I ordered glasses in January with RX uploaded. Paid in full only to be sent wrong glasses as well as wrong Rx. Have called over a dozen times only to be rushed off the phone to be told an email will be sent within 2 days. That email NEVER happens. When you call in its always my fault and a different reason why i screwed up. Just own the fact GLASSES USA! 2 months later & no resolution. AVOID THIS WEBSITE AT ALL COSTS!
They sent my glasses the wrong prescription, even though I provided the correct one. They showed no remorse didn't want to offer anything for the inconvenience and wouldn't even expedite the return for the correct order. Bad customer service I wouldn't trust them again.
Bought glasses in November 2019, fell apart in January 2020. The posts holding the right earpiece to the post pulled out, leaving nothing to hold earpiece on. Contacted GlassesUSA, sent them photos and they offered me a 50% discount on a pair of new glasses. Since it was more than 14 days, I receive a discount on new glasses, indicating that they either can't "fix" the glasses I have or they're produced so cheaply they can't be fixed. So if you purchase from this company, make sure all the issues you may have occur within 14 days if you want to take advantage of their "generous" 14 day warranty.
Insanely slow shipping. Shipping speeds are about 3x what is stated on their website. They shipped part of my order but I had to contact them because everything I received showed that my entire order shipped when in reality only about 25% of my order had shipped and they had no ETA on the rest. They said they would have to reach out to their "production partner" and it would be 1-2 business days for a status update. Then I received an email that the remainder of my order shipped a WEEK later with no additional tracking. When I contacted them I found out that no, the order hadn't actually shipped and it would be 1-2 more business days before they would have tracking. Their customer service is incompetent, knows nothing, and gives canned answers without actually addressing any issues. Despite the delays my order experienced, they were unwilling to do anything to promote a more positive experience, such as expediting the shipping. I still do t have all my products and I ordered in December. I will never, NEVER use this company ever again. The small dollar savings is not even worth the hassle.
I bought a pair of glasses, placing my order on December 1,2019. I month after, January 2020, I started to request about my order. Finally, I received a package on January 15. But Only contained one Glasses, the expensive one wasn't there. I claimed about that, the explanation that I received was: "... both frames were made in different laboratories that's why the glasses were being shipped separately.", and my second glasses were in "production". At this moment, January 24, they said: "... now in transit and we're waiting for the tracking number to become active". So, If I finally receive the final part of my order, maybe It will be in March of 2020. Can you believe that... I haven't received more than an "apology". I demanded a express deliver but they said: "it is not possible at this stage"...
They sent me the wrong prescription lenses and would not make them right, said I was out of the 14 day return policy, now I have a pair of glasses that my son will never wear and I am out $ 75, such a rip off

I am very disappointed with the product received and the customer service. I ordered a glasses for my husband and received them with a wrong prescription. He was working away by 2 months, so, he had chance to try them a month an a half after we received them and they did not work, so we took them to the optometrist and he confirmed that the 2 pair have a wrong prescription. I contacted customer service for getting the correction but they said can´t do nothing because 14 days passed already.

The lenses or prescription glasses produced by this company is a JOKE. This company is the very definition of SCAM artist. This company's actual name is OPTIMAX SERVICES based in TEL AVIV, ISRAEL and doing business under the name GlassesUSA while deceptively advertising that they are headquartered in the US. The name GlassesUSA is their online store name, but they ship products under another name which is Flying Cargo Logistics, and that latter name is also doing business as RIM Logistics. Confused yet? All of this is to shield their true identity from consumers to avoid liability. Once I placed the order, the company stated that it will take 6 days for production to complete the lenses, another 2-3 days for "rigorous 5-strip quality control check", then the glasses will shipped afterwards. It took two weeks to receive my glasses with the WRONG PRESCRIPTION, NO ANTI-REFLECTIVE coating, as a matter of fact, I was seeing the reflection of my own eyes' while wearing those horrible glasses. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, Chinese made lenses are far superior in quality and craftsmanship. When I asked the company rep how can the company send the wrong prescription despite their claim of "2-3 rigorous quality assurance test", the rep stated, "I'm not sure, we just tell customers whatever is written on the customer service scripts." Another rep stated that the company's sorting facility Optimax takes time to sort out the glasses that were shipped from Israel, so that's why the company says it takes 6 days for production and 2-3 for quality assurance. Deceptive practices, false advertising, and the worst, cheaply made lenses that I've ever seen in over 20 years of experience buying and wearing glasses.
Poor customer service. Inflexible return policy. I ordered sunglasses as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Selected wrong frame color, so requested an even exchange and offered to pay shipping cost. More than 14 days had passed since I ordered the gift before Christmas.
People on phone did not know how to help. By email I received "cut and paste" responses. They would repeat the same standard company line word for word. I also received one response offering a 50% store credit for broken products which had nothing to do with my request. I'm not sure if people actual read the email requests. They definitely will not make any exceptions to the 14 day policy, even if it is an exchange and the customer offers to pay shipping cost. So beware if you are doing your Christmas shopping early, and be confident you will not need to deal with customer service before ordering from this company.

