My veterinarian wanted me to pay $111 for 120 pills of my dogs seizure medication, I asked them to call in a script to CVS Pharmacy instead & used the GoodRX app & got it for $23 for 180 pills! Thankful this worked!
Between my hubby & I we have 18 scripts a month, GoodRx Gold has been a life saver
Our pharmacy was happy to use it for us we use CVS. Thank you for our saving we lose health insurance do to this pandemic
Jan 13 went to Wal-Mart Brazil, IN to get Terazosin 10mg. 30count. Good RX price 4.00 Wal-Mart 16.75! I left went to Kroger transfered prescription where Good RX. Price was 5.65 Kroger price 17.50. So after driving wasting my time trying to get Good RX discounts I left without my prescription. I then called Good RX *******341. Of course I'm put on hold for over 15 mins, I gave up any hope of getting help. This is second time I have tried GOOD RX with prices not even close. Of course GOOD RX is never wrong and the customer should've done something else like hold on to the phone for God knows how long to talk with customer service. What a joke!
Went to my local CVS to use the coupon which referred to me by my doctor. The pharmacy went to apply and it came back as $1500. 00! Online it said the price with coupon for that medicine would be 32.75. Couldn't believe it. The pharmacy couldn't tell me why it didnt work.
HI Jesenia - our prices are quite accurate, so we'd like to figure out what went wrong. Please email help@goodrx.com so we can make this right for you.
Have been using GoodRx for about a year now. At first, there didn't seem to be any problem with the prices quoted with the online coupon and the drug store prices. However, recently I have run into a problem with pharmacies honoring the prices quoted and what they actually charge for the prescription. Example: Nitroglycerin tablets at Kroger should have been $13,58 as per online coupon. But, when filled, Kroger wanted to charge me $44 saying a disclaimer on the coupon states prices were only suggestions. It was at their discretion to honor the coupon or not. So, I took my prescription to Walgreen and although I ran into the same issue (coupon was for $15 and changed, Walgreen charged $21) with the Pharmacist complaining that GoodRx was not reimbursing them to make up the difference in pricing. Not sure if this will continue, but either way, make sure you check with the pharmacy on pricing when using GoodRx coupons so you are not caught off guard when picking up your prescription.
We can help. Please email help@goodrx.com. The pharmacist was confused - we don't reimburse pharmacies anything.
I waisted my time for 2 hours, could not see where i could do it, easy cancell anytime, yes right.!
Finally i had to call to cancel, the woman who helped me asked me all kind of questions
I just want to cancel. Omg!, she just on and on.
I guess sign up is easy, cancel is imposible.
Hello Kim! We sincerely apologize for the trouble that you have experienced trying to cancel your GoodRx Gold account. We will be sure to address the issue with cancelling. Please let us know if we can help you with anything else.
My husband and I printed out GoodRx coupons for shingrix vaccine and went to Walmart. They refused to honor the price and showed us on the computer that it was GoodRX that said the coupons were no good for That vaccine. Go figure that one out.
When I fell in the old folks donut hole I started looking around for alternatives and cheaper prices for my Advair Rx. The retail price for this drug is about $1200 a month. I found AirDuo generic at Walgreens for $100 a month and my lung doc wrote me a prescription for it. The GoodRx coupon worked for me for $50 a month at Walgreens. Not only did GoodRx save me 50% but also pointed me to Walgreens because they have the best prices for AirDuo. GoodRx pointed me to Kroger for another one of my meds where Kroger was substantially lower than any other place. It just works - easy. No more donut holes for me!
I have never used GoodRx before & was excited to save over $60/ month when I found a prescription at Safeway advertised for $34 (I've been ordering from Canada). I didn't call before I went (and don't shop at Safeway normally)but the pharmacist said their price was over $200 so she couldn't sell it to me for the GoodRx advertised price they'd lose money. When I called GoodRx I was told the prices shown were only estimates & do not have to be honored by the pharmacy & to call around to see if I could find a place to honor the estimated price GoodRx shows. I feel this is false advertising - if you don't know for sure that a pharmacy will sell meds at that price - don't advertise it, very misleading. Also, like I have nothing better to do than call all over town. I have not called around yet but when I get time I may try - still very irritating!
Hi there - our prices are accurate, and if you are being told otherwise that's incorrect. Please email help@goodrx.com so we can assist and make you happy asap.
You only can get the lowest price if you pay a $36 annual fee to Good Rx, which isn't extremely high, but dont say "no membership required and that it's totally free, when it's not.
Hey Karan! I believe you are viewing the KrogerRx Savings Club prices! You can view the free GoodRx discounts by going to www.goodrx.com. If you have any questions on how to navigate the site, feel free to give us a call at 888-799-2553.
This is nothing more than a scam since they offer it to people who receive Iowa Medic-Aid and pay only $1.05 per prescription. Even their top discount of 80% can't match $1.05.
Just tried to use your coupon at Publix in Ft Myers Florida, and they told me they don't honor them. Instead of the price being about $7.00 it was to be around $40.00.
CVS ******* S. Memorial Tulsa, OK. Refused my GoodRx coupon. When I asked her why, she said "we actually lose money so if the coupon is not already on your profile we can't add it!"
Sorry for your issues - sounds like a confused pharmacist. Coupons can always be added to a patient's record; that's simply incorrect. Please email us at help@goodrx.com if you have issues and we can help resolve.
