I purchased an AAMCO Transmission Power Purge back in 2013 for $84. The fine print stated if more then 5 quarts were needed there would be an additional charge. My Prius took 4 quarts but I was charged an additional $61.28 because AAMCO stated the Prius transmission fluid is more expensive. I just change my transmission fluid myself and found the Prius transmission fluid cost $2 per quart more than regular transmission fluid. Total addition cost would have been $8 which is nearly offset by using only 4 of the 5 quarts allowed by the fine print.
I feel like I was taken advantage of and if the cost of the original Groupon would have been $145.28, I would never have purchased it.

Never received order. My card was charged. The live chat is a joke. Check it any day and it will always say it is not open on the day you check. Ex. Check it Monday-Friday, said it is open on Saturday. Check it on Saturday said it is open Monday-Friday. Again check it on Monday, said it is open on Saturday. This site should be shut down.
Do not order from them.
I have used Groupon in the past and had great experiences with them. I even went as far as paying the 5.99 monthly fee and became a member. However recently I had the worst experience with them. My sister and I purchased a deal for a theme park in orlando. On my last day there fell ill and was hospitalized for 2 days. I was 6 months pregnant. I went back home and contacted customer service asking for a credit. They refused to give me a refund which was fine because all I wanted was a created but they refused to give me a credit. Even after the sales manager at the theme park said it was fine. I canceled my membership and will no longer be using Groupon.
If i had read the reviews earlier I never would have used this app. But I did a few days ago and now i see that my order got canceled (After they said it shipped) and they never notified me about the cancellation in any way and it was a birthday gift for somebody, it really screwed me i wouldn't recommend this to anybody.
I have used Groupon for the past five years. This site is the best for sending gifts. They have some of the most unique items I have seen. I have recommended the site to my entire family and all my friends. I love the rule that you never lose the money you paid. GREAT COMPANY!
I have used Groupon many times for local deals and when there are promo codes available to even save more money, it is the BEST!
I have tried many new restaurants, theatres, any many more local deals that I would never have thought of trying at regular price(s).
I have purchased a couple of items on Groupon and they didn't disappoint especially with the great savings!
I would recommend GROUPON as it does save you MONEY!

Got a Groupon email, purchased the Groupon, used the Groupon. All good.
No problems at all and I got a great deal.
Can't see what's not to like for the customer. For the merchant there is much not to like as the cost is astronomical and the customer retention once a coupon is used is virtually nonexistent.
After reading reviews, I was quite hesitant to shop through this site but I decided to give it try anyway. So, I placed my first order yesterday. Everything went smooth from adding the item to the cart to making the final purchase. I even had few questions which were wonderfully taken care of through discussion board as well as privately. My issue was with sizing. I bought a dress in size 40 which according to the size chart was small. Today, I logged on to see any updates to find out the SIZE CHART HAS BEEN UPDATED. Now, size 40 is a Medium instead.
I have emailed and also, posted on discussion board but no one has reached out to me yet. I am hoping someone will reach out to me ASAP so I am not shipped the wrong size because it was definitely not my fault and I definitely do not wish to be stuck with such a large amount of store credit.
I was hoping I would have something great to say but I really don't until this situation is taken care of.

Don't sue Groupon for salon services! They are only good for very limited entertainment functions - you cannot be sure they have verified anything about the business and if you have any issues with fulfillment they refuse to assist, refund or credit. They continue to send stock emails that show they are not even reading your complaint. Groupon does not care - so buyer Beware - only purchase if you are very comfortable that it is a legitimate business and you will be able to get your deal - in fact you should probably make the appointment and check out the business BEFORE ever considering the Groupon - and know that if you have ANY issues Groupon will not help you at all
Bought tickets, for my granddaughter and I, to attend YoGabbaGabba! Live at Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento. It was easy to purchased the tickets, got a great deal and awesome choice of seats. My daughter in law uses Groupon all the time to find restaurant deals, mani/pedi spa deals, and local attraction discounts. It's great!
Groupon product are wrose then any of the shopping side and who is responsible for that. I had a problem with one of their offer that I didn't know it was a trap in name of offer then one of my friend had same kind of problem but I still wanted to try one more but same result even worse so don't waste your valuable time and money here coz you won't benifit from groupon no matter what you want.
My credit card was charged while I live in Virginia and the charge was from North Carolina to a company I'm not aware of. Someone had to have stolen my credit card information to make this purchase. Groupon was very insensitive about refunding my money. You only email and there's no person that you can speak to which I believe is very unprofessional. This is very frustrating because I know my information was taking without my permission but they fail to refund me stating that my time to be refunded has expired. The purchase was done February the 9th 2024 and today is February 13th 2024. It doesn't make sense. Will never purchase from them again.
Signed up for their new Groupon+ Dining Cashback program, made purchases and received confirmation they were recorded, however, the company hasn't paid a dime in cashback. Two weeks now I've gone back and forth with their outsourced scriptreading bots and copy and paste morons and still no resolution. They haven't a clue. They actively prevent customer from contacting actual company reps. There's no phone number to call. Just endless copied and pasted BS. Even BBB and Social Media complaints have gone unresponded to
Groupon's telephone system now blocks ALL calls for customer support. I ordered 18 bottles of wine for a FUNDRAISER for animals... all proceeds go to the care of cats and dogs. My order was not delivered and there is no way to contact Groupon by phone. Groupon CS is SOOO poor. Stay the heck away from Groupon. The public ratings from customers is between 1 to 1.5 stars out of 5... VERY POOR.
I have had overall good success with Groupons, and believed that they vetted their companies. I recently had a garage door service through Groupon that was little more than a scam. I authorized some additional work, and when completed they wanted me to sign several places on a tablet without reading what I was signing. They had added some additional cost and changed the warranty. When I called Groupon customer service, I had to wait so long for the agent to respond that I gave up. Lesson learned: It's up to the consumer to check out the business.
The bed I ordered arrived quickly enough, but has several nicks on the back of the headboard. I was willing to overlook them because they were on the back. The bed was already assembled and when I leaned against the headboard, It started coming apart. Their initial response was for me to disassemble the bed and return it for a refund! There was no way! The bed can be repaired and I wanted a partial refund to pay someone to do it. After a week, I finally got someone to resolve the issue, agreeing to give me a partial refund. BUT I can only use it as a Groupon credit and I also didn't feel that it was enough. I wanted the money refunded to my credit card, not my Groupon account, because I plan on never using them again! Crappy customer service and crappy policies! I deal a lot with another more major online retailer, (a river in S. America) and I know they would have been much more accommodating.
Groupon seems like a great idea and a good way to save money-- in reality it is not worth it. If there is any issue whatsoever, there is NO ONE available to call to help! You have to use the app and instant message or email them. The companies that they use are unreliable and cheap. 2/3 of the only orders I've had on Groupon have been a horrible experience!
Since they write "no refund" in the fine print- they can screw you over! If the company does not follow through with their word, they direct you to Groupon and Groupon directs you back to them. NEVER USING GROUPON AGAIN. I'd rather pay full price and be treated with respect and use a reliable business!
Groupon is amazing! I have ordered quite a bit from them at this point. There were was an event I ordered through Groupon and the company the event was for was impossible to get a old of and Groupon refunded me within 24 hours, no questions. Additionally, there was an item I ordered that was defective and they also refunded me very quick. Groupon is dependable and has excellant deals!
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
