While I have had some success with orders, they are usually very late and they make it very difficult to return. They give you 14 days from shipping date to return, but it takes a week to ten days to get it. By the time you have tried numerous times to find out print out the label they tell you that you can use to return it, yougive up and send it back yourself. But by then you have passed to the 14 day return date. Not worth it.
I've picked up some really good deals from Groupon but I've also found some of the local deals had comparable *FREE* coupons if you searched for them. I've also purchased retail items from the Groupon site, and again, some were really good and others I was able to find on EBay, Amazon, etc for the same price or less. Take the time to google and check reviews. I've noticed a lot of them have really BAD reviews so they are using Groupon, and similar services, to get new business in.

I've had to contact the Groupon Customer s upport two times for issues I've had in the past and to be honest they were very prompt in resolving the issues i've had at hand in a timely manner and been very fair in terms of giving me credit refunds when I've explained my situations. I will definitely keep going back for more. To me, Groupon seems like a company that knows what they are doing it benefits both the business partners that they deal with as well as their faithful customers (such as myself). This site used to be so easy to use. So visually appealing and the quality was REALLY great! Much better than zulilly. Now it site sucks, and so does the quality of the clothes. BEFORE buying anything make sure you can return it! You will be returning it if you like quality clothes!
Stay away from this site please, they will send you an expired product and no money back nothing they would do for you, on a top in that the will treated you like $#*!, they have the worst costumer service ever. I have received an expired product from them and they refuse to refund my money, Agint were so rude I don't recommend this site and never buy from agin...
I ordered something using a promotion code. When they charged me though, I was not given the discount. I contacted them repeatedly asking for a refund. It is just a few dollars but to me it is the principal of the matter. I first got a form answer saying I was given a credit. I responsed saying I wanted a refund and was told that it appeared I used my groupon (yes i did the day after I bought it so the overcharge was not even on my account yet) and it appeared based on that it was fine. I replied saying it made no sense and got a "supervisor" that gave me a form answer. They are not offering real customer service and they are using dishonest business practices. I would urge anyone who has an experience like this with them to file a dispute with your credit card. They don't seem to want to listen to any customers, but they will have to listen to the banks.
I bought a coupon for a service from a local area company and when I went to make an appointment to use the service the web site stated they were no longer honoring Groupon coupons and to notify Groupon for a refund. We called the local company and they said "they were in a legal dispute with Groupon and were not going to use them any more" In Groupons defense this companies reviews have really gone way down this past year and this may be part of the issue. Anyhow we thought oh great it is going to be a problem and we thought Groupon would not help us out. WRONG! Groupon's customer rep Cassie was so helpful and friendly.
She made the process so easy and I had my refund that day on my CC. Will now have no problem using Groupon.
I have used groupon in the past, however recently I was searching through their website on my cell phone. Later I received a statement from my bank that a purchase was made to Groupon. It seemed I placed my phone in my pocket and somehow push the "Buy" button. I immediately contacted Groupo who stated they would not revoke the purchase due to a 2hr window for goods and a final sale with the supplier.
I explained the incident to no avail. Groupon refuse to refund the purchase although they saw the purchase was made on my cell phone and I was willing to show proof from my bank regarding the notification.
BEWARE: The incident of "But Calling" is the norm. It seems purchasing items from Groupon with your buttocks is also possible
I've read the bad reviews for ideeli and I have to say that so far I have nothing but good things to say about them. All of my orders have timely arrived and, further when I returned a pair of shoes, I received a credit with no problem. I used the credit for another purchase. Both my daugther and I enjoy ideeli and have had no problems with the some 5 purchases we have made over the last 5 months.
