Boy what a scam and racket this place is I can't even began to tell you the crap this place is about but they got me for over 600 and they make me sick they should be shut down completely,

These $#*!s locked up my green dot card account claiming fraud after I tried to order a replacement card through the chat feature on the green dot app… I start a process of trying to get access to my money through e mail, verify documents. I would take a picture of the front and back of my license and send it back to them, all they do is kick it back to me telling me to send another picture … that stupid $#*! started like 3 weeks ago … called multiple times … they just talk you around in circles after 10 days they close the case with no verification, even though they have 2 dozen pictures of my DL … I finally get another"corporate resolution"douch bag… same game and lies. Send pictures…. 2 business days … lie after lie … $#*! them! I went to the app I went to settings, I chose "close account" I had 3 options on how to receive my 800 dollars still in the account. Choose the wal mart pay out, once selected a barcode is generated, take a screenshot of that immediately, save to photos. Run your $#*! to the nearest Walmart and pull up the screenshot, they will scan it at the customer service/financial/returns desk, cost me like 4 dollars to do it this way, but I got my money, deleted the account and the app $#*! these $#*!, three weeks bro, $#*!ing late fees out the $#*!. Don't ever do any business with these pieces of $#*!, I hope this helps someone

I purchased a card to pay my bill and it kept declining so I called the customer service to find to be told that you can only use it in stores so now I'm not going to be able to pay my bill. I'll never use this card ever again so I gave them one star but they do not deserve that one

I bought a card at a Walmart put 225 dollars on it,now I have been trying to activate it for about a day now and it won't activate. It keeps setting up an account with a different card I'm really frustrated, if I could I would give greendot 0 stars. I do not recommend this card to a single person

At the beginning of September, I had fraudulent activity on my card. I contacted Greendot and they immediately shut my card off. I was told what types of supporting documentation to send them, which I did. From here it has gone down hill. I am constantly told that my documents are not satisfactory and such, so I get better documentation and resend. Finally, they approved it and sent my funds to my CLOSED card. That does me no good. Sine this point, I am constantly told that a paper check will be sent. I have received no check at this point. Today, I was told my account has been closed due to lack of proper documentation. I have resent this documentation again today, but it is Saturday and no one will approve my documents until Monday. This is a constant circle

When I purchased my Green Dot card last year it said no fees I loaded it today November the 11th 2023 they took the whole $20 saying I owe $7.95 month on fees on the app and online you can't see your transaction history so I couldn't see the fees or the transaction balance or anything so I called it said I have $4.10 left on the card tried to make a $1.99 purchase it was declined could make a purchase when I finally found the number to get through that's when the lady told me about the fees and said I can use the $4.10 but it's not allowing me to I'm not going to pay unnecessary fee so I'm done with Green Dot.

I deposited $200.00 into this card and I've been trying to access the funds for 3 months! They state the funds were never received from Walmart Store 4554 (Anderson Lane Austin Texas). I have provided all supporting documentation as has the Walmart Store managers and still they state that the case has been closed due to lack of evidence. This card is a scam, DO NOT USE THIS CARD! The founder of this company outsources his customer service and they are unable to help in any way or fashion. Don't get ripped off

I have green dot they steal money from your account they did it 3 times I caught it.also if you are getting a refund you won't get it back they take it and you can have a receipt and everything then they want you to write them a letter get it notarized and everything they wont give me my refund from IHOP I have the canceled receipt ihop said they refunded it on there end. They are thieves they took 64 from me I had to call in and ask where is my money there excuse oh sorry something is wrong with the system if i didn't notice it was gone and didn't call in they would have kept it..

Had to wait for A card 9 weeks never got my money there is no real number to call to speak to anyone i believe they are scammers and need to be closed

Green dot bank allows criminals to open and maintain accounts to steal money and they do nothing about it!. Perfect for the criminals out there, horrible for hard working citizens that get stolen from.

Horrible experience they locked my card for transferring money then wouldn't give me my balance had me late on my bills and the customer service department is none existent first off it's people that don't speak proper English so they don't understand you and you can't understand them it took 6 days for me to get my money they acted like I was supposed to just forget about it no sir not 1496. And 85 cents they crazy as hell don't use them unless you want to give yourself a stroke they will have you so angry about your money unbelievable I do not recommend this for anything except if your looking to be frustrated it's great for that

I wish I had consulted this website before I purchased that green piece of crap. I am forced to use the card just to get my money back (no refund.) Of course, they took their monthly fee of $10 for doing nothing right off the bat. Moreover, customer service talks to you like you're the loser for using their card when you're the reason they have a freaking job. Such bastards... Never again.

I wanted to use the card balance to buy the amount as Amazon Reload. But it didn't work and when I called the agent answered in about 12 minutes. Quickly he said he needed to transfer me to a "senior" person, and then I waited until the entire call time was 52 minutes and hung up. I'm disgusted with myself, and with Walmart, for having anything to do with this rubbish.

Will charge you overdraft fee regardless of bringing account to 0 before 24 hours.
Can't get anyone on the phone. If you do you can not understand and they hang up. They will tie up your money for weeks if you have any issues.

They have horrible customer service when you call up there you get people who do not know how to speak English hardly they don't understand what you're saying you call about a direct deposit and they are saying you need a trace number when the person who sent the direct deposit which is your job did not get a trace number all I got was a confirmation number they get rude with you when you're trying to explain stuff so this is the worst horrible Bank you could ever use

I bought a Walmart money card two years ago and put a 100 dollars on it my husband could remember the log in info so I called customer service the cancelled the card was supposed to send another one never did it's been two years and I still have not received the money after showing all proof from day one now they tell me my time limit ran out, so they took money off card and never paid it back I would never recommend this card I spent months and years on the phone verifying everything they asked for the drug me along until the time ran out and also said they money had been depleted from card yeah it had they took it off! Never ever buy one of those cards your just screwed if any thing goes wrong.

They were very rude live chat told me it wasn't about my situation and they scammed me out of 174.00 activated the card 4 days later my money is nowhere to be found and you can't talk to a live agent the chat people will end conversation then block u and want help you at all. I wouldn't ever use this company if I were anybody. Very rude people.
