For everyone who doesn't think these would work please just try. I recently had a screw up with insurances when moving down to florida for a new job opportunity and my insurance wouldn't cover my script this month and i used GoodRx dropped my $450.00 script to $145.00. I am so happy and thankful for GoodRx!
I paid for a visit with GoodRX Care and explained my situation. The doctor rushed through the visit and I did not get the correct medication. When I wrote back I got multiple different nurse practitioners responding to me telling me to pay for a new visit to get the correct medication. Excuse me... This was a error on their end! Then they told me all this stuff to buy and I kept informing them I am allergic to it but they kept telling me to buy and use it. This was a complete joke! I used telehealth.com and was able to get exactly what I needed, no issues. Avoid GoodRX Care by all means!
I have cancelled the subscription several times and they are still trying to take money from me. I have sent an email and called but it's still going on. They are just going to bully me and take my money. Don't subscribe find another company, because these guys are legal scammers.
Giving us a call will be the best way to get this handled, Charanda. Please give us a call at 855-487-0694.
Quantity 120 of levetiracetam 750mg was $170 cash. Sam's Advantage Plus membership discount was $102.
GoodRx website said I would pay $20. However, the actual price I paid at the counter was $39. (The pharmacy tech told me that GoodRx coupon doesn't always show the GoodRx quoted price.) Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
But it did work and I saved a lot of money!
To get 60 tabs of Subutex@ $134.00. Went last week and have be informed. If I have no insurance and it is a schedule 2drug. I have to pay full price $311.00 for 60 tabs.
Mind you I'm on disability but will not have medicare until December. Funny thing is not all Walgreens "know about" there new policy. I called corporate and got no answers there. Has anybody heard of this?
My wife has non-small cell, non-smoking lung cancer. We purchased her first script for a little less than $500 at a Safeway (very rude) in Fairfax Va near Centreville. She is at a refill point and now the cost at the Saeway is over a 1000% increase. For the past week the cost at Giant has been a little less than $500. I'm guessing our inquiries have made that cost increase over 1000%. Bait & switch? It's like a drug dealer saying the first one is free--now we got you. So, my experience with Goodrx is pretty rotten.
Hello Leon! We apologize that we were not able to provide a lower discount, and we would be happy to double check this for you. We have sent you a private message on Facebook, where your original comment was posted to see if we can investigate further!
It's finding free money. I was prepared to pay over $50 to $60 for a month's supply. Using the coupon at my local CVS I paid less than $35 for the same amount. I received a 34% savings through very little effort. CVS took the GoodRX coupon no problem at all. Pharmacist entered the coupon into the system in a matter of seconds and done- savings. Now its in the system for the refills. It cost nothing to try this and I received the quoted amount on the website. I recommend you try this to save you money. Why not? It costs you nothing to try.
Yes, they did reach out. And LISTENED to me. I was impressed that Doug Hirsch, the CEO, took time to email and look into my situation. He offered me $20 in compensation--but I really only wanted $10--the amount that I actually spent over and above the coupon quote. And he promised to commend the customer rep that was so helpful. They did the right thing.
Thanks for the additional post, Janet. Appreciate it.
First time I tried it. Coupon was $18 for 30 days of generic Effexor ER. Got to the pharmacy (Target CVS) and they told me the GoodRX price was $55. Big difference--over 3 times higher. The pharmacist found me a cheaper price from another source. When I reported the difference to GoodRX, they confirmed that their coupon price was in error. They told me I could go back across town and probably get a refund for maybe $7. And for my time and gas expense--they offered me a $5 Amazon gift card. REALLY?
So far everything I've gotten a coupon for has been ignored. Walmart refuses to adhere to the prices on the coupon. Instead they refer to the clause that gives them an out on the coupon. This is a waste of time...

My husband just went to Walgreens to pick up my estrogen pill. I always pay $109 every month. He told the pharmacist it cost too much and she told him to check out GoodRX on his phone. He typed in the name and she took the coupon, no problem. It only cost $39! I'm sending him to the pharmacy from now on.
Thanks!
I spent a lot of time researching where I could get my prescription cheapest, and decided to have the script written for a Walgreen's Pharmacy solely because GoodRX 's app stated that the medication would be $66. I checked on the price regularly for a few weeks before my doctor sent the script over, and when I went to pick it up I was told it would be $167 (which is the cash price of the drug). I called multiple pharmacies and ended up calling GoodRX; the representative was very polite and helpful, but basically said "the prices listed are estimates and are infrequently updated, so it's definitely possible that your medication is actually $167 even though I can see that our app currently lists it as $66."
If someone told you that, they are incorrect and we'd like to make it right. Our prices are accurate and are updated daily. Please email help@goodrx.com?
Got coupons for Rx at my pharmacy: they don't take them. Got coupons at several other pharmacies: none would take them. Most were polite enough not to laugh in my face. Don't know how they get good reviews unless they write them themselves.
We work closely with all our pharmacies and we can resolve any issue you’ve had. Please email help@goodrx.com
The app or a text is the only option for using GoodRx according to customer service. This is not user-friendly for sight-impaired individuals. I thought or maybe assumed I could just print a coupon from my email. (I use a text reader to read and use my email on my LARGE screen computer.) But I could not just click and print a coupon, they required me to download their app, which I cannot read or use. Now I admit I have the "Free" version, I can't imagine paying for this even to get a better discount.
