I have my receipt. Walmart's "regular" price is lower than your reported "regular price for Walmart" and even lower than your "discount price for walmart" and I didn't have to do anything to get that cash price.
Walmart cash price as well as several local pharmacies cash prices were less than GOODRX coupon "discount" price shown for that store. Actually, the "discount" price shown at GOODRX is the full name brand price quoted by the manufacturer and the "normal" price shown on GOODRX is far more than that quoted by the manufacturer for name brand. Not sure what all the hype is about..
I recently had to purchase some medications for my dad that weren't covered by his insurance and by using goodrx, it saved me a lot of my money. I just don't understand why the prices at cvs pharmacy are way higher than at the cvs pharmacy in target. They are both cvs pharmacies but the target cvs is much, much cheaper. One of my dad's medications was $218 at cvs, but it was $83 at the target cvs pharmacy. That doesn't make sense. They are both cvs pharmacies. But goodrx did work and it saved me a lot money.
My experience with GoodRx has been very positive. By my using GoodRx i estimate the cost of the prescriptions I have filled with it cost me half the amount it would have if I had not.
I highly recommend the service they provide.
Hello Deb! We are so happy that we can help you save on your prescriptions! If you ever have any questions, feel free to give us a call at 888-799-2553!
Recently I stumbled across Good Rx while searching for a holistic approach to treat a UTI I presumed I had. I become a Gold member and a practitioner walked me through the process and directed me to pick up a over the counter test at my local pharmacy which I had no idea there was such an over the counter test and the practitioner continued to assist me accordingly throughout the whole process. I had my Rx within a few hours and now my husband has signed up as a member as well. Giving us both peace of mind having such medical assistance at our fingertips being neither one of us has medical coverage.
We're glad you stumbled upon us, Elaine! Our providers on our Care team are amazing and always ready to help. Thanks for sharing your feedback and hope you're feeling better!
Who actually pays for this? How do y'all get your prices? What do you do with the information sent to your database? Is it sold? Are you selling patient's private information? Exactly how do you get money from this "Help a neighbor out?" By selling HIPPA information that pharmacies transmit to your computer. Nothing is free! You get something from this! Commercials aren't free.
Hi Lisa! GoodRx takes our users’ privacy very seriously. We strive to go above and beyond both legal requirements and consumer expectations when it comes to protecting consumer data. I had a prescription that had a $35 copay through my insurance. I printed out a GoodRx Coupon with an estimated price of $12.71 and took it to a Safeway Pharmacy. They accepted it with no questions, charging me $12.72.
Hi Steve! We are so happy that we can help you save on your prescriptions. If you have any questions in the future, please give us a call at 888-799-2553.
I used GoodRx for a year at Walmart and the price on the coupon was always honored. When I had to renew the prescription I switched to CVS. The prescription cost me more than double than the coupon price. The CVS clerk said they called Good Rx and that was correct. I called Good Rx the following day. They promised to follow up and get back to me. They never did. Next I sent an email with all the details. They never responded. I have lost a lot of faith in their service and am no longer recommending them to people. Be sure to ask what your prescription in going to cost before you pick it up from the pharmacy. Good Rx has very poor customer service!
Sorry for your issues. However, we respond to every email - almost always within 1 business day. Can you email help@goodrx.com so we can resolve to your satisfaction?
I had been using GoodRx until my Dr changed my medication. Even with GoodRx it was $400. So I switched to GoldRx and it went down to $130 if I use a certain pharmacy. I think the plan is around $6 so it's worth it. I have several prescriptions that my insurance refuses to cover. With GoldRx I save close to a thousand dollars a month so it's more than worth it to me.
I just used Good Rx for the first time. I was prescribed a medication that is not on my drug formulary. Originally, Walgreen's told me it would be $94 for a 10-day supply. I found the Good Rx coupon and I got the meds for $31 - no hassle, and what a savings
GoodRx gave me incorrect prices this month on two medications. One was $30 more at CVS and the other was $14 more at Walmart, than what GoodRx said. When I called GoodRx, they said the coupon prices are based on national averages (even though you enter your zip code.) It did not work accurately in California nor Arizona. Also, the prices on GoodRx have been higher on many others than the CVS prices without insurance.
