So I first saw this sight because I was looking for a specific item and saw it for way cheap on this sight thought that was awesome. So I ordered it without getting a credit. Wrong answer, because I used a checking/shaving account it took 10 days for it to even process EVEN thought they already took the money out 24 hours after I ordered it. It will be a full 3 weeks since ordering for it to even arrive, and its not because of holiday traffic. Last time I order ANYTHING off these kinds of sights.
I am a new customer of theirs. I just ordered 3 items from them. The first item I received was supposed to be a 4" mattress topper it was a 3" topper so I had to send it back and reorder still waiting... the 2nd item came a few days later a worklight for my boyfriend way smaller than advertised for 50.00... the 3rd item came today. A game for my son for Christmas and you guessed it... the wrong game was shipped. So. I am going to have to send it back and cross my fingers I get the correct one in time for Christmas. I was really hoping this would all go smoothly. I hope that in the future they can get it right!
DONT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM! They have the absolute worst customer service! I made an order that had not been delivered after 20 days. Customer service rep seemed to be inconvenienced by me. Will not do business again.
I was about to buy gift for my son. This site has helped purchase gifts for Christmas and birthday. Sorry they are closing.

I've been with this company for some time got 2 tablets for Xmas both did not work sent back they would not except it... I will never order from them... never had a problem on till now...
Gettington sent me a 2'x3' rug instead of the 8'x11' area rug I ordered. I needed the correct item right away so she said (several times) they were shipping out the right one with "expedited" shipping so it should be there by the 2nd of Nov... the sent it standard 10 day shipping so it won't make it until the 10th, the agent seemed annoyed, flat out lied to me and said anything she could to get me off the phone. When I called back and asked for a manager they sent me to a voicemail to leave a message. No manager has called me back. I will never order from Gettington again because of the careless order picking/shipping process and because of the horrible customer service. Filing a complaint with the better business bureau for the first time in my life. I'm frustrated and disgusted!
Gettington items are extremely OVERPRICED! I always check their prices on other sites and end up not ordering from Gettington. Their shipping rates are ridiculous when other companies have free shipping. They keep raising my credit line but, I'm not ordering because they're A RIP OFF!
They keep decreasing and increasing credit line monthly. Shipping is way over priced. They no longer have any valid discount codes... Customer service is the worst.
They took money from my checking account and charged me late fees! I even sent my account statements to no avail! I pay 300.00 for a an item that was 89.00!
"Customer Disservice" is what they should admit they offer. USPS changed our ZIP code, and we still wrestle with 50% of sites accepting the new ZIP, 50% accepting the old ZIP. I was to receive a call back from a specialist within 48 hours, never did. Then called back and spoke with "Joe" [#134] who was nice at first, then turned nasty. He claimed that of 10 supervisors, none were available, and I could not hold to speak with a supervisor. While he initially admitted he understood that their website was causing the issue by auto-standardizing the address [makes sense for shipping address, but billing address - why?], and then tried to tell me I should update the ZIP code to make this purchase, regardless of the havoc it would wreak on every other auto-payment for the websites that aren't currently recognizing the new ZIP code. Dude, I get that it's a non-standard situation, but that does not give you the right to be a jerk to a customer. And the idea that no one is available or will call you back? Inexcusable! So, instead of getting my money, they'll get a bunch of negative reviews on how they treat people. Awesome marketing decision, Gettington!
I've been a Gettington customer since 2010. I have never had a single issue with this company regarding a product, a bill, a question, anything. I have ordered an Asus laptop last February and no problems whatsoever. My first order was a Food Saver for my daughter for Christmas in 2010 and she still uses it. I have ordered from them 5-6 times and have never had a problem. If you watch for sales in your emails you can get some good deals and often an email with $ off. I am a catalog goddess, just wishing not buying and I do get a few ridiculously pre- approved offers from companies that DO sell tacky overpriced items. Gettington is getting better at putting a lot more quality brand name items in their products. I'm a credit skeptic having been screwed over royally from mortgage companies, banks and car dealers and credit card companies. In my opinion and this is just MINE, I think they're a good company and worth my 5 star review. Even if you choose to the long way paying it back like I do the monthly interest with Gettington is still less than what I would pay for with a major Dept. store credit card I couldn't have gotten anyways. Sorry about every ones bad luck, been there over and over. Just had to give credit where it's due in my opinion.

