Ideeli has the worst customer service reps.
I wanted to return 2 boots that I bought because they were defected.
So I used the chatting service to see if I can return them and they said yes. The only thing is that, they sent me a UPS lable that said 2 lbs for 2 boots. UPS said that the box weight exceeds the amount on the return label. So I chatted with the customer service rep who was so rude. He or she was like No way our return label should work bla bla bla.
Then they said we will escalate this matter and left the chat.
I was pretty upset. I chatted with another customer rep who did the same thing. I was not getting the help I needed. Basically they didn't want to print out the correct label for me so I can return it.
Worst customer service ever compare to Haute look, gilt and Ruelala.
I orders 2 Clairsonic replacement brushes and they just arrived but they were too small to use with my Clairsonic so I went to their web site and found out that they are not returnable. Silly me, I should have read the fine print on my I Phone before I purchased them but it never crossed my mind that they would sell a product that was so clearly defective and not allow a return. The discount was clearly not worth it to buy something that I just need to throw away. Don't just walk from this website, RUN.
As a merchant, I did Groupon deals a few times. Most of the time, clients are nice. Sometimes they can be rude & vicious.
I am a Massage therapist. I opened my studio in 2014. My first deal was $29 swedish (Groupon takes your regular prices & sells it for 50% off & merchant keeps half of $29). Your first deal they collect 50%. If you sell alot, your new deals after the first deal, you can keep more. You need to negotiate with Groupon. The more services you offer, the more % u keep. It works well for service industry. Doesn't work well for products.
Groupon USA = Horrendous service. BIG PONZI SCHEME! IRS, Better business bureau why aren't you going after this company?
Customer service phone number goes straight to voicemail. They never get back to you unless they lie.
Gives confirmation to the dates and then one week later doesn't recall giving any confirmation. For all the trouble, they only offer 100% refund. What about my cancellation fees for flights Who is going to pay for that?
People and businesses. Don't even bother with this company. The CEO is also a joke. Never answers question. Leave them alone and they'll eventually self implode.
Out of five Groupons purchased, varying from beauty to sports bras I'm only satisfied with the laser hair removal at flawless advanced laser &a skin care clinic in Woodbridge, va. Wonderful technician and super nice environment. The rest were the most horrific to worthless money wasted (over $1000s)
I think Groupon should take on the businesses who do not deliver their goods and promised results for things like laser skin tightening or body contouring. Instead they say we have to fight the business, of course the business doesn't care if the customer is. It satisfied and only refunds a franction of the sum spent with them. I feel that Groupon is liable for passing on goods that are really just bogus.
Groupon is horrible. I have had a terrible experience purchasing both getaways and services. It is total bait and switch all the way... hotels aren't available, deal is only good for new customers, etc. If merchants want to offer deals, they should be straight forward so you know what you are getting... waisted more time trying to resolve and get credits than the savings is worth.
STAY AWAY FROM IDEELI.COM! Ideeli is an unorganized and potentially dishonest business, stay away! Not only did it take a month for my 4 items to arrive, then they were such poor quality and not as shown on the site. I immediately returned all 4 and I've only been credited for 2 of the items! I've followed up on this issue five times over the last month and a half, and still no credit for the other 2 items! They say they are investigating the shipping, however all 4 items were shipped back to them in one package, and they clearly received the package because they have refunded me for 2 of the returned items! Ideeli is completely unorganized and slow and so poor on customer service that I will NEVER use them again and hope you don't either. The horrible customer service is enough reason not to promote such businesses, not to mention the major delay in shipping you items and poor quality of many of their clothing items.