I'd give them no stars if this were an option. I ordered contact lenses from them over a month ago. I never received the lenses although they claim that UPS (which they agent kept mistakenly calling USPS) delivered the order. After asking me if perhaps my household members or neighbors may have received the order on my behalf (an unprofessional and insulting question), they first told me I needed to open an investigation with UPS, THEIR contracting partner; of course UPS does not allow recipients to open investigations. Upon reporting my conversation with UPS back to the customer service representative, I was informed that they would pass the issue on to their "Shipping Dept" for investigation. I was told that until the investigation was undertaken they would provide neither with replacement contacts nor reimburse me the $400 they'd already charged me. The rep could not tell me what would trigger a final resolution, simply that this is their protocol (i. E. to throw up another roadblock in the hope I would abandon my claim out of frustration). I spoke with them again today, two weeks later, and was informed that an investigation had not not opened, but that they would do so now, and I'd receive an email within 24-48 hours (they only communicate via email, go figure) with a response, after which point I would receive the option of reimbursement or replacement. I have lost all hope that I will see either the order (which I now fear will be knock-off product) or my money again. I am now exploring Small Claims options.
Do not be tempted by what appear to be very competitive prices. Run don't walk away from this company.

From August through present, I have been trying to get glasses with my correct prescription made by GlassesUSA. I initially ordered two pairs of glasses, both have been returned because the prescriptions were not correct. Luckily I added their insurance, which allowed me to get a second pair of glasses (of my primary glasses) made at no additional cost. However, neither of the two pairs of these glasses made had the correct prescription. Glasses USA has offered a credit, but I have lost confidence in their ability to make my glasses correctly. I have asked for a full refund, which has been refused.
The other glasses that I originally purchased were returned in October 2019 because they gave me headaches. Glasses USA has still not sent me a new pair. At this point I have completely lost confidence in their ability to fulfill a prescription correctly, and have experienced poor customer service.
I have communicated frequently with the returns department, and put off writing a bad review online until my request for a refund was summarily denied. At this point, everyone should know not to trust GlassesUSA because they have not made glasses with correct prescriptions for me, and I have lost a lot of money for no fault of my own.

This company has issues fulfilling orders with correct prescriptions. They have messed mine up now on two orders. The latest one they are making it difficult for me to return the latest ones they messed up by shipping glasses with incorrect prescription.

I don't know why they even make you put one star. It took a month to get my glasses. The glasses weren't the correct prescription so I returned. Not happy about the lies in correspondence, I requested a refund instead of store credit two weeks after returning the glasses. I was told on (12-28-2019) by a suppose to be Kattie Fletzchier (employee) "It does not matter that you returned the product and we promote satisfaction or a full refund, you will not not get a refund, because you hit store credit." When asked if I could ask a manager for a refund I was told "No, you are not allowed to talk to a manager, you are not getting a refund!"

This is the second time that I have to send my glasses back. The first time they sent me a completely different prescription than I ordered (the photos below-the prescription they sent vs my actual prescription). When I tried talking to customer service over the phone, the rep didn't seem to understand at all what I was telling her. And the rep via chat made it seem like it was my fault and that I just didn't like the glasses which was nowhere near the case.
They received my glasses quicker than I received them. And now, I need to send the recent ones back for the same reason, wrong prescription. This is ridiculous.
I tried to just see if I can get used to them but they are completely off. Because they only give you store credit and not a refund, you're stuck with this back and forth bs.
I used to shop at a different online site that aren't as big as glassesusa, but they never once got my prescription wrong. They just didn't have the glasses I wanted. It's definitely not worth it.

