did to resolve the issue, which is absolutely nothing. Buyer beware. Nothing they sell is so exclusive that you couldn't get somewhere else or at least a very comparable version.

Lack of resolution and customer responsiveness. Was actually told by the supervisor that I am not a valuable customer cause I complained about my first order and they are not interested these customers long term. Literally! All I asked was for a replacement for an item that came broken! Then I went to my account and they had wiped me clean- no account existed- that includes erasing my order history, and my VIP membership- which costs $20 all gone! What extortion and arrogance! Seems like if disagree and ask for something against their policy - like please replace the broken item- you get the "cancel culture" treatment. Move on,
There better more ethical companies out there.

I really wanted to love grove but the way they just add random stuff to your cart is shady. After I get an order I always go on the app and update my next order because I know I will forget. This last time I updated it I had around $60 of stuff in my cart. I got the reminder notification saying my order was about to ship but I thought I already updated my cart so it's fine…. Wrong. I get on my online banking and see I was charged $119. I go back on the app and there was a lot of random stuff added to my cart I didn't want / can't even use. I don't recommend grove unless you have time to stalk your cart every 3 days.

You can customize the shipping frequency for each product in your subscriptions or remove them completely by clicking the "x" in the top right corner of the product photo. Items in your product subscriptions will be automatically placed in your cart based on those settings. Removing items from your subscription does not remove them from your cart if they have already populated for your next shipment. YOU MAY HAVE SOME REASONS YOU WISH TO USE GROVE... SO OK, PRESS AHEAD. BUT UNHAPPY IS ME, TRYING TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT AFTER TRYING THEM. They make it nearly impossible to find how to cancel out, on their SELF DESIGNED WEBSITE. When you do find it and say to cancel, they do not cancel your membership, the just keep it valid but "asleep". If you want to remove your credit card, you CANNOT unless you enter a new card that is valid. It just feels manipulative and sleezy. I have asked them again, to close/cancel my account out. We will see if they can do that.

I received an email today charging my PayPal account for $68.35. I did not order anything from them and after talking to a supervisor, Anthony, I was very disappointed to a point where I cancelled my membership. He agreed that it was an error on their part and apologize 10 times but there was nothing he could do unless I agree to receive the shipment and take it down to UPS to return it and until I do that they will not credit my account for $68.35. I was not on auto ship and Anthony verified that. He does not know how this happened. Quite frankly, I have seen the products I like at Rite Aid and in other stores. I now understand why their ratings are so poor.

Customer service needs to be revamped. They sure don't know how to make a customer that has been wronged feel better. I didn't order these products, and I don't want to have to go to UPS to return them and I also don't wanna have to wait for my money to be put back into my checking account

Sneakily charged my credit card years after I cancelled my service. They didn't ship me anything so I wasn't aware until doing a review of my credit card charges. I called to ask for a refund but they refused. DISHONEST company with DISHONEST practices. Don't give them your credit card!

I ordered for the first time & have NEVER been so upset & disappointed in my life. 1st on quick view everything was dusty, dirty, and gritty like it had been on a warehouse shelf for quite sometime. Then noticed the dates go back to 2017 & 2018 its 2020! I also didn't receive everything I paid for

Tried to edit my cart, as they showed 18 items. I only wanted 4/5. Trying to adjust it caused a double order being placed. There is apparently no live people to talk to, and trying to find out where to send concerns/complaints is hard to do. Many of the spray bottles do not work, and the paper products are poor quality.

I found their site through a facebook ad and had been wanting some Meyer peppermint products. I placed an order not knowing I was signing up to get the same thing once a month and billed for it. I was finally able after a hassle to get that cleared up when I get a charge months later that came directly out of my bank account for a yearly subscription to their website! None of this is shown on your order, these business practices are extremely deceptive and you have to waste your time trying to put a stop to it when you realize what is happening. Buy your cleaning products somewhere else and save yourself a HUGE headache!:-(
