I purchased a 3 hybrid titleist for 279 dollars. I paid full price which is fine. No headcover though. I emailed golf galaxy 2 times with no response. I talk to live chat and he tells me there's nothing he can do I'd have to contact my local store. I tell him my local store is 2 hours away. He says we'll do u have a ducks sporting goods near u. I call $#*!s and I'm on the phone n hold for 30 min only to be told they can't help me I will have to call golf galaxy. Why am I going the extra mile. Stay away from this company and online ordering. Tgw is my go to site. I just ordered a 4 hybrid titleist and my headcover came with it. Sucks I couldn't leave no stars
I got on line and ordered the club, the site said in site. After six days they still have no idea when it will ship. I could have got the club online from another company, I should have and will the next time. Waste of time and money.
Went there to spend a $500 gift card I received for Christmas at the Mt. Laurel, NJ location. I was hitting some balls in the bay when "Dan" approaches me and rudely tells me that I can only hit 2-3 balls and after that I would have to pay for a fitting. Never asking me what I was looking for. Then he abruptly turns and didn't even give me the time of day. There level of customer service has deteriorated immensely... I will never shop there again.
So the store I go to has a great manager(Eric). He is very personable. He knew my name the next time I saw him. There are a couple of club repair guys that are accommodating and knowledgeable. But you have to find these guys. Many of the employees act like they know something but they don't. One thing I don't like is the clothes. They seem cheap but cost in the $70-$100. I find better deals at the outlet malls. Many times they will not have the newest thing or they have too many regular flex or too many stiff flex. You can't take anything out to try it for a day which sucks. I hate hitting off mats. An iron fitting is $100. For real? I know my swing better than anyone. I will fit myself thank you.
About the worst customer service out there. They just pass you on and tell you to call a number that no one answers.
I placed an online order for a set of Custom Taylor Made clubs for my son's Christmas gift on 12/3; the promised delivery date when ordered was 12/18. My order never updated after 12/3... just said preparing to ship. I've called and/or emailed customer service daily since 12/18, when it was obvious that I wouldn't receive the clubs on the date promised. Everyday I'm given a different ship date... 12/21,12/23,12/28,3/5/2021! It's like they literally make up ship dates and other information just to get you to leave them alone. AND, they say that I cannot cancel the order since the clubs are already being made! The worst customer service experience with this awful company! I've learned my lesson! Wish I would have simply read a few reviews before ordering, since this seems to be very common with this sorry excuse for a company!
Gift Cards are a scam, Golf Galaxy & parent company, $#*!'s Sporting Goods wants to hide behind all gift card purchases as a problem with CashCard, the company they use to send out gift cards. My credit card charges state purchase was with Golf Galaxy. CashCard does not answer the phone or provide any tracking info for missing cards. I have made 6 calls, approx total 4 hours waiting for somebody to answer.
Received a booklet from golf galaxy for $20 off of a $100 purchase. Tried to use it on a $149 bushnell wingman speaker. The clerk said I couldn't use it on this product! I have also tried to use them in the past on clubs with the same results! It didn't specify what it couldn't be used on. The coupon was from golf galaxy so in my opinion they should honor the coupon as other stores do theirs. If this is their policy please take me off of the mailing list.
Just ordered a golf cart via their website. Realized that I ordered the wrong color and went to cancel the order within 6 minutes of placing it. There was no function on the website to cancel the order, so I immediately called the customer service number. Told they have a system issue so the ability to cancel the order on the website was not available. Spent the next 30+ minutes on the phone then in chat room trying to cancel the order but they could not help due to their "system" issue. Then informed by customer service that I could no longer cancel my order as the 30-minute grace period in which to cancel the order had expired. Interesting in that I was informed of this constraint time after it expired... nothing on the website indicates this constraint: "Time has expired... Now you know it is just 30 minutes after you make the purchase." Then told I would have to take delivery of the order and return it to the store: "Now, you have to wait until it arrives and take it to the store". Ordering on-line as no store nearby! Then I was told it is not their fault: "I know it is not your fault but neither is it mine". Service manager refused to get on the line to discuss. Note to all... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER! I would rate them with negative stars but they have a system issue preventing this.
Hey Golf Galaxy, way to ruin my Christmas gift surprise. I ordered a pair of golf shoes and all you did was shrink wrap them in clear plastic. That is the only order of many from different companies that did not come in a bag or box. Now my husband knows what he is getting for Christmas.
Customer service is the worst! Ordered a Mizuno custom hybrid on 10/5, and only from thee guys because I had $#*!s' reward points to use. No response for 10 days, and since it said, "usually ships within 7 days", I contacted them to see what was up on 10/15.24 hours later I get response that says they are going to have to contact the vendor - you think?! Why not before my inquiry? I wait another 4 days, to get a response on 10/20, only to tell me that it will ship "around" 10/26! Seriously, if I treated my customers like this I wouldn't have any left! I live in Atlanta, and am used to getting custom Mizuno stuff with 2 or 3 days, so someone has obviously dropped the ball and forgot to order. Just for the heck of it, I called the Mizuno store today, gave then the same specs I ordered from GG, and asked how long to have it delivered. "Normally it's two days, but we're a day behind, so three days, and we're terribly sorry for the delay. Next time I have reward points I'll get a useless t-shirt from $#*!'s, but never again will I do business with GG, especially with PGA Superstore down the street. I still don't have the club, but they have my money!
