After writing my review Glassesusa customer service for ahold of me and replaced my order and no extra cost. The glasses were delivered quickly after that.
I ordered two pairs of glasses on March 17th and I still have no update as to where my glasses are or even an estimate of when I will receive them. After 5 emails, 2 calls, and 1 instant message I have only received the same responses like, "Once the order has left our facilities, we rely on the courier service for all additional details on the status of your shipment.". Well that is fine but I contacted USPS and was given a tracking number and USPS has not received the package yet in order to send. In the instant message I was told that it was still going through quality testing, but... it's been nearly 3 months... I gave them every opportunity to tell me it was due to COVID which I would understand but they did not deviate from their canned responses. Finally when I asked for a refund, I was told the best they could do was a $10 in store credit. So I asked if my only hope was that my glasses eventually get here and they said "right". I have ordered from glassesusa before with good results, so this is disappointing.
Placed an order online for prescription glasses on May 19. On May 24th, 3 business day later, I received an email that had been sent to "production" and would take approx. 6 business days to produce and then 1 to 2 business days to ship. After twice the number of business days had passed, I called them on June 11th to find out when I would get them. I was told "they are in production" but that they would check on the status. On June 12th I received an email from a "Cindy Wright" confirming to me that they received my call and forwarded my inquiry to the "Production Department", and that I would receive a response absolutely no later than June 16th. Today is the 17th and still no response. I called them again and after a 15 minute wait time, was told they were "In Production"! I told them in no uncertain terms to cancel the order.

I used to order glasses from glassesusa for my whole family. I had no problem before. This time it's been a month since my order and they still can't give me an estimate on shipping date. All I get is "We are working hard to deliver your order. At this time, we can't promise an exact delivery date.". I'm sorry, but I need to know how long you are planning to work hard on my order.
I was promised a refund, but now they are "working hard" on the refund and no money has been refunded.
I started a paypal dispute, because I need my money back so I can order from another vendor.

I ordered a pair of Ray bans 5154 clubmasters from Scam USA early May and still haven't got my glasses. I call the customer service line *******186 which the representatives are located in the Philippines, and I've constantly ask where is my order. They will come up with some B. S. Lies saying "The glasses are undergoing inspection, it's going to take 48 hours". Well OK, so i give Scam USA a week and call again, guess what they said the same B. S!
Furthermore, Glasses USA is totally B. S Scam artists. Their Customer service is awful, their production team is awful, hell the website is awful. Scammmmmmmm! Its June 17,2020 and I still dont have my product

I ordered my glasses in May. We're halfway through June now and they STILL haven't even been shipped out yet. They advertise two weeks to receive the product and every time I have called to complain they say that covid is the reason for the delay. But they told me the glasses have been ready for two weeks. If they have been ready for two weeks why can't they ship them? What the hell does coronavirus have to do with that? I've ordered a lot online since covid broke out in March and this is the only company I have had any issue with. As far as I can tell I'm out $300. Save yourself the headache and buy local. This is a scam.

Ordered my glasses 5/30/2020 it is now June 16 2020 and it says my glasses are still in production which it says the initial process is only supposed to take 4-6 days and it's been 17 DAYS! And that's not including the amount of time it's going to take to get my house. I called I emailed and still NOTHING. There still in production. Now I'm nervous reading all these reviews that I'm going to wait forever to get these glasses and they might have the wrong prescription or they might come broken. This has been the worst experience with ordering online glasses and I regret it. I should of just paid the extra and went to lens crafters and had my glasses the same day. I'm pissed.! NEVER AGAIN.! I ordered glasses on 29 May and was told the glasses shipped on 5 June. Now 15 June and glassesUSA flat out refuses to provide me with a tracking number. They will not give me any heads up on where my order is or when it will be delivered. I am convinced that I will not ever receive these glasses and glassesUSA stole my money. This is abhorrent customer service and they should be ASHAMED.

