BEWARE OF GROUPON AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I went to buy a getaway and had it in my cart and then proceeded to push the purchase button I got an SOLD OUT ERROR. How could it be sold out, when its already in my cart?
So I called customer service and the first lady I talked to was rude, then I spoke with a manager named Lindsey and she was even worse making a joke out of my situation.
Groupon is no help their just out to make money. BEWARE
I had a wonderful shopping experience with Ideeli--great product, great price, and the items were shipped and arrived within the week I ordered them. Very pleased overall!
I've ordered from this site at least 4 times over the past year and have been satisfied each and every time. Have gotten great quality clothes at discount prices... which is my goal in life! Groupon offers various neighborhood deals as well as national deals to it's consumers. I have only purchased the national deals on this website. I have never been disappointed and have always been able to use the coupon codes I received without any issues. I recommend that when you purchase from groupon that you read the fine print so you have an idea of when the coupon expires and if their are any other charges that you may be responsible for (shipping, travel expenses) that aren't included in the purchase price. I would recommend this site and I actually follow it everyday by receiving emails from a person who keeps track of these on a daily basis.
OMG! I am so frustrated and disappointed. Have never been given the run around like this company in my life. They lost my package and won't refund me my money until they find the package. It has been two months!

I love the daily emails highlighting great offers in my neighborhood. I have bought many groupons and love the experience.
I've been a member of Groupon for about a year and I think the Company is outstanding! I think the Companies the advertise with them are great and the discounts they offer to be a member are outstanding. It doesn't cost anything to become a member and they actually give you a $10.00 coupon for referrals. I recommend this Company highly...
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE! I placed an order on this scam website and it never arrived but they still charged my credit card! When I tried to contact them I realized there was not a phone number where you can reach them, only an email. When I submitted my complain, I got an email back from them saying they were going to reply within 24 hours, but they "take pride in replying within 4 hours to all emails" Bulls%&t! I got a reply 3 days after and with no help at all... the worst service out there! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

I ordered a dress from ideeli and received the package very quickly. However, it was someone else's order! I sent an email describing what I ordered along with the order number, as well as the other person's information. I received an email back from ideeli's customer service saying that my original message to them was "scrambled" and if they did not have a response in 24 hours from me, they would close the issue. I did email back, and they have not responded in their own 24 hour time frame.
1. it is their mistake
2. What if I did not check my email for 24 hours b/c it was the weekend?
3. why is there not a phone number listed on their website?

I have only bought restaurant coupons through Groupon, I never had a problem using them and the main reason I use other sites in its place is simply because their deal is only available for one day, and that's not a problem I just like to look into the product, place, service or item I'm thinking of buying.
I run a business myself and I know when things were quiet and we ran a discount on our service that it hindered instead of helped. We were overwhelmed with people all wanting the discount so we ended up giving an ok service to everyone rather than the excellent service to everyone that we are known for.
Groupon was one of the first of it's kind and, I'm just thankful for any respite from rising prices on anything. You have to remember that Groupon is only offering a discount on an existing service, they don't do the offer then try and get the people to comply, they were approached by the business with a request for the discount service, any problems with coupons or vouchers not being accepted are with the business and I expect they would be more likely to second think it if you were to threaten legal action. All in all I think that the restaurant deals are the best, as for the resorts and more expensive deals I would want the business concerned to maybe put a note on their website that they are aware of and will honor the Groupon offers.
I can't even believe the amazing customer service they provided for me! I purchased a Groupon for $200.00 that was for a $400.00 service. I was really excited that I got such a great deal on something I really wanted to do. However, due to some personal things I wasn't able to actually use the coupon I had already purchased (months after the fact I might add). I was upset for a week or so that I was just out that money, after all every penny counts these days. So after that week I decided to email their customer service just to see if there's anything they could do. I emailed explaining my situation and asked if they could even give me a partial refund, and the employee emailed me back after a few hours (fast in my experience with online companies). He asked me for a little more information on my purchase, which I sent soon after. The next email I got, only a few minutes later, was to inform me that my FULL refund was on it's way. Not only that, but the guy who emailed me wished me well on my personal situation and told me he was sending good vibes my way! THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SITE FOR CONSUMERS.
Did not like the quality of the clothing I received. Size chart is not accurate. No way to know. The worst part is the return policy. No refunds. Meh. I will pass on this one.

