I just filled two prescriptions neither of which did my Humana drug coverage cover. Using the GoodRx card the cost went from $218 to $49. The other prescription went from $198 to $40. Both were filled at Walmart Pharmacy.
I have used GoodRx for over a year now & it has saved me a bundle on a very expensive medication which would have cost $500 for a 3 month supply at Rite-Aide with my insurance card (I have a high deductible). With Good Rx it dropped down to $270 for 3 month supply (out of pocket expense) at Rite Aide, & Wallmart was even cheaper at $210 for my 3 month supply. Both pharmacies honor it. CVS tried to give me a hard time with a much cheaper medication for my son, but she was a clerk, not the pharmacist & did not know what she was talking about. I had to speak with her manager. Also, if you sign up for the emails, GoodRx will notify you when the price for your prescription has changed, so you can constantly compare pharmacies. Can't do better than that!
I thought I could save a little money using Good RX over Blink Health. Nope! My coupons were less than 2 hours old when I presented them to pay for my meds. Kroger wanted nearly 26$ more than the price on the coupons. Declined to be ripped off and went home. Checked the Good RX price for Kroger and it still showed the value on my coupons, not the $24 more that Kroger demanded. Tore up the coupons and paid for my meds with Blink instead. Price was higher but closer to what Kroger was demanding. I'm sticking with Blink.
Hmm. One wonders if a competitive company is spamming review boards...
Good RX saves me $160.00 a month on my daughters' AD/HD medication. That is $1,920.00 a year... at no cost to me. That is really all that needs to be said. Type in the name of your medication, and save money. Simple...
Thank you!
Went to Walmart and showed them the goodrx email I'd gotten for my rx for $12, which they noted in my rx record but they were out of stock, so come back tomorrow. I did and they were still out for another day, but they filled half the rx and charged me $20! More than double the price quoted! Pharmacist said they weren't obligated to pay the goodrx price. What?! Other pharmacies were listed but i told my dr the Walmart pharmacy because of the lower price. How are we expected to know which pharmacy is actually going to honor the goodrx price, while we're still in the drs office?! So now i have to deal with the hassle of somehow switching half of a rx to another pharmacy that will hopefully actually honor the price. But it's a crap shoot.
The price you see online is the price you should expect to pay Keith. Please give us a call so we may investigate this further; we'd be happy to speak with the pharmacy on your behalf! We can be reached at 888-799-2553. Monday through Sunday from 6am to 9pm CT.
GoodRx is a lifesaver and should be shared with everyone who needs help paying for medications they need, but cannot afford. I am on long term disabilaty and do not qualify for any state aid. I pay high insurance premiums that I can barely afford with all my Dr. visits etc. I have to pay out of pocket for medications and when my Dr. told me about GoodRx I thought it was too good to be true. I researched it a little. I printed out 2 coupons/savings cards and went to Walmart and saved about $500.00 for my 2 meds. I am currently on about 6, so this is a godsend. At first there was some confusion at the register... they first said the total was $96.00, but after running it through again the total was $20.00. I will continue to use GoodRx for my other meds, with hopes all goes well. GoodRx is my lifesaver.
About 2 years ago, one of my prescriptions went from $4 to $52 dollars. I wasn't very happy with that so I started looking at the internet for something better and found Goodrx. Thought, well it may be a scam but tried it anyway. Goodrx said the cost that $52 prescription would cost just over $5 at another pharmacy. I went to that pharmacy and lo and behold, the price
For the very same prescription was $5 and some change, just what the Goodrx coupon said it would be. Since then, I've started using Goodrx on about half of my meds. It works for me!
Very useful site and I have tried it a couple times now and they have saved me quite a bit of money. The only drawback was that the first time I used the site the pharmacist seemed very confused by the coupon and it took awhile before he was able to give me the discount. Not the sites fault though and the next time I tried a coupon it worked..
I had no problem using it. I needed refills for 3 prescriptions at Kroger. My current insurance does not have prescription coverage. I searched each prescription on GoodRx, printed my coupons and went to Kroger. No problem with Kroger, they said GoodRx is great. I saved a bunch of money.
Thanks!
Worked for my Rx at the CVS in Henderson, NV (Whitney Ranch). The pharmacy tech warned me that the discount may not be as high as stated on the coupon, but it was. Had it not been, it still would have helped. I saved about 31% on my Rx. Thanks!
Happy we helped!
I had been paying $33 for 9 pills of headache medication (one month's supply) at my local pharmacy. When I checked GoodRx--my first time using the site--I saw that I could fill the Rx at the same pharmacy for $12! I would call that a win, wouldn't you? I understand that not all of my medications will cost less with GoodRx but from now on I plan to check out each one before filling. Thank you, Good Rx!
Thanks!
I checked out the pricing of several meds I use daily. For example the metformin was 10.00 at good rx, its free at Publix (grocery store) pharmacy and 2.00 at the local pharmacy. The other meds I checked were similarly priced higher. Another example was Victoria, goodrx was over 800.00, I pay 80.00 through mail order.
So I wont be using goodrx ever!
HI Rich - We list the Publix price you mentioned above; not sure how you missed it as it's clearly indicated. We don't show local pharmacies, that's true, because we adhere to specific safety and licensing standards. So... appreciate your review, but we actually have most of the information you discovered... next time, reach out to us before you say negative things?
I was paying about $100 for one of my prescriptions at Walmart pharmacy(more expensive at other pharmacies!)an employee at Walmart pharmacy suggested Good RX to me. I had never heard of it! I checked it out and could hardly believe the lower prices on the meds I take! The one that cost me about $100.00 without Good Rx went down to 31.00 with Good RX! That price is even lower than what I pay for it with insurance! Thank you Good RX!
