Save me 40 dollars. My pharmacy told me cash price was 60. I brought in the coupon. I ended up paying 19 and some change. You just have to try. Each pharmacy is different. Thanks so much to good rx

Saved over half off!
November 7, 2015

I was prescribed a medication that needed prior authorization from my insurance company before I could fill it. Instead of waiting a week or two for the process to finish, I decided to pay for the script out of pocket - the GENERIC was even $175! I looked online for coupons, downloaded the GoodRx app, typed in my prescription and it showed me that the Walgreens near my house had it on sale for $75! (only applicable without insurance). I brought my phone with me and showed the pharmacist, and they typed in the code, and gave it to me for $75 no questions asked - I was out of there within 10 minutes! Can't believe I saved so much THANK YOU GOODRX!

Poor assessment
April 16, 2022

Their app is horrible. It has a tone of problems if you just trying to become a Gold Member. Then after spending hours trying to register, I finally get a hold of nurse to refill my meds.

I told Ms. Chelcie Kaluzny the Nurse Practitioner who was handling my refill, that my doctor meant to put me on 3x pills a day but she sent to the pharmacy 1x a day. I asked her if it's possible to adjust my prescription. Instead of saying no, we can only give you 1x a day, she cancels all my refill, so now I have no meds at all which is even worst.

She clearly didn't want to work or help. She did a poor assessment of the situation and did the worst thing she could of done, me with no meds at all.

BEWARE
July 1, 2022

This company is more interested in charging your credit card for $49.00 than trying to assist customers.
GOODRX charges your credit card, even if you are unable to complete the questionnaire and are NEVER given the opportunity to speak with a doctor.
TOTALLY UNETHICAL in my opinion

Walmart honors coupons
December 29, 2017

Have used coupons at Walmart many times but this last time was awesome. My prescription of Valsartan 80 mg for 90 days was quoted at $328. I found a coupon online for 90 days 80mg of Valsartan for $113. Took it in to Walmaet pharmacy and they honored the coupon. A savings of almost $200.00.

They list pharmacies who do NOT exist.
They list med. S & price for pharmacies who NEVER CARRY IT.
Nearly everyone DENIES the fake coupons.
Prices never right.
SPIES and RECORDS confidential med. S, endangering from home break-ins.

Utterly useless and worse FALSE INFORMATION.
Heck, Walgreens gave a deeper discount by using a generic code (refused Good Rx)

More than 3 million people use GoodRx to save on their prescriptions every month. In our experience, SiteJabber attracts the very, very few people who like to write negative reviews and, more importantly, these reviewers never respond when we attempt to help them resolve their issues (which we can!). So... we don't respond to comments here any more.

Please email info@goodrx.com if you'd like help. Thanks.

WooHoo!
August 12, 2015

I used my coupon at Walmart for two prescriptions that would have cost $185.00. I saved about $100.00 and paid $82.00. The tech did not blink an eye when I gave him my coupon. It worked like dream.

I use Good RX every month for several meds including pain medication. My Walmart requires that I have a new, current discount each time I fill. I always text it to myself and then show them my phone. This month I checked pricing and while Walmart and Sam's Club displayed a price, it was grayed out and the price shown was equal to the normal Walmart cash price. Does this mean Walmart and Sam's Club no longer participate in Good RX? Is this only on CII drugs or is it all drugs?

A great tool
December 18, 2017

A great tool to price shop other options over your co-pay rate. I have found a few of prescriptions prescribed to be less then insurance. It is not always lower but a smart way to save money.

Purchased 60 tetracycline pills at CVS for $10.39 using GoodRX coupon. Better than paying $663.00 for 120 of the same pill without coupon. Hard to believe!

The reviewer who called this a scam is way off. If the pharmacist had trouble with the coupon, I suspect he/she did not use it for whatever reason, and charged full cost. It would have been nice if the reviewer had identified the store.

We have used goodrx coupons at Target, Walgreens, Kroger, and WalMart, and have gotten the prices shown on the site. We have several elderly cats, and have saved hundreds of dollars on their prescriptions. Yes, you can use these prescriptions for pet medications! Our vet now tells all of her pet owners about the site (no insurance for pet prescriptions!).

Another hint: if you are on Medicare, by law (thank you, Democrats) you can not be offered any incentive, like coupon discounts for co-pays or even Target's 5% off rewards program. We have found many prescriptions are the same cost or cheaper without Medicare (often not even needing the Goodrx coupon). We instruct the pharmacist NOT to use Medicare when processing the prescription, and get the discounts. Using Medicare is not required.

I went to my local CVS to fill my alprazolam (Xanax) and it was almost $70 dollars, but with the goodrx coupon, it should have come out to $33.47. Walgreen's no longer takes GoodRX for my amphetamine salt (generic) or Xanax. CVS wanted me to pay $175 for my Adderall, but with your free coupon it states "$140.57".

I had no problems in the past with GoodRX, must be new pharmacy rules

I have never had to use Good RX but I am checking this out. I see people who have used this and everything has gone well for months/yrs. Then the minute something goes wrong it is all negative. Nothing in this world always goes perfect. I see so many good reviews from all of your customers. People do not realize when negative things happen it all has to do with insurance/pharmacy/store and their rules and regulations also. RX does not own the patent on this. It is like a medication that can save your life coming out. It is tried for up to 5 yrs on people with as many side effects as possible stated not only during advertising but on brochures given out. People have them in black and white what can or may happen but will grab at this drug as a lifeline. The minute something happens and someone starts suing someone over a side effect many jump on board. It makes no difference that it has stated the possible side effects. You took it upon yourself do talk with your Doctor and decide to use this knowing what maybe could happen. As a Nurse I see this all the time... I am sure many people are very thankful you exist. I see many who have had good experience. Many need all the help they can get!...

I have used GoodRx at Walmart, Tom Thumb and Albertson's Stores with excellent savings. I have found that you MUST ask the Pharmacist to let you know if the cash price is cheaper than if you use your insurance plan. They may not be able to let you know of a lower price, if you do not ask. I have found on multiple occasions the CASH price (with a coupon) is less than my copay. As noted below, some people have called first and confirmed the Pharmacy accepts GoodRx, with good results.

Terrible
April 13, 2022

The first time I used my GoodRX card at Rite Aid it lowered my $68 script to roughly $30. Of course I was happy to save the money & figured over time the savings would continue to add up. I was wrong. Every month since when getting my script filled, it actually INCREASED my co-pay to around $350! The pharmacist explained that they see this all the time with the GoodRX card. She continued to explain how their prices change constantly & running it through my insurance was the best bet. I find it frustrating when I see their commercials knowing how it's false advertising at its best. I'm so glad I didn't buy into their monthly subscription. My suggestion is to give it a try & see for yourself. It's clear to see after my experience & especially after reading all the terrible reviews left by other unsatisfied customers, I'm clearly not alone.

And please do not bother responding to my review with your BS. I do not want to hear how you're sorry. And I'm definitely not reaching out to your customer service department. I refuse to cause myself more irritation.

Hi Amanda! We're sorry for hearing about your experience with GoodRx. Because prices are tied to actual cash prices, they can fluctuate from time to time. If your insurance offers a better price, we absolutely recommend using whichever is going to save you the most! Please let us know if we can help you with anything else.

Coupon states that "your estimated price at pharmacy will be $84.16", I called and my price with the coupon is $389! What a waste of time for someone who doesn't have the income for their meds.

Hi there - pharmacies sometimes do not like to run coupons over the phone, but you will get that price at the pharmacy. We work closely with every major US pharmacy and we'd love to help make this right - and we almost always can. Will you contact us at help@goodrx.com?