Hi AJ, we're sorry about the price discrepancies for your medications. We use data from pharmacies to estimate, based on your location, what your discounted price should be. On occasion, pharmacies might carry a higher priced manufacturer, but in the vast majority of the cases, our prices are correct. We update the price information when the data becomes available to try to keep prices as accurate as possible.
According to Goodrx, my entresto should only have a copay of very small amount each month (their most recent check was in 2020) have AARP advantage and now past donut hole and copay over $100. But you can't question them about this or report as they give a run around that their prices are accurate mostly. The key word here is "mostly"... thus the one star rating
Hi there, Billy! GoodRx prices are based on pharmacy cash prices which change daily. We know Entresto is quite an expensive drug and that people on Medicare plans are unable to use manufacture coupons and a majority of savings programs. We hope that something in the article we have linked below will be able to provide you with some assistance and savings that you are looking for.

Since I do not have prescription coverage, called CVS for Flomax (generic) and they wanted $99+. Then called Wal Mart and they wanted $67+. Went on the Internet and got GoodRx's coupon. I was skeptical about the coupon after reading some of the negative comments, but I figured "What the hell. Why not. All they can say is, "No." Still, the Wal Mart price was $32 less than CVS. I presented the coupon to the clerk, he entered it into the computer and told me the price went from $65.89 to $20.73! That's $78 less than CVS and $45 less, with the coupon, at Wal Mart. So "Thank you, GoodRx and Thank you, Wal Mart."
Everything I went to use it for! Oh sorry we don't cover that! You have to pay the cash price. Oh yes we have that but we can't cover that you have to pay the cash prices. Both CVS and Smiths same thing save your money it's a BIG COME ON, we'll save you money on aspirin lol I called and demanding my money be returned! I would rate a minus if I could that why it's only getting a 1
Hmm. Doesn't make any sense. We work closely with every major pharmacy. What money do you want returned? Please email us at help@goodrx.com - we can make it right.
I used goodrx for a UTI. Because it was my third within a year they would not prescribe an antibiotic but the Dr asked me questions I had already filled out and with it taking hours in between to respond, it was a complete waste of my time. Obviously, male Dr who obviously isn't aware of or considerate that it's not unheard of to get recurrent utis as a woman made the decision. Find an online place that doesn't treat you like you're drug seeking or something for a simple antibiotic. Maybe I just got a really bad Dr but my experience was terrible today. Oh and also he wanted me to send him another selfie which was bizarre and no reason for it.

I am so happy that I stumbled across this website. My insurance company quit covering my prescription face wash, which is part of the regimen to prevent recurrence of my skin cancer. Prior to this the copay was $50. It jumped up to $450 (yes, for a face wash)! I found a coupon from GoodRX-$46 from Costco, $68 from Walgreens. I went to Walgreens because it is much more convenient and they already know me. Although they didn't tell me about the coupon when I told them I couldn't get the wash, they did honor it immediately when I presented one. No questions or arguments. I'm so happy that I can continue to use this product!
Since we don't have prescription drug coverage I looked into GoodRX. I have used it 6 times already and I am very pleased. The savings have been incredible and I am very grateful for GoodRX! Thank you so much.
When something is too good to be true it typically is, but not in the case of goodrx. I was very skepticalat first, but was pleasantly surprised when i got the medication for the exact price quoted on Goodrx! I saved over $200! Thanks a million Goodrx!
Thank you for sharing!
I have 10 prescription it worked on one so what good is it. I wouldn't waste your time with it none of my prescription are something that would be difficult to find. One is for thyroid not covered antidepressant not covered etc
Hello Cyndy--We’re so sorry about your experience using our coupons at the pharmacy. Our prices are generally very accurate and pharmacies are contractually obligated to accept our discounts under most circumstances. Our Advocacy Team would love to look into this for you! Please contact us at 888-799-2553 and we’ll investigate immediately.