Well, I can say nothing negative about this company. I got approved and is waiting for my order to arrive. I will be back on this site to do another review about my shipping and product review. So far my experience went smooth and plus they are very similar to Fingerhut.com. I think Fingerhut has more items but I wanted to try this store to see what it's like. I had no issues so far. I can't believe all the negative reviews on this store. I just hope I have a better experience with my products and getting my stuff on time or before time.
On Sept. 11,2018, I received my first order from this company. I ordered The Bucket of Sweets with different kinds of sweets like candies like airheads and m&m's caramel popcorn. I must say the package came just the photo wrapped with ribbons. A perfect gift for anyone for any occasion. We enjoyed it very much. The con is the high price, this item cost $69.00 with the shipping my total was $84.98. Way too much for the amount I got. I got about 14 pieces of candy and they were average sizes like the skittles and m& m's, the cost was too high. I recommend this site to my friends and family. I had problems with this site. The shipping was UPS, which I think most of the drivers are idiots and don't care about their packages because this package I received had come with a tin can and it was dented.
I had ordered some items for a special event. When the items came, they had send me the wrong size shoes. I called immediately and they said I would have to send the shoes back and I needed to follow the instructions on the label that came with my items. There were not return codes specified on this packing list so I called back. Got the code and asked why it said I would be charged to send back the item they sent me in error! After talking to a second person, they agreed to send me a return postage label! This should have been done with my first call! I sent the package back, following all the instructions for an exchange. It was ten days before they even got my shoes back. I called to see what the hold up was and he told me it would take ten days to credit my account! I told him that I asked for an exchange... he clearly had no idea what was happening with my order. This could have been a language barrier, since every agent I spoke to since this mess started could barely speak English! He said it will take another ten days to get my shoes to me... really?! I'm not confident at all that this is going to turn out correctly but I will NEVER do business with this company again. Also, their shipping is outrageous! They charged me over $34 to ship a 4 lb package! Robbery... stay away from this company.
They call me 8 times a day for 14 days BEFORE my payment is due. EIGHT TIMES! At 1am! At 4am!
I've never missed a payment, but they feel the need to call me around the clock for no reason to tell me my payment will be done soon.
This company comes off like sugar and spice granting credit to low credit score, and when you find that you'll pay almost DOUBLE for the merchandise you ordered, You'll lose it. Please be CAREFUL as to make your payments. My initial order was 120.00. I paid over 180.00 into it and bc of late fees I still owe 240.00? WT HECK? I WANT EVEYONE TO KNOW HOW THIS COMPANY PROFITS! OFF OF THE WEAK! PIGS!
I have had an account with Gettington for 3+ years. So far, I have not had a problem with orders being complete, although a few items have been slightly damaged. My complaint is with their collection department. I make my payments through my bank, and they are always scheduled to arrive before the due date. Several times, I have gotten "confidential" emails reminding me my payment was due, even when the payment had already been credited. This last month, I got 2 voicemail messages about 15 minutes apart, telling me to call them about my account ASAP. So, I did. The agent I spoke to informed me that my account was overdue, and I owed a late fee. He was extremely rude and kept trying to talk me into making the payment right then through them to remove the late fee. When I finally saw a copy of my cancelled check, it showed Gettington had received it 2 days before the harassing phone call and had deposited the payment the day of. If you don't mind being harassed regularly about payments they have already received that they claim not to have received, good for you. I mind, and I won't be ordered from them anymore.
Ordered a shoe storage bench. Arrived in a timely manner however, they sent 3 of them. Called "customer service" and they immediately claimed responsibility for the error and said that mailing lables to return the additional 2 would arrive in 7-10 days. Once received, they would refund the amount of the 2 benches. I let them know that this was unacceptable that I should not have to pay for their mistake. Asked to speak with a manager... none available. Said I could leave a message and would get a call in 48 hours! Again, unacceptable. That was 36 hours ago & no call. Emailed their "customer service" department with concern and again a 48 hour response time. Received an instant "reply email" informing me it would be longer. Bottom line, their "customer service" is of NO service to the customer. In addition, the bench I ordered for $169. Barely worth $69. Poor quality, directions & appearance! Beware of this company. There are other online companies offering the same type products that are responsible & reliable to do business with.