This company is absolute garbage. Who even knows where their call center is located, but they are obviously some outsourced gig that doesn't know anything other than the script they're given.
I placed an order for a 2nd pair of glasses to compare before returning my first, only to find out once my second pair arrived (their shipping takes FOREVER, so plan on waiting a long time to receive what you ordered.) that my return window for the first pair had already closed. 14 days. FOURTEEN. That's it. It's pretty standard for any purchases to have at least 30 days. The worst part is when I asked where that policy was, it was buried in section 8 of a painfully long return policy - sure that is not a coincidence.
The worst part is when I called customer service after getting my first pair, I was trying to order a second pair and explained I needed to return the first. I asked if there was an exchange option, and they said I would have to fill out an RMA form, and I could do this when I was ready to return. No mention of the fact that I only had 14 days from delivery to do this. (The worst part is 4 of the 14 days were the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.)
When I explained my situation to the CSR, and asked if I could speak to someone else she never connected me with anyone. Just rudely put me on hold completely unexpectedly, with no "be right back, one moment," or anything to that effect, and would just disappear for a couple minutes and come back and read from the same script over and over. No exceptions to this unbelievably strict and difficult to even find return policy, despite the fact that I had already purchased a second pair of glasses that I am keeping.
Lesson learned - unless you are 100% sure you know what you need, or are prepared to return anything you may not like IMMEDIATELY, stay away from this company. Some good deals are truly too good to be true.

Ordered prescription glasses after chatting with an agent to make sure they understood the prescription. Turns out they don't know anything about progressive lenses or the fact that left and right eye can be different. When you call customer service there is nothing they can do for you. They claim they will get back to you and that it's on the way but in reality they have no information. The first delivery of my glasses was disappointing, but I thought I just needed to get used to them. But it just wasn't right. I had NO peripheral vision at all, just a tiny spot of clarity. I returned them to try again. This took 3 1/2 months! Finally I get my re-done glasses and there is no difference at all. When I go to return these, they only offer me store credit. What will I do with this? Since they tried twice to make lenses that work, why would I ask them to do it again? I called, and the answer was NO. I cannot get a refund. So I am out $277 and have to start over again somewhere else.

I would think twice before ordering from glasses.usa. I can't comment on the quality of the glasses, but I can comment on the process and the customer service. We recently ordered four pairs of glasses in our household (four separate orders). When you order, you get an email confirming the order, another one letting you know it's in production, another one letting you know it went to a five stripe quality assurance testing, another one saying it passed and that a tracking number will be on its way and another that gives a tracking number. The issue? After six days the tracking numbers don't work with usps. It just indicates usps is still awaiting the item. Another issue we had is that one pair of glasses supposedly got shipped multiple times. How can that happen? But, of course, tracking numbers show the US postal service never received it. The lastr pair of glasses ordered hasn't yet gone into production according to their email process. We have read that people wait weeks only to be told their frames were sold out. So, we inquired with customer service about the hold up. We were told it is in a "sorting facility" but already produced and passed the quality assurance testing, so we cannot cancel the order. When we asked why we didn't receive notification that pair was produced, the notification they were sent to the five stripe quality assurance testing and the notification they passed and would be shipped with a tracking number, we got a canned chat response that did not address our question. I was then asked for my email address (presumably, so they can back-generate the emails now). We want to order three pairs of prescription sunglasses soon, but certainly are not going to use a company like this with terrible customer service and misleading production and shipping information. I hope others have had a better experience. It's a shame. We liked the website experience, the frames selection and the prices. The experience, however, has been frustrating. They did not honor the Amazon gift card referral offer either.

In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Our delivery department works toe to toe with all of our carriers to make sure our glasses are delivered as promptly as possible. We also offer a variety of shipping options that ensure a faster delivery for any interested customers, but our customers need to keep in mind shipping times do not include production time. Our customer service is available by phone, email, chat and social media around the clock, 24\7. We can be easily reached at any time, including weekends and holidays at all times to answer any questions and concerns. Our dedicated customer service team works around the clock to make sure any and all issues are taken care of. We are always working on improving all of the above, whether by opening new facilities, working and negotiating our agreements with carriers or expanding our customer service team and making them more efficient. The results are there and the vast majority of our customers are very satisfied with our services. We heartily suggest trying our services and seeing for yourselves.

Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