I have used GoodRx for the last year with good success. I am permanently disabled, and take Hydrocodone 10-325 every six hours for chronic back pain. For the longest time, I have filled all my scripts at CVS. I noticed my Norco was much cheaper through GoodRx at Kroger, and had my next refill called in there. My cost was about $16.
Now, I go to check for this month, as I am due for a refill, snd that same 120 tablets shows a price of $34.36. It's doubled in a month. And now I see there's a "Good RX gold". It sure looks like a good thing is coming to an end. GoodRX wants their cut, I guess. Disappointing.
Hi William! We're sorry to hear about the price increase. Because the coupon prices are tied to actual cash prices, they can fluctuate over time. We'd be happy to double check this for you. Please give us a call at 888-799-2553.
I used GoodRX one time in the past without a problem. Today I had an unexpired coupon that stated the price for my script and when I went to pay it was more. I called GoodRX and was told there was nothing that could be done. I asked to speak with a supervisor and there was no supervisor available and someone would call me back shortly. I never received a call back. Disappointed in the service as the coupon price was not honored and no one called to follow up.
Update: GoodRX responded to my review and must have been thinking of a different customer. The pharmacy checked and the coupon was correct and matched all the script details. I was told by the GoodRX representative that sometimes the price can change even if the coupon is not expired. I think if the coupon is valid the price stated should be honored.
Hello Molly, we were able to look you up in our system. Unfortunately it appears your coupon, while valid, didn't match your script details. Your coupon was for a quantity of 30 but your script is for 90. We can see you were still able to get the limited offer deal and are glad you were able to pick up your script. If you would still like to speak with a supervisor please give us a call back at 888-799-2553.
Answer: Yes we do. Just present coupon to save. Have a nice day
Answer: If you have any questions, we're here to help - please email help@goodrx.com and we'll get back quickly. Pharmacists have the discretion to honor or refuse controlled substance coupons, but most of them (like 99%) will take them, which is why we list them (and indicate that they may not be accepted). Hope that helps.
Answer: Hi Terry! You will need to present the coupon to the pharmacist, usually before, they fill a prescription. If you doctor's office is willing to do so for you then it may be okay, but we would suggest you present a new coupon each time you fill or refill. Sometimes our prices fluctuate and checking the coupons may get you a deeper discount. If you, or your doctor, presented a coupon and the pharmacist, for whatever reason, says the coupon cannot be used please give us a call at 1-888-799-2553, our Advocacy Team would love to assist you! Our hours are Monday-Sunday, between the hours of 8AM and 7PM CT.
Answer: Hi there - can we help you? Head to our help section for information on how we do business.
Answer: It takes very little time. Immediately after sign up you'll receive the information you need to purchase at our discounted rates.
Answer: Hi Shirley! We list coupons for Phentermine here: https://www.goodrx.com/phentermine Please be sure to update the script details and zip code to see prices for your area.
Answer: Please give our GoodRx support team a call at 888-799-2553, so they can contact the pharmacy regarding the price discrepancy, Steve. They're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: GoodRx can be used in place of Medicaid as long as the two aren't combined. Please give us a call at 888-799-2553, so we can contact the pharmacy on your behalf. We're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: Great question, Don! Since GoodRx compares prices at different pharmacies, there are sometimes lower prices with a GoodRx coupon. If you have a GoodRx Gold account, you are still able to use a GoodRx coupon if you find that it offers a better price for your prescription at a pharmacy in your area.
Answer: Hello there Anita, we're sorry for your frustrating experience at Walgreens. Please give us a call so we may investigate this and reach out to the pharmacy on your behalf. We can be reached at 888-799-2553, Monday through Sunday from 8am to 7pm CT.
GoodRx has a rating of 2.8 stars from 604 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with GoodRx most frequently mention customer service, coupon price and discount card. GoodRx ranks 1st among Pharmacy sites.
We list Walmart's "regular prices" and we talk to them regularly. Yes, you're right - you don't have to do anything. We'd love to look into this if you'll give us a chance - please email help@goodrx.com?