I've had only great experiences with the Groupon's I've purchased and used.
In fact, last week my husband and I purchased a $279 Groupon for a two night stay for four in Hotel Providence in Rhode Island. Unfortunately our friends were not able to join us on the intended weekend so we requested a refund from Groupon. They didn't necessarily have to give us one, we hadn't had a bad experience and we could have possibly used it another weekend, another time, but within ONE HOUR they had refunded our money.
Absolutely amazing.
Groupon has amazing deals, but ocassionally the companies offering the deals don't work out. I purchased a restaurant deal and when I went to use it 2 weeks before the expiration date, the restaurant had gone out of business. I called Groupon, spoke with a customer service representative. After Groupon confirmed that the restaurant was, indeed, out of business, they credited my account. Wonderful customer service and awesome deals!
I bought a Groupon for my wife and the only problem is when I selected gift it made the Groupon for myself. But she took the Groupon to the business and used it with no problems. I think I will try something else if there is something I like.
Used my Groupon coupon at Old Navy yesterday. I had purchased
$20 worth of goods for $10. When I used it at the register, it only gave me a $10 credit. Because it was actually what I had spent, I didn't argue about it, but I'm totally disappointed with my Groupon experience. Never Again.
The estimated delivery date was way off. I was expecting a package to come in two weeks, rather than one week. This would seem like a good thing, except I didn't keep my eye out for it, and my package was left at the post office for about a week and a half. Additionally, the website promises UPS shipping, which is not true. UPS ships it to the post office. In my case they shipped it to a post office about an hour away. (very inconvenient.) I contacted the post office, and they did not even have my package! When I contacted customer service, they just said "sorry", and told me some BS about how they tried to use the postal service to deliver the packages so that it is delivered by "the men and women who know you and deliver your mail everyday". Hello! I live in New York, no one, let alone the mail man give a crap about who I am and what mail I get. Ridiculous. Very disappointing. Unprofessional, and customer service was unhelpful.

I needed to return two items to ideeli. Before I shipped them out, I called ideeli customer service to see whether I can ship them both using one shipping label. The lady who answered the phone said yes, so I did. After a week, I got an email saying that they have received my ITEM (singular). I logged into my ideeli account and also saw that only one item was received by ideeli warehouse.
I used ideeli online chat to talk to a customer service rep who just couldn't seem to understand my point. After 10 minutes of chatting, I had to repeat for the 10th time that I shipped both one single shipping label, and she finally got it. I asked whether she could check the warehouse, she told me she has no access to it.
I decided to call their customer service. No one answered. I called again and left a message. The customer service voice recording said that they'll reply to all messages within the same business day. It's almost 24 hours, still haven't heard back from them.
After I called the customer service, I decided to use the chat again just in case the first rep was not properly trained. I was told by this new rep that multiple returns that used one single shipping label takes more time to process. Really? Why? Shouldn't the warehouse staff scan both items upon receiving them? This just doesn't make sense.
I never thought the return process of ideeli would be such a hassle. I shipped my returns using one single label to save THEM money! In the end, I'm the one who's suffering……….!

Groupon took £300 from my credit card in May the delivery of the furniture has been delayed and delayed and I am having problems getting a refund. Meanwhile they are sat on £300 of many other peoples money - SCAM! Money should not be taken until goods are dispatched.

I LOVE THE IDEA OF GROUPON! I think it's awesome!
I've purchased 4 groupons in total - two turned out to be AWESOME! And 2 not so much, the two that were not so much were with beauty salons!
I got one for 50$ I get highlights cut and moisturizing treatment - savings of 80%... I called the next day to book an appointment, and they said they could only fit me in for an appointment in 4 months on some random tuesday morning! I called as soon as you were allowed to, they sold over 500 groupons granted, but I"m sure that I was one of the first 30 callers!
Can you sell groupons? I don't even want to use this one!
But the two I did get that were awesome (20$ for 50$ worth of Merch@ THE BODY SHOP & 199$ for 12 of us to go Go Karting for 30 minutes) Were second to none deals!
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