Groupon canceled Food and Wine Fest in Los Angeles due to COVID 19, and not legal to have gatherings of more then 10 people. Groupon refuses to refund money and gave $198 in Groupon bucks, which is basically good for nothing in these times. If they had a way to purchase Omaha steaks, groceries delivery meals or some other means other then a pancake breakfast available for pick up miles away I could understand them giving a credit. It's shame because when the economy recovers they will have lost a good portion of their business. Forget trying to dispute with the credit card companies because they will not help based on Groupon's policy NOT to refund. Apparently Pandemic has no legal affect on these types of deals. Shame on Groupon, if you are not refunding money then give us a viable way to spend the Groupon bucks!

I recently booked one of the offers for a holiday in thw Cotswolds as advertised on Groupon and the process was easy and quick. I am now looking forward to a weekend break and commend the great offers and value that Groupon offers.
Spent 156$ on tickets I never received they wouldn't refund me or give me credit on something else. I had to repay when I got to the aquarium I had purchased them for. By far the worst. Never had such a bad experience
BUYER BEWARE: This company has the worst customer service ever. Contacted customer service to cancel my order a day after as I found out it would take 7-10 business days for mailing. The item was intended as a birthday gift so it won't serve its purpose if it doesn't get there on time. Customer service REFUSED to cancel my order stating that it was shipped yet the tracking information says otherwise.
This is the second time I encountered a problem. One time, I had items that were lost so I called customer service to complain and asked for a refund. The lady kept insisting that I should check with the neighbors or call UPS. It took a lot of convincing before the lady decided to refund me for the items. Oh, don't expect a prompt shipping. They are ALWAYS DELAYED!
I was given a $50 gift card. They are nor honoring because they said there is another card with it. The giver never got another card with a pin. I lose. No gift card, crappy customer care. I will never use Groupon again. Questionable company.
We are a large family and saving money is very important. We have been getting the best deals here in AZ by using Groupon. We have saved on golf, family recreation, and resturants. I highly recomment this site. So far we have never had any problems and are very happy with using them.
I have orderd numerous items from Groupon. I a couple of things I was not happy with, but was immediately issued a return label and a prompt response from customer services. I literally get 1-2 packages a week from them and have had wonderful luck.
If I could give them a 0 I would. I'm not a member of this bogus site and never have been. All of a sudden $124 is missing from my bank account through PayPal. Customer service at Groupon is delaying asking for information that was given during the initial complaint call. Buyer beware this company isn't all above board.
UPDATE: After days and almost a week of phone calls, and emails from Groupon, closing my paypal and bank account, I finally sent an email to one of the VP of the company and amazing I was found to be telling the truth and the company refunded my money. My original review still stands, the company ROBBED me, but due dilligence did force them to pay the money back in actual money. Please still be cautious when dealing with this company.
I have used Groupon for discounts on local services and have found it to be very good. BUT, buyer beware - groupons for services expire in 180 days. You don't lose the money you paid, you lose the deal. But, the reality is, can you expect a local vendor to hold up a deal for longer than 180 days? I guess not.
My experirence with buying goods has been with buying a refurbished phone. I'm on try #3 because the first one came in and the speaker didn't work. Second one came in and wouldn't accept my SIM card. My biggest gripe with Groupon - it takes 2-3 weeks for the refund, even if I return the item immediately. Groupon's customer service is nothing special and it's impossible to actually speak with someone - the best I could do was a chat and the person was of no help.
I am an avid Amazon.com user because their return policy is AMAZING and their customer service is excellent. If this third phone is not good, I'm done with Groupon - I'll spend the extra $$ and buy from Amazon.
I have purchased multiple groupons from the company. Many have ended up in the Merchant no longer accepting the voucher. After contacting Groupon they only offered a trade in or Groupon bucks as a refund. I got a new service which again did not accept the voucher. I contact Groupon advising all their preferred merchants are unreliable costing me to pay out of pocket for the services. Groupon explained the would not refund my money to my bank account because I used the trade in. I explain I only used the trade in because that was the only option they gave me. They did not assist and had no intention to do so. Horrible customer service from the representatives and the manager Sanath.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