I ordered glasses from them 5/9/20 still haven't received. Poor customer service with same canned responses. Tracking number created but USPS says they haven't received package. As far as I can tell I'm out $400. My banks says I can Dispute the charge and they will open an investigation. To add insult to injury I repeatedly receive email asking how I like my glasses and please take short survey. Lesson learned! I give them one star only because I had to to write this post. They deserve no star.

I ordered my glasses May 17th. I figured I would give them extra time because of the pandemic going on and minimal staff. Each time I look at my status it stats "Your glasses are in quality testing" it has been the same status since the email I received May 27th. Still giving them more time. I inquired June 8th and June 12th about my glasses via chat, same excuse. "due to covid-19 our third party shipping carrier is expecting delays" But yet your site states they are in quality testing? I told them I didn't want your glasses anymore and they claim they shipped and I can return them when I receive them. When is this going to be? When the pandemic is over and you have gained my money? On 03/31 I ordered 2 pair of glasses from Glasses USA.
I provided my written prescription. When I received my glasses, one pair was ok the other pair the prescription was off. I returned the Amelia E Addis Clear Purple glasses to have the prescription corrected.
Glasses USA received the defective pair back on April 20,2020. Since then I have had 24 email interactions, 4 Chat sessions, and one 50-minute phone call.
I still do not have my replacement glasses it has been 47 days.
I have asked repeatedly to get me my glasses or give me a refund and you have done neither.

I purchased eyeglasses in February 2020. Four months later, a nose pad is broken, and one of my "scratch resistant coated" lenses is scratched. Now I am being told that in order for GlassesUSA to provide me a replacement pair of eyeglasses, I have to pay to have the original pair shipped back to them. What?!?! This after two of their C/S reps told me they would send a shipping label. I have been wearing glasses for 50 years and have NEVER had a nose pad break. I placed my order on May 19th for a $504 pair of prescription sunglasses. Good communications until I stopped receiving updates. On June 3rd. I sent an email asking for status and immediately received a response with a USPS tracking number. Success I thought! Checked the Tracking link and USPS states Awaiting Receipt of the Package. Multiple calls and emails followed and each time I was told that "due to covid 19... due to the street disturbances" the shipper is experiencing delays. Not true! We receive USPS frequently and, more importantly, you can't blame the shipper if you don't give them the package. I have since filed a complaint with the BBB and started a claim with my Credit Card company Meanwhile I can't use my old precription glasses because of cataract surgery; the prescription is totally different! Strongly suggest that you do not deal with this company.

I ordered and paid $287.80 for sunglasses on 5/14 and they haven't been shipped. I was Told twice that there were shipping delays due to Covid-19. I finally sent a complaint to BBB. The next day I received a tracking number. A week after getting the tracking # I got an email yesterday that now the glasses had not shipped because of the protests. When I contacted them last night Covid is the excuse once again. I'm trying to get a refund so I reported this issue to my Attorney General's consumer complaint department.

My order was cancelled and they suppose to give me store credit so I can put a new order with a new prescription. Contacted at least 20 times and every time they say they will credit my account within 2-3 days and now it's more than 30 days and no store credit. Be careful before you order anything because once you order and want to make any changes or return, you will not be able to do anything you are stuck. They will just lie and nothing will happen. I'm about to file a legal dispute.

I ordered from glassesusa because I had a coupon for 30% off, so I took the plunge! They kept me apprised of everything that happened with emails every step of the way. It took a little while, but at least they kept sending me emails as it moved through the steps. I received them about a week after they shipped and they are exactly what I ordered with the right prescription. They were a tiny bit loose, but thats not too big of a worry as they were easy to tighten. Good experience for me overall! No issues.

In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Our delivery department works toe to toe with all of our carriers to make sure our glasses are delivered as promptly as possible. We also offer a variety of shipping options that ensure a faster delivery for any interested customers, but our customers need to keep in mind shipping times do not include production time. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