I ordered a wedding band the second week of September. It is now October 21st. And I've made 7 calls and 2 "tickets" and still no item. My item was mailed to IL originally on sept 19th yet I live in NY. The pathetic customer service claims to have escalated my ticket 5x with the promise that someone would call back. I've been hung up on 2x today alone trying to locate my item. This is 100% a scam. Customer service actually asked if I contacted the merchant when the guidelines tell you not to exchange any personal information including email or phone numbers in the ticket. Moral of the story... I paid Groupon for an item and they can't help so now I'm calling my attorney
No warning, no explanation--I just tried to log into my account today and was told that account no longer exists. Along with it went the $100 Groupon credit I'd purchased with MY MONEY and applied to my account. Scumbags! They've not heard the last of me.
Not only can you not talk to a live person anymore, when they email you back, they are terribly rude and basically tell you you're out if luck. They blame not refunding within hrs of purchasing a kayak trip because everyday Calif wouldn't accommodate the groupon. Then everyday Calif blamed it on groupon. What a scam!
They sold me a Groupon for PrinterPix only after PrinterPix demanded I pay shipping a second time did I research PrinterPix and find out they have an F rating by Better Business Bureau.
So Groupon sold me a scam. All Groupon will do is refund my money. They won't make PrinterPix send me the item I paid for and spent at least an hour designing.
Groupons customer service staff keeps ignoring what I tell them and promises a supervisor but they never do. I've had over 8 people deal with this problem and not one has even tried to do anything.
Wished I would have looked at this site before I purchased from Ideeli. The worst customer service I have ever experienced... I am 60! I purchased a jacket which I had confirmation for, but then they removed me from their mailing list so I could not track the purchase. When they finally responded to my e-mail, approximately 1 week from purchase, they said that they thought it was a fraudulent order and closed my account. I think this is a way for them to save face, not that they know what that is, to not sent an item they never had in the first place. Do they outsource all their e-mails and that is why there is a delay in response? DO NOT SHOP ON THIS SITE!

I am very disappointed in the Groupon customer service. It took the Groupon team 4 days to respond to my initial inquiry. This can be looked over. However, it would have been courteous to resend the missing order (that should have arrived 2 weeks prior to my missing order inquiry) via next day or 2-day delivery - instead they sent it to arrive within 2 WEEKS. If I had known that I would be waiting another 2 weeks on top of the already 2 week late order (in total 6 week wait time), I would not have purchased from Groupon. This was the last time I ordered from Groupon.
Total Fraud! I hit the Subtotal button my iPhone on Groupon and they claimed I hit purchase. They charged me@$200 for Seattle hotel that I never used, I called hotel and they couldn't help me, said call Groupon but they have no phone#!

It seems like you would need to be a mathematician to benefit from their deals. I bought 2 coupons for Creamistry, $5 for $10 worth. The first coupon was used to buy 1 scoop of ice cream and a creation cup which cost $13. I paid out of pocket $3. With the second coupon I bought 1 scoop which cost $6. The $4 left over just evaporated. Had I sat down and used my "math" skills and creativity, I would not have to pay anything extra. So if you plan to use these groupons or deal palooza, make sure to do some serious calculation or you will come out feeling like an idiot! I will never use another groupon or deal palooza special as they are such bad business and untrustworthy companies.
I don't know how did I miss looking at the reviews before making any purchases from them! In one word they suck! I have never received anything that I purchased and the customer service reps are as rude as they can be when you call them to ask for help regarding the missed items. SIMPLY STAY AWAY!
Hard to find something good to say about this site. I've been sucked in to harbour cruises and dinners and other activities. I wouldn't recommend purchasing online either as I've had problems with tickets and proof of purchase those kinds of things. Friends and family also stay away from Groupon deals now. Nice photos but the food/sevice/drinks and seatings are always substandard.
Spent over $500 on skybox tickets for cubs game. Due to new scoreboard you couldn't see ANY of the game besides on the TV. They said, too bad. We said there was some obstruction.". So angry! I will NEVER but from groupin again
I had a credit balance with Ideeli from a returned item which no longer shows up when I logged onto my Ideeli account (now Groupon). No notification was provided me from Ideeli (or Gropuon) that my credit balance would not be maintained on my account. How can I get this problem resolved -- through Ideeli or Groupon? Even though it was supposed to be a surprise, I told my husband I had bought these items for him to make sure about the size. He told me I should have ordered size M, not L. I waited until Monday 16th to contact customer rep. The order is still expected to be shipped July 16-18, but I have been told right away that it is too late for a change in size. I hope you can do something more efficient about it. I don't want to deal with the hassle of returning it, but more importantly, I don't want to pay extra $10 for shipping. Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