I am a veterinarian and recommend GoodRx for our clients, especially on long term medications. Have not had any bad reports from clients except for Wal-Mart, and I've used it, too, at Walgreen's. I HAVE heard though that Wal-Mart is not accepting GoodRx coupons for pets. I can't verify this, but generally discourage owners from Wal-Mart for that reason. Perhaps GoodRx can elaborate?
Thanks!
I NEVER get the price quoted on my GoodRx app at my local CVS pharmacy. I'm a cancer patient and my funds are very limited with having to survive off of one income! So yes from $200 to $40 is AMAZING but when it's quoted to be less than $15 and then you go to pick up your needed medicine it's a bit harder on an already almost empty pocket
We'd be happy to contact CVS pharmacy on your behalf, Stephanie! Please give us a call at 888-799-2553.
I came here to leave a good review for goodrx. Not bc my coupon worked. But because of how friendly and helpful their customer service was to me when i called for their help in trying to. And Honestly I am a bit confused by some of the bad reviews here?... I mean people do realize their services are FREE right? So if your price changes from 15 bucks to 20 and the self pay cost is still well over what you're paying. Then whats the problem? You're STILL saving a ton of money! And no harm if it doesn't bc its a FREE service! Americans today really do have this false sense of entitlement! And heck at least you're not paying them to tell to pay some ridiculous amount of money for your prescription like we all do from our lousy health insurance provider! Honestly I dont think the ones here complaining about their cost going up have ever really known what its like to chose between a 600 per month medication that could save your life or putting food on the table! Or they would not be complaining about such petty things like a long wait in line at the pharmacy or a 10 dollar mark up on a drug they are STILL saving a ton of money on! Either use their FREE service or dont! Its that simple! And be grateful that companies like this even exist!
Thanks for the kind words. Appreciate it.
Do NOT use this app. It is nothing but a SCAM to get you into a pharmacy so they can give you some lame excuse why the price for an epipen (for example - just one of five attempts at using this scam app) at Walgreens is NOT $126.38 as advertised but actually over $358.00 to $663.00 at CVS and not 142.75. (think i am kidding, try zip code ******* and see. But rest assured when you get to the bottom of the list where the price is right there at retail everywhere on the planet. Bingo! NOW ITS AVAILABLE AND ACCURATELY PRICED. And ALWAYS in stock.
Hi Mike - sounds like you had an issue - we’d love to help - please email help@goodrx.com?
I changed pharmacy for the cheaper price now come to find out that it will cost me more because their coupons are crap and so are their customer service
Our prices are contractually set with pharmacies. Please email help@goodrx.com for assistance. If you've had a bad experience, we'd like to make it right.
Last month paid $55.00 for prescription, went back to CVS to refill and price now is 164.00 and some change. What, that only allow one time use per card.
Prices vary. However, we can help. help@goodrx.com
I was using Goodrx because i have a dog with a authoimmune disease and her medication are very expensive, along with vet visit. Goodrx was a life saver. Without Goodrx i could pay anywhere from $30 to $600 dollars. We love our pets, the medication helps her function almost like a normal dog. I went about a month ago to pick up her prescriptions, at this time i was told by the pharmacy Goodrx will no longer help unless the vet has an NPI number ( national provider identifer). With everything going on with Covid 19 now & people out of work, tell me what i should do. I love my Dogs, I take care of my dogs, but i dont know if ill be able to afford her meds. Its hard enough trying to pay bill and food as it is. I dont want to have to put her to sleep, shes a good girl and its not her time. She is only 7. Can anyone tell me where to go from here.
Hi, Kimberly. We’re very sorry that you experienced trouble using our coupons at the pharmacy for your pup. Answer: Yes we do. Just present coupon to save. Have a nice day
Answer: If you have any questions, we're here to help - please email help@goodrx.com and we'll get back quickly. Pharmacists have the discretion to honor or refuse controlled substance coupons, but most of them (like 99%) will take them, which is why we list them (and indicate that they may not be accepted). Hope that helps.
Answer: Hi Terry! You will need to present the coupon to the pharmacist, usually before, they fill a prescription. If you doctor's office is willing to do so for you then it may be okay, but we would suggest you present a new coupon each time you fill or refill. Sometimes our prices fluctuate and checking the coupons may get you a deeper discount. If you, or your doctor, presented a coupon and the pharmacist, for whatever reason, says the coupon cannot be used please give us a call at 1-888-799-2553, our Advocacy Team would love to assist you! Our hours are Monday-Sunday, between the hours of 8AM and 7PM CT.
Answer: Hi there - can we help you? Head to our help section for information on how we do business.
Answer: It takes very little time. Immediately after sign up you'll receive the information you need to purchase at our discounted rates.
Answer: Hi Shirley! We list coupons for Phentermine here: https://www.goodrx.com/phentermine Please be sure to update the script details and zip code to see prices for your area.
Answer: Please give our GoodRx support team a call at 888-799-2553, so they can contact the pharmacy regarding the price discrepancy, Steve. They're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: GoodRx can be used in place of Medicaid as long as the two aren't combined. Please give us a call at 888-799-2553, so we can contact the pharmacy on your behalf. We're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: Great question, Don! Since GoodRx compares prices at different pharmacies, there are sometimes lower prices with a GoodRx coupon. If you have a GoodRx Gold account, you are still able to use a GoodRx coupon if you find that it offers a better price for your prescription at a pharmacy in your area.
Answer: Hello there Anita, we're sorry for your frustrating experience at Walgreens. Please give us a call so we may investigate this and reach out to the pharmacy on your behalf. We can be reached at 888-799-2553, Monday through Sunday from 8am to 7pm CT.