I have tried using prescription savings cards that didn't save me more than a couple of dollars, GOODRX actually saves me money! I just left the pharmacy saving $74.78 on a narcotic. When the price is looked up on the website I suggest calling the pharmacy and ask the cash price, then ask if they honor GOODRX for narcotic (if it is a controlled drug) some pharmacies don't honor because of this fact. The tech state that the price I'm quoted online bring that in and they will pit that in. After I educated myself on how Goodrx is able to pass the savings down to the consumer, I'm grateful to this genius idea! Highly recommend
Showed the guy at counter coupon, he did a lot of typing (twice) said couplon was not any good. Coupon showed price of $10.25, they priced over $30. I will try at a Harris Teeter. If that works the one star will be just for Walgreens.
Update: I was able to use the application at Harris Teeter in Pinehurst/Taylor Town NC. Of course they use a generic which was fine with me. Changing review to four stars
Hi JM-- We’re very sorry if you experienced trouble using our coupons at the pharmacy. Our prices are generally very accurate and pharmacies are contractually obligated to accept our discounts under most circumstances. Our Advocacy Team would love to look into this for you! Please contact us at 888-799-2553 and we’ll investigate immediately.
I'm on one medicine (only) and have paid a $36 copay for a 90 day supply for the last 4 years. I was told two days ago that my new insurance didn't cover that medicine and it would now cost $67. I started an appeal. Meanwhile I found good Rx and went back to the same pharmacy. Using my good Rx card I paid $19 for the prescription 2 days later. That's less than I've paid in 4 years! I'm a believer. I'll never use my insurance for Rx again without first checking the good Rx price. Love it!
Thanks!
Goodrx is PERFECT for Suboxone or Subutex! I just to see a doctor who wrote me Subutex, yet my new one only writes Suboxone... Just wow. Wow. With Goodrx the generic Suboxone tablets are $4/$5 a tablet... Cheaper than Blink and way cheaper than any manufacturers coupon or any other Discount Card!
The same first coupon I used at Walgreens for 10 tablets for $45 works over and over and is stored on their system and matches the Goodrx price every time.
Just got 5 filled...
$24.73. Just as app said.
Love it!
My husband's prescription was costing us $156.25 for a 30 day supply with insurance since he has not met his deductible as yet. We started researching and found GoodRx. We called them and they searched for pharmacies close to us that may offer discounts. Since we live in a rural area, the pharmacy closest to us was a local pharmacy. GoodRx gave us a code and I called the pharmacy to see if they would accept the coupon from GoodRx and they did! The cost using GoodRx was $28.76! Holy Crap! This actually works! I will definitely be using GoodRx for future prescriptions!

I have an ear infection so I requested an antibiotic. I received a message telling me that they cannot help me. On the website, it clearly states that they will not charge you unless they're able to help you. I was charged immediately and not provide her with a refund. I am going to have to dispute it with my bank. I do not recommend using this company!
We’re really sorry to hear that your GoodRx Care experience was not the best, Elisabeth. Sometimes our providers feel the best care you can receive is from an in-person provider. We do offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and would be happy to refund your visit fee. Please send us a message through our message center and we'll be more than happy to help.
Because Olmesartan is considered "non-preferred" by my mom's insurance, she was paying $300 for a 90-day supply. With the GoodRx coupon, she only paid $26.40 for the first fill and $25.49 for the latest. I printed and presented the coupon in person for the first fill, and she just read the info over the phone for the refill. She also used a separate coupon to save $40 (almost 50%) on another.
It only took two minutes on the GoodRx site to get these savings of $588 dollars!
Yay. Happy we could help.
Answer: Yes we do. Just present coupon to save. Have a nice day
Answer: If you have any questions, we're here to help - please email help@goodrx.com and we'll get back quickly. Pharmacists have the discretion to honor or refuse controlled substance coupons, but most of them (like 99%) will take them, which is why we list them (and indicate that they may not be accepted). Hope that helps.
Answer: Hi Terry! You will need to present the coupon to the pharmacist, usually before, they fill a prescription. If you doctor's office is willing to do so for you then it may be okay, but we would suggest you present a new coupon each time you fill or refill. Sometimes our prices fluctuate and checking the coupons may get you a deeper discount. If you, or your doctor, presented a coupon and the pharmacist, for whatever reason, says the coupon cannot be used please give us a call at 1-888-799-2553, our Advocacy Team would love to assist you! Our hours are Monday-Sunday, between the hours of 8AM and 7PM CT.
Answer: Hi there - can we help you? Head to our help section for information on how we do business.
Answer: It takes very little time. Immediately after sign up you'll receive the information you need to purchase at our discounted rates.
Answer: Hi Shirley! We list coupons for Phentermine here: https://www.goodrx.com/phentermine Please be sure to update the script details and zip code to see prices for your area.
Answer: Please give our GoodRx support team a call at 888-799-2553, so they can contact the pharmacy regarding the price discrepancy, Steve. They're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: GoodRx can be used in place of Medicaid as long as the two aren't combined. Please give us a call at 888-799-2553, so we can contact the pharmacy on your behalf. We're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: Great question, Don! Since GoodRx compares prices at different pharmacies, there are sometimes lower prices with a GoodRx coupon. If you have a GoodRx Gold account, you are still able to use a GoodRx coupon if you find that it offers a better price for your prescription at a pharmacy in your area.
Answer: Hello there Anita, we're sorry for your frustrating experience at Walgreens. Please give us a call so we may investigate this and reach out to the pharmacy on your behalf. We can be reached at 888-799-2553, Monday through Sunday from 8am to 7pm CT.