Hello Cherrill, we apologize for the confusion and frustration you experienced. If you are looking to print off a coupon from goodrx.com, it can be a little tricky since it isn't listed up front on the main drug listing page. We recommend after looking up your prescription, click on the coupon of your choice which take you to a separate webpage. On that page you should see the coupon, and just below it options to text, print, or when available send it directly to your pharmacy. As for viewing the print option during coupon look-up, we will reach out to our internal teams to see if we can get that updated!
The commercial that claims up to 80 percent savings is misleading. The commercial referencing a $67 transaction reduced to $8.70 is obviously more the an 80 percent savings. Based on all the customer complaints I have read I would have to say that this another attempt to mislead customers. Or else the company can not figure basic math.
Hi Thomas! We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate you taking the time to provide us with feedback. It is possible to save more than what is advertised on our commercials and we strive to save Americans as much as possible on their medications. If you have any further concerns, please give us a call at 888-799-2553.
After my "D" I didn't have traditional health Insurance. I called around and asked pharmacies for the price of Latisse. I could not afford $170 for a 5ml supply. GoodRx helped me get Bimatoprost Ophthalmic (Latisse generic) for $66.00. I was beyond thrilled! The GoodRx customer service rep was fantastic as well! Thank you!
Thanks!
I had no insurance at the time when I found GoodRx online. I take many that I could not afford at the time. I'm diabetic and have heart issues. I have recommended to all of the receptions and doctors that I see that they tell uninsured patients about GoodRx, they were my lifesaver for sure!
On Friday, my Vet called a prescription in to local Fry's with a GoodRX coupon. And emailed the same coupon to me. Saturday am I go to Fry's, but the coupon will not work. Pharmacy tried to get customer service. No luck. I called and tried to get customer service. No luck. Phone numbers on the coupon go to Inside RX (for humans). Customer Service with Inside RX said I should go back home, get a new account, process a new coupon, then drive back to town to see if that coupon would work. I don't think so!
We're happy to help and we respond within 1 business day. Please email help@goodrx.com and we'll get back pronto.
Went to my doctor on Thursday, he sent a prescription for a drug not covered by my insurance to a pharmacy, showed me how to install the GoodRx on my phone. Later, looking at the coupon on the GoodrRx app on my phone, found that the pharmacy he sent it to "doesn't accept coupons". Fair enough, called the doctor's office, they resent it to a Kroger's pharmacy near me. Walked in, showed them the coupon on my phone and bingo, I had my drugs for a fraction of what it would cost without the coupon. Easy as could be. Great site, great service. Almost too good to be true ( I WAS skeptical at first, but I'm a believer now)
Thank you so much. Appreciate you taking the time to write this review. Happy you had a great experience using GoodRx!
Thanks to the suggestion of a pharmacist at Walgreens, I googled for a coupon for my prescription and found GoodRx. I saved $60 with the coupon. Suggestion for US consumers: when using this coupon tell them you'll be using the coupon vs your insurance.
I thought good rx was the solution to high prescription cost but I guess I was wrong. I did save about $100 per month for about 3 months but now my prescription has doubled in price since last month. I guess It was too good to be true!
Answer: Yes we do. Just present coupon to save. Have a nice day
Answer: If you have any questions, we're here to help - please email help@goodrx.com and we'll get back quickly. Pharmacists have the discretion to honor or refuse controlled substance coupons, but most of them (like 99%) will take them, which is why we list them (and indicate that they may not be accepted). Hope that helps.
Answer: Hi Terry! You will need to present the coupon to the pharmacist, usually before, they fill a prescription. If you doctor's office is willing to do so for you then it may be okay, but we would suggest you present a new coupon each time you fill or refill. Sometimes our prices fluctuate and checking the coupons may get you a deeper discount. If you, or your doctor, presented a coupon and the pharmacist, for whatever reason, says the coupon cannot be used please give us a call at 1-888-799-2553, our Advocacy Team would love to assist you! Our hours are Monday-Sunday, between the hours of 8AM and 7PM CT.
Answer: Hi there - can we help you? Head to our help section for information on how we do business.
Answer: It takes very little time. Immediately after sign up you'll receive the information you need to purchase at our discounted rates.
Answer: Hi Shirley! We list coupons for Phentermine here: https://www.goodrx.com/phentermine Please be sure to update the script details and zip code to see prices for your area.
Answer: Please give our GoodRx support team a call at 888-799-2553, so they can contact the pharmacy regarding the price discrepancy, Steve. They're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: GoodRx can be used in place of Medicaid as long as the two aren't combined. Please give us a call at 888-799-2553, so we can contact the pharmacy on your behalf. We're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: Great question, Don! Since GoodRx compares prices at different pharmacies, there are sometimes lower prices with a GoodRx coupon. If you have a GoodRx Gold account, you are still able to use a GoodRx coupon if you find that it offers a better price for your prescription at a pharmacy in your area.
Answer: Hello there Anita, we're sorry for your frustrating experience at Walgreens. Please give us a call so we may investigate this and reach out to the pharmacy on your behalf. We can be reached at 888-799-2553, Monday through Sunday from 8am to 7pm CT.
