HORRIBLE! It is apparent that Groupon does NOT research or review the products they sell and definitely does not stand behind their junky products. I am so upset and will NEVER purchase anything from them again. On top of that, I realized the junky product I purchased for a Christmas present was sold at Amazon.com for a cheaper price, but Amazon will refund in full. Groupon says they are giving you a deal, but they aren't. Don't be fooled like I was and do your research!
Very dissatisfied, I used to go to this place but I don't know what happened. Because I went there once and the establishment was closed in a normal working hours, the other time they didn't have the filter for my car, and the other time they only had one employee and so I couldn't work on my car., but when I called today to see if they had the filter for my car and they said they no longer change the oil. So I'm trying to contact Grupon to ask for a refund and they don't have any number to contact and I tried via chat and no one answers me. Very disappointed.

If I could rate zero stars I would! Traveled to Honolulu for first time ever, and searched Groupon for things to do IN HONOLULU. An ATV tour came up advertised as Honolulu, so purchased for my husband and me. Two days before we would have used it, I realized it was NOT in Honolulu, it was in Kauai, a whole other island we couldn't make it to. Groupon refused to refund, stating the fine print reads all sales final. I told them it was false advertising, but they said there's nothing they could do. There was nothing they were willing to do. I will never, ever use Groupon again, and I will tell everyone I know not to as well! Note in picture attached where under the ATV picture in blue print it says "Honolulu!" Terrible.
I have been scammed by Groupon for $463 and they refuse to acknowledge it, they refuse to credit me to use in their site and they obviously refuse to refund me. Because of their security being compromised I am on the receiving end of a huge loss of money. I am still doing what I can to deal with it but its looking bleak. Their customer service is virtually nonexistent and they refer to "policies" as though they are set in stone and unable to do a thing to help me.
I was reviewing some tickets and i got a phone call and it logged me into my paypal and purchase the tickets i try contacting and finally open a chat with someone and all they told me its final and that it very rude wont use grupon ever again. Opening a case with paypal they dont help you at all.
Used Groupon for first time to book a vacation. Unfortunately, the business, LostTravel, Inc, is a scam. Groupon did refund the money I paid to them, which I appreciated, but the other fees, taxes, etc that I paid to company, have not and probably will not see again. I called Groupon to complain about this company but they seemed disinterested at best. My problem with Groupon is that the company is still offering deals on their site. I have heard of other people who booked travel with this company through Groupon and had similiar problems.
I bought vouchers for skydiving, I drove a while and had to pay a deposit. The place canceled due to technical issues. The place did not refund me all of my deposit. I am not from the area and cannot just go another day. I tried getting in contact with Groupon and no luck. They take forever to write to you because there is no phone number available. After going back and forth for weeks they refused to give me my money back and are giving me credit. I don't want to use their services and it's disappointing. After I use the credit that they will issue me, I will be removing the app and never using it again. Save yourself the headache and if there is businesses that take Groupon, get in contact with them and try to negotiate with them directly
How can one get an issue resolved when you can't get anyone at Gorupon on the phone and several e mails to customer service go unanswered? Never had a problem until this week when they charged my credit card $29 for a Washington DC salon and I can't find it in 'my groupons' to print it out and use?
I have used groupon without issue, so I took a chance and ordered a helicopter from groupon goods. It took forever to arrive, worked two times and them would not recharge. I contacted them and was told if I read the "fine print," I would see that it is only warranteed for 14 days, and they would do nothing. After I said that was unacceptable, I was offered a 10 dollar credit. I spent 35 dollars. How is that fair? If I wanted to invest time, I would see if a 2 week warranty is even legal, but I thought this warning would be a better use of my time.

I purchased concert tickets in March and should have been able to download them within 48 hours, but that never happened. I have been in contact with Groupon via email and calls since that time and have repeatedly found that Groupon has the most horrible customer service. They are of no help and their strong foreign accents makes it difficult to understand them. Its now May and I still havent received my tickets! I've now been told that my tickets wont be available for download until sometime in June! Having to wait 3 months for tickets that I should have been able to download within 48 hours of purchase is totally unacceptable! This is a ripoff and I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from Groupon again.
I've ordered from them twice. Shipping was a little slow but otherwise the clothes were great and the customer service was brilliant. One of my returns was delayed but I still received a credit. I had to contact customer service a couple of times and on both occasions their responses were immediate. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Bought product, Qty 2. Voucher. Went to redeem immediately. The vendor said not available and apologies and said I can have refund. Refund comes from Groupon and they won't refund the money. They want to give a credit. Bottom line is they are selling products and services that are sometimes not available. BUYER BEWARE
I ordered two sky dresses off ideeli in mid-June. They clearly stated on their website that it would ship on July 13-19. It shipped on the 13th and I just received the package. Both dresses are awesome... problem is that I'm probably in between sizes, XS and S but got XS. Otherwise, the price was great and I couldn't be happier!

Bought Michael Todd Face-Lift Cream through a site. Got serious skin irritation but Groupon rejected to refund as it was finial sale. Do not buy any goods here since there is no guarantee product quality at all.
I am no longer a fan of Groupon. Groupon has now sold me, three times, certificates for businesses that have cancelled their contracts with Groupon. In all instances, the contracts had been cancelled for at least 30 days and in the last instance the contract had been cancelled for more than 45 days. Any decent business would have procedures in place to "update" their website for discontinued items so that customers were not inconvenienced by the company's lack of respect for the customer. A decent website manager should be able to insure an updated website accurate within a maximum of 7 days. To be 30-45 days in arrears should result in the termination of the website manager. Furthermore, the Groupon representative that assisted me only wanted to offer me "Groupon Bucks" for Groupons accuracy failure; I had to fight to obtain the issuance of a credit to my credit card. Good-bye Groupon!
Groupon is not my favorite place to shop. Their prices are not the best and their customer service at least their Chat online is alwful. Their shipping is a joke. I even bought groupon.com.ar and they scamed me really bad! And the worst part is you have no way of leaving reviews. Well, I would rather recommend other places to shop.
I understand Groupon's appeal to business: offer one incredible deal (yes, you may lose some money at first), but build on that visit to create a desire for your customer to return. If you give lousy service, they will not return and you did not make money. If you give great service, you have a repeat customer who will make up for the initial cost through repeat business. Groupons are best for restaurants, manicures, etc - services that are repeated. Groupon even has a calculator for businesses to use to see if they will have ROI. I have been able to try out many businesses with Groupon - some good, some poor. The good ones I go back to, the poor ones I am glad I only spent the groupon price. Either way - I'm all good.

This company needs to be reported to the agency that protects consumers. Groupon has acquired Ideel. That's not real startling news, since I've noticed Groupon's customer service is also not the industry standard it used to be.
My verdict: NIX to both companies.
Ideel finally honored my $99.99 credit after I wrote their customer service about how their terrible online reputation was going to cause them to close shop, and their jobs would disappear along with the company. All of a sudden an order that never would complete arrived at my doorstep. They even gave me a ten dollar voucher for my trouble. They can keep it.

Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
