I have read the other reviews for Go Daddy I must say I never found it spammy in fact I have now got three domains from them and it was a doodle to setup there customer service even set one up for me as I had a bit of trouble with the pointing my domain settings and they were brilliant. Much better than other UK domain hosting companies.
OMG THE WORST CHOOSE I DID PER 3 YEARS MAKING PAYMENTS FOR NOTHING, AND WHEN I FAIL WITH ONE PAYMENT THEY CANCEL MY ENTIRE 3 YEARS WORK ON DESIGN AND MARKETING. NEVER CHOOSE GO DADDY. READ FIRST ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOUR DECISION.
I have a small company, and I hired Go Daddy to design the website and provide SCO services, I was promised after 3 to 6 months that it would be on page 1 of Google, now a year later, it is still at page 101, and Godaddy has not offered to do any additional service, even though they did not meet what they promised. They will tell you anything when you purchase a service, but they will not deliver.
Horrible Horrible Horrible service. They are rude, they want some person who has NO technical knowledge to be the "go between" just repeating conversations with no idea what they are talking about, then if you ask to talk to that person they will just literally transfer you back to the main number. After they have done this enough times to make you want to tear your hair out, they are absolutely MONSTROUS if you express ANY frustration. Please do yourself and your physical and mental health a favor - find someone else to purchase your services through.
I moved my site from Weebly to Wordpress GoDaddy Hosting. The site was beautiful, but it was so slow that it wouldn't open. At All. I built a third site in Square Space, and after a week of late nights I called GoDaddy to cancel hosting, repoint my domain, and get a refund for the s* product that didn't work.
They were helpful in repointing, but they kept my moneythat they didn't earn. F* businesses that feel that their best, their products that customers pay for, don't have to actually work. I'll be looking for a new place to buy my domain next time.
I bought a domain name from GoDaddy, the payment went through without a single problem. However, when I go to domain management, I didn't see my domain there. Called the support team, and they put me on hold for half an hour, then told me that my domain was in a pending state. What? I've bought many domains before and never had to wait to manage my domain. They said since it's in the pending state, they cannot give me a refund! This is ridiculous. Now I have to wait 72 hours before I know what will happen next. AVOID DOING ANY BUSINESS WITHGoDaddy AT ALL COST. They will ripped your money.
I've sold a domain for 2600$ and they just sent me 1800$... ridiculous! Deleted all my accounts and I will never ever in my life do anything with them again!

Go Daddy used to have good customer service. I down graded MS 365 email and they hung me out to dry. Hey Blue Host or NS or HostGater want my business? GD staff lied to me and told me they couldn't help, it wasn't their policy to assist. Hey GD, piss off.
I was very excited to pay Go Daddys team to build my website for me and optimize it so that it could be easily findable on search engines. I have prior to that build my own website for the same company. I have to say that the go daddy team dropped the ball on me. They have delivered a half finished website that looked horrible. In the end i was left with fixing everything myself. They couldn't even upload the pictures i provided in on the right subpages and instead used some stock images completely unrelated to the subject of each subpage of my website.
Horribly disappointed with this service and would never recommend it to anyone.
This company revisits and resets realtors' minds' language. Businessmen can easily take their desired decision and engage themselves in optimum environment. Setschedule promptly responses.
AVOID! My website (taxi booking) was off line for over 24hrs. What cause massive loses and made 10 drivers without work. Incompetent and extremally rude person from technical support first tried falsly claim that it is my domain operator fault and later when thay found it is fault of them he just hang up. They dont want talk to me, respond on phone calls or chat messages when I asking about compesation and restore service which i paid for (one year upfront).
Summary if you want loose money and fighting with incompetent, rude fraudants it is good place to go.
Go daddy is a good service in terms of hosting. Most of the time u cannot find your desired domain. But overall i am satisfied with their services. 8/10.
I have been a godaddy customer since 2012. Last week couldnt log into my webmail because my card info was obsolete and after giving my accual creditcard webmail was live again. But all my 6 years of work mails were missing. After 2 livechats and 8 local phone calls they said there was a mistake and we have deleted all your mails. My package is called "premium bussiness email". What a joke:)
General customer experience in a nutshell:
Felt like complaining to a soviet state company in the sixties. You have to wait for 45 minutes on the line until the rep gets back to you with a blunt feedback. Nobody tracks your complaint after you shutdown, No written record, no complaint emailing. If you are lucky to find a "live chat" button on the godaddy page it is like hitting the lottery because it appears and dissapers. Now they generously granted me one year free subscription to compensate their disability to do their core bussiness.
If you've no problem with Godaddy or have something urgent and critical, they don't support you at least in the short-term. They don't care for their customers that much or let's say— for high ticket clients.
Godaddy customers service is the one of the worst services online and they must do something about it, otherwise their business model will fall apart in the long-term. Honestly and based on my personal experience for around 1 year. I joined them on 6/6/2021. My account is still active till now and I couldn't login to remove it nor I'm able to contact them.
They are still getting money from my old subscription and I don't like it all.
Just yesterday, I got the refund subscription fee for this year. That's a good omen. That proves that they care a little bit for their customers reviews online.
It's better to take care of your business reputation. And the best ways to do that is by creating high-quality products or services that solve customers' pain points and save their time.
Now I can say that GoDaddy company is in the right track to keep its position in the tech market.
The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because— even though they have stopped my billing subscription, my account still open and cannot be or difficult to get removed based on their saying.
I've 5 years of online experience. Most platforms make it easy to delete your account. If not immediately, then it's scheduled for monthly or yearly removal.
The domain registration is cheap and even cheaper with coupons you can search the internet for. Easy to manage domains, edit or forward to a new ip. I Recommend Godaddy.
Godaddy charged me a domain renewal fee two times, and it took them two weeks to restore my domain due to some system issue.
Really bad customer support, their agents do not know the things.

GoDaddy was paid upfront to build a simple 10 page website before the pandemic and it has been a nightmare. Not only have they not delivered for over 3 years, they constantly used the pandemic as a reason for missing numerous deadlines. Further, I was forced to write all the content for the website and when they made careless mistakes I had to stay on the phone to point these out.
It is obvious to me that the company does not care about the quality of its services, and is more concerned with attracting new business. After 3 years they still have not satisfactorily completed the website. However, they have begun charging for hosting fees as well.
Something more needs to be done by the government to collectively protect unsuspecting consumers from corporations like GoDaddy that take our money and refuse to provide the relevant services. The responsibility should be on the corporation to deliver rather than be left up to each individual to prosecute its own case. Being a capital society should not empower businesses to abuse customers.
Hired GoDaddy Web designers back in November 2021 and 3 months later the website is still dead with major bugs. The Designers have pasesed it off to Marketing with no follow up with me. $2000. 00 and a website that can't go live because it doesnt load, the design isnt consistent and they did not use the pictures and verbiage I uploaded to the library they sent me. They had guarenteed a beautiful working site in 6 weeks. Im now contacting their leadership for a refund.

Answer: Do not use this company. Go daddy excessive fees, will keep adding fees claiming lack of security, and also has a policy that will ask for private information such as passport, license if you ever change your phone number even though they will talk to you on the phone.