I went to golf galaxy in Robinson Township, PA to get my first full bag fitting. I was super excited to go through the process, learn about my swing and get my dream set of clubs. The club fitter rushed me through the process. He didnt look too much into my numbers or anything and didnt try any different techniques to get my specs right. So i finally spend a fortune on my dream set of clubs and receive my first couple clubs (Driver, 3 Wood, and Hybrid) in the mail. Nothing was wrong with that. My irons and wedges were on backorder because of COVID. I noticed in my paperwork that the associate made a huge mistake in my order. Called to get it resolved and he rushed me trough that process too and didnt seem to care if i got the right clubs or not and seemed as if he didnt have time for me. So a month and a half goes by and i never got my irons and wedges. I call and get the tracking numbers and find out they will be delivered the next day. I get the wedges first and they are completely wrong and i found out that he had put the wedge degree, bounce and grind wrong in the order. He also put the wrong address in the order for my irons so they got delivered to the wrong address. The address that they were delivered to didnt even exist by the way, so i am still yet to locate those irons. Now im. Currently waiting for my irons and wedges still after this whole terrible process. I probably called golf galaxy 60 times in the past month and a half trying to work through problems with my order and getting everything straightened out and when dfelivery time comes, they are still wrong. This has been the worst service i have ever gotten. Dont go to golf galaxy for a fitting unless you know the person giving the fitting and know they will make sure everything is exactly as you hope for.
False Claim. Have been in with a price match on items just to be turned away. See disclosure below. Apparently there are no "authorized online retailers. GG would not drop $10.00 off a $249.00 golf bag last night!
Golf Galaxy will not be undersold. We are an authorized online retailer for the top brands in golf. If you find a lower price on any product we sell at any other authorized online retailer, we will match the price at the time of purchase or within the following 30 days
This is my follow up to a review posted previously about my poor customer service experience at DSG/Golf Galaxy I was excited to get a voicemail message from "Melinda" in the Customer Escalation Department. She left a brief message stating she would call me back. This was Tuesday 9/22 at 1:30PM EST. I have yet to hear back? I called the number back each day Tuesday through Friday only to immediately go on hold with no answer and twice to have the call disconnected. After being ignored in store and now via the corporate HQ Customer retention team, I have decided to No longer patronize DSG or Golf Galaxy. In addition, I have begun sharing their POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE with friends, family and each foursome I have been a paired with since being ignored in their stores. I have a couple golf outings upcoming where I have input for the purchase of prizes/Swag and will NOT be going to DSG/Golf Galaxy.
Disappointed in Georgia
I bought as set of PING iron on June 20th, 2020. The weren't in stock. Salesmen placed order. I received clubs at store 4 weeks later. A month passes and I check the website to see where my points are, I was thinking about buying a new pair of shoes. Nothing, my account shows no purchases. I open a chat session. I give him all my information, Person on other side apologies and says purchases and points will be added to my account. 10 days pass and still nothing. I open another chat session and now I get the story "we do not offer points for web special orders". But I tried, bought, and picked up the clubs in store. They offered to add 300 points to my award program in 24 to 48 hours. Heard that song and dance before. Very deceptive business practices. I have been a loyal shopper for 20 years... no more.
Was looking for an electric golf push cart. The price said, "Was $1495. Must put in cart to see price." And there it was-$1495. Shame on you!
I hate doing this but I cant help but not share. In mid July I ordered some junior clubs for my sons birthday at the beginning of August. I figured that was more than enough time to get there. After weeks of them not coming and having trouble tracking them, I finally checked with support (in mid August). They told me they were delivered a few days prior... to Kentucky! I live in Iowa! They did offer to reship me out the same set for free so I accepted because my son really liked the set. So today (Aug 31st) I contacted support again because they still hadn't come and they were stuck in transit. They told me they were sorry but they were now unavaliable and I would just be refunded. So long story short- I wasted a month and a half waiting on two sets of clubs that were never delivered and my son didn't get his birthday gift. We will be looking elsewhere for our golf gear from now on.
Just leaving the golf galaxy in greenfield wi. Horrible customer service guys are more concerned with their phones and seeming preoccupied with god knows whatever the place wasn't busy but somehow I couldn't even hit a club again guys seemed like they didn't want to be bothered. I guess I'll take by golf club business elsewhere like club champion or somewhere deemed better suited
They forgot ALL my clubs except one... I ordered the TaylorMade M6 irons 5-AW and literally received only the 7 iron. Then i ask how do I get my clubs and they tell me to DRIVE 30 minutes to my closest store, get a refund from them (3/5business days) and then REORDER my clubs for another $650... Awful customer service and absolutely idiotic how they want me to get the clubs in which I already paid for and THEY messed up... Will never buy from them again!
I purchased a Bushnell range finder last November. It stopped working correctly so I brought it back in to get it fixed or replaced since it was only 7 months since the purchase. I was asked if I purchased the Golf Galaxy warranty and I said that I didn't think so. At that point, I was simply "brushed off" and told to call Bushnell. They gave me Bushnell's phone number(which was a recording telling people to go to the website) and then went about their business.
They didn't offer me a "loaner". They didn't offer to call Bushnell on my behalf. They just didn't care.
I just spent over $3,000 last week purchasing a new set of irons, woods, bag, etc for my son from this store. Never again!
